The New Goxhill Chippy in North Lincolnshire

First time using this chippy, do gluten free fish and chips plus gluten free fishcakes plus a full menu, great prices the lady serving is very polite and efficient, food also very good, we will be back 😋

Good fish and chips. Sad that it’s often closed when I feel like buying but I guess they can’t stay open just to suite me!

His place is great. I was 90p over (they let me off) and gave me an extra chicken nugget! amazing food. amazing place!

Kebabs were lovely prices are reasonable and food is fresh. Highly recommend the mixed chicken kebab

I Used to use a lot as the food is lovely but the last time I ordered a doner kebab there were about 2 slices of donner meat in it . I actually thought it had fallen out of the box but it hadn’t ? 8 quid for flat bread coleslaw and salad ! I wouldn’t mind they have increased the cost of doner meat by alot yet don’t give you any so I’m not sure what you are paying for when you order one. They need to sort it and if they do I will go back as the food is nice but reducing portion sizes to that extent yet charging you over the odds is just not acceptable or fair

I won’t be going here again sadly. Battered sausage was like mush, pie was rock hard and the fish cake was inedible. Shame really as used to visit regularly

Called in today 23 Dec , very friendly staff and a customer ,we all had a good chat and laugh even though I was a stranger . I ordered a bag of chips for my journey home I was told they won't be long just a few minutes as they were in the fryer. My only regret is I didn't order a bigger bag these chips were fresh ,hot and tasty . Apparently the steak and stilton pie is worth a try and I wish I ordered one . Cost was £2.00 something for a medium bag which was generous the something was because I couldn't believe it started with a 2.

Chips had the skin on so was instantly put off. Maybe some people like that but it wasn't for me

Couldn't smell the chippy outside. Only old oil smell. No queue on a Friday night. No sizzle from wet chips entering the oil, so they were dry. Everything is dark brown (old oil). Fish wasn't white. Curry, peas, and gravy kept warm in plastic containers. Curry fruity. No taste whatsoever with this meal. Just grease. No hairnets or uniforms are worn by the server. Outdoor clothes should not be worn while serving food! Thrown it away. Very disappointing.

Overpriced, pizza wasn't cooked and full of gristle, fishcake hardly had any fish in it and chips weren't the best

Good service, food takes a while due to being freshly fried for you but is worth the wait as it’s some of the best in the area

Food was the worst I'd had from any takeaway think it was frozen,, but saying that the 2 women in there was very nice and chatty.

Very hit/miss with quality I'm afraid. When they are good they are really good but as poor quality has occurred a few times we will not be going again for a while. Today's fish and chips... Chips hard and fish yellowish and mushing making an unpleasant tea.

Great selection of foods not only fish and chips but curries, Chinese, burgers, wraps and kids meals.

We have just moved into the village and tried the chip shop today. My only gripe is that they are not open more often :-) The lady that served us was lovely and I understand she and her husband run the chip shop. You are absolutely spoilt for choice with the menu that caters for kebab lovers, pizza lovers, fish and chips, hot wings right down to apple pie or korma The food was cooked fresh in front of us and was absolutely delicious I like that the jumbo sausage and fish were both tested for the right temperature which ensures your meal is perfect Overall all a good solid five stars from me
