The New Swan Hotel in Neath Port Talbot

Cosy old place, like all the street. Nice pub, good beer, the English breakfast is nice.

Lovely spot to stay, very lively on a Saturday evening for pints and a great location if you're wanting to do any event at the Triumph Centre!

Stayed and ate here the day before a wedding. I must say it was cheap which is reflected in the review however the rooms need updating and decorated. Food was OK and service again was OK, do nothing to shout about but if looking for cheap stay, ticks the boxes.

Wow what a place the staff are excellent and nothing is to much trouble The rooms are very very clean The food is amazing 10 of us booked for an enduro weekend One of our group was injured and struggled to walk The staff looked after him so well just amazing Gareth the owner even took one of our lads out with his friends on an enduro day out I couldn’t go as I stayed with our injured friend The most amazing thing was the locals made us feel so welcomed we had a laugh And we will definitely be going back Thank you all at the new swan and the local people ❤️❤️

Update: 03/25. Just been for lunch, surf and turf was outstanding. Steak, scampi chips & salad. Steak was cooked perfectly chips were home made and the salad was salad. It really is difficult to beat for value for money. In summary the drinks are reasonably priced and the food is spot on. Great place to go for lunch. It's a good pub, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable which is great. Plenty of live music on Saturdays. They have loads of crash helmets and a few motor bikes hanging from the ceiling or on stands which is cool. A small seating area which doubles as a stage, along with the main sewing areas. They also have the blues brothers keeping an eye on things from the corner which is a nice touch. Haven't tried the food or the hotel but I've no doubt it'll all be good .

Had a great stay and staff are very friendly and helpful. Center of town and easy to get around. Family rooms we got are upstairs

Absolutely love my local pub The New Swan 🦢 always a lovely atmosphere and the bar staff are absolutely amazing too, it also has a very lovely little beer garden 🏡 that's so comfy with nice little cushions and it's always absolutely spotless in the ladies toilets and my partner says the same about the men's toilets too! Five stars all round the only pub for me that I'm proud to call my local 💖

From the minute you arrive to checking out, you are made to feel welcome. Gareth and his family ensure that your stay is relaxed and everything is as it should be. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed, giving excellent value for money.

I really liked this place. It's filled with motorcycle memorabilia etc...a very cool place to sit & chill when in the area.

Amazing breakfast and it's pretty good value

Stayed 2 nights whilst off road biking, staff were very friendly and a nice atmosphere with locals and other guests alike. Good breakfast options and very reasonable prices.
