the old coachouse hotel in Moray

Four of us ate here on a Sunday evening on the advice of Trip Advisor. The staff were very good and the food was good too. Would recommend this place if staying in Buckie.

Visité el coachhouse durante el fin de semana con mi gran para el almuerzo. Nos sorprendió la variedad de opciones en el menú de aperitivos y ensaladas para completar las parrillas! Decidimos ambos tienen la media porción de Pavo asado y skirlie. Tuvimos un poco de espera, pero estaba bastante concurrida, así que no importó. Cuando los platos venían no podíamos creer el tamaño de la porción, de hecho, ambos llegaron a la conclusión de que nos habían malinterpretado y se sirve un completo cada porción! Fue encantador y nos pudimos aclarar los platos. Cuando fui a pagar me esperaba una factura por dos porciones más grandes, pero era tan agradable que no me habría importado, pero llegó a un total de £12.40!!!! Dos almuerzos y bebidas todos para enorme, increíble! Tuvimos una larga discusión sobre el camino a casa sobre cómo grandes porciones "normales" era y llegaron a la conclusión debe tener una mesa toda para ti y sirvió en un enorme ashet!! Had an enjoyable lunch here good food friendly staff and not too expensive. It was busy when we were there but there was no delay with the food

We had an excellent evening meal in the Coach House. Every one was very friendly, enjoyed it very much.

No esperes más por aquí porque la parte delantera del hotel parece un poco cansado, pero estábamos inmediatamente pusieron a nuestra facilidad por el personal muy amable que nos enseñó a través del (bastante pasada de moda, pero están impecablemente limpias) comedor. El servicio fue excelente y la comida era muy buena y sabrosa. Los precios son también muy razonables. No te desanimes, vale la pena una visita.

La habitación en la que me alojé era muy pequeña y estaba en grave necesidad de una reforma. Todas las tablas del suelo creeked y con el hotel al estar tan ocupado que no pudimos dormir mucho.Me quedé, sin embargo, realmente disfrutar de la comida en el hotel. estaba buenísimo y era una buena relación calidad-precio.

This was a good meal served promptly with friendly staff. The menu was fairly standard but the food was nicely cooked and presented. Recommend.

Small portion of the starter, but massively too much main course. Not cheap either. The chips were brick hard, like they had been sitting under a grill heater for ages. Nearly broke a tooth on them.

Teníamos el uso de una habitación privada para una gran reunión de familia. Pedimos nuestras opciones de menú antes de llegar - recepción y personal que nos cuidaron muy bien. La comida era buena, las porciones generosas y fue servida con rapidez. Ya nos hemos comido aquí varias veces cuando nos visite Buckie y volveremos ya que es consistentemente bueno - nada lujoso, pero buena comida a un precio razonable.

I have a hard time trying to decide how to rate this hotel. The food was good, nothing spectacular just good food. The service was terrible.We arrived for dinner at around 7pm on a Monday night. Instead of putting us in the dining room we were put in the bar, which was fine by us. There were 2 other tables of people. We were given menus and a drink order was taken. The server came back with the drinks and to take our order. I ordered a main as did my son-in-law. My husband asked if they had a soup, they did so he ordered it to start. It sounded good, so I asked for a soup as well. Here is the part that just floored me: The server gave this huge sigh, ripped out the sheet with our order and said "Thanks a lot, now I have to start the order all over because you ordered your starter after your main". Sorry but to me that is just not acceptable for a server. About 20 minutes later, they told us our meal was ready and to follow them. We were then moved from the cozy bar with a fire place (remember only 2 tables out of about 6 in use) to this huge room with one other couple in it, and where did they sit us but right beside the other couple.Like I said the food was good but the poor service and being moved to this huge empty room just left us with a poor feeling of the whole experience.

Dinner was cooked to perfection , great prices too .Also had breakfast which was lovely.

Sunday roast carvery was fantastic although a little pricey and service average the food was spot on.

We pre-booked a table in the restaurant after being recommended by friends. The welcome was warm and our order taken by the polite staff. The restaurant was well decorated and table settings were clean and tidy in a well relaxed atmosphere.When the food, sourced locally, arrived it was well presented, fresh and delicious. The price was in line with other local establishments so all in all a place well worth recommending for your evening meal.
