The New Carlton Fish Bar in Gedling

Perfect given my time of arrival just before 6pm on a Sunday most chippies are closed. fully ready for service, no wait, with a full selection of choice from menu. Decent sized fluffy chips, with a generous amount of salt and vinegar, thoroughly coated in a tasty curry sauce all together being topped off with a good crispy coated battered sausage. Hot and good to go. very reasonably priced. Happy days.

went here after having such bad fish and chips in arnold mapperley etc.... everything we had was excellent southern fried chicken fish and chips and you ask for large peas curry and you get large!! not like in the others. Also it is really good quality and priced very reasonable and get plenty they don't skimp. Well worth that ten minute run recommend to everyone well worth a try you will see the difference believe me. Also all the other charge for fish then chips extra and cost a fortune but you can get both here for just over £3.00 bargain please try

Whilst staying with family we had a fish a chip supper and was very very nice , good portions well cooked and very tasty.
