Gorgeous take away food. I’ve eaten in numerous times but take away is just as delicious. Delivery was prompt and easy.

Ordered over two hours ago and still waiting…

Literally the worst takeaway experience ever. Decided to go with something new, took over two hours to arrive. Could have driven there and back if I knew what hassle it would be.

Used to order from deliveroo. Cant do that anymore. I contacted them and was told I can order directly from them. Well I have been trying for a few weeks, only for it to be "closed". Finally got an order through online only for it to be cancelled. Not gonna try again. Shame was my favourite place

Ok ok indian food in Aberdeen. NOT BEST BUT tasty, good sized portions and quality ingredients. Particularly recommend the lamb, which is always tender and delicious, never stringy, and the vegetable pakora, which is crisp, so flavorful and the perfect starter.

Delivery was almost an hour late. Good pricing, but their chicken tikka masala was a dyed korma at best. Chicken Chaat was good though. Might eat here again but wasn’t swept off my feet.

I had a late lunch in the restaurant. Overall good but not ideal. I was the only customer at 19:30 on Monday night but the host did not show much of the enthusiasm of me coming in. He was friendly but not very inviting. I ordered one of the specials with mild lamb and plain naan. The meal was good and mild as expected but I wouldn't say the best East Indian Lamb I tried. Restaurants has not advertised themselves as being halal place but no alcoholic drinks were available on night. That might be the reason why it was dead empty.

Very very tasty and tons of food for the price! Its my go to in Aberdeen with their online discount.

Having tried multiple Indian takeaways since moving here and always ordering a Phall everywhere was a disappointment and it was barely a korma I would receive. I tried Naawabs for the first time a couple of days ago and it was brilliant. The portion size was fantastic, I actually received a Phall, they also included several dips to accompany my order which was a pleasant surprise. The delivery driver was friendly and the time in waiting was very fast. I've definitely found my new regular Indian restaurant finally and look forward to having more meals from then in the future.

Nawaabs has been and remains to be my favourite Indian Restaurant in Aberdeen. The food is always delicious. I've given 4 stars for the food, they would've got a 5, but twice now the garlic naan has been a little dry and tough. A little disappointing but I soaked that guy in the delicious sauce and it was fine.The peshwari naan has always been amazing though! Highly recommend,

We usually rate Nawaabs highly as it is our go to take-out Indian however today we've been more than disappointed. The food arrived luke warm, and the chicken tikka masala was more like a lentil soup. Also the lamb dish ordered was supposed to be spicy and was mild. Finally, the chips were inedible even with sauce added. Unfortunately we will be looking for a new Indian restaurant in future.

Ordered on Just Eat, came 1/2 hour earlier than the earliest delivery time we were quoted so lucky we were back home. Luke warm despite being early, bland chicken chat, worst Lamb Pasanda I have ever tasted, not creamy but wishy washy pink gloop!! The Lamb Rogan Josh was also lacking in flavour with no heat whatsoever and both dishes were tough. Should have called for a refund to be honest. Avoid at all costs!!

Food was tasty but it was incredibly oily. Traditional Indian food is not oily, so I wouldn’t order from here again.

This has to be the best Indian takeaway ever so fresh and made to order food I like quite mild and they make it to my liking the jalfrezi is the best and their garlic naan is second to none would highly recommend trying Nawaabs :)

The newly opened restaurant is hygienic, reasonably priced and gives excellent service. The portion size is huge. A definite visit for meals with families / friends

Ordered a takeaway online which was easy to do. Went in to collect and was told to wait 10 minutes which I was happy to do. I got home with my food to realise I was missing my main course and chips. I phoned and was told that these would be delivered in 30-35 minutes. Over an hour later… there is still no food. My partner phoned them to see where the meal was, and was rudely greeted by the person on the phone. The man on the phone said they were ‘busy’ and there was no delivery driver. Outrageous when there was 7 people in the restaurant an hour before. The man on the phone then answered another phone which ran and proceeded to make conversation with the other person. No apology or compensation and at the time of writing this… no food either. Wonder if I will even get it? Disappointing service, but the food we did receive was pleasant.

Good quality of food and good price

I had a very tasty dinner at this nice restaurant. It has a good menu with plenty of choice. I have prawn puree, lamb dhansak and lemon & Cashew rice, all were delicious - washed down with Corba beer. Prices are reasonable too. It 's a shame that I live 500 miles away, otherwise I'd be a regular. I visited early on Tuesday evening and it was very quiet - was the only diner for most of the time I was there, but I imagine that it gets very busy.

Wouldn’t let me review as a takeaway but never again. Food arrived on time but was not hot. I had Tika Masala (my favourite) sauce was very sweet and chicken as tough as old boots, not a masala as I know it. A few hours later had more than a couple of trips to the loo, so reckon I had a touch of food poison,, sorry for the bad review but as I said before Never Again.

Came here to treat my self after getting promoted with family. Walk in and I see 2 workers at the back. He sits us down and hands us dirty menus and he has dirty clothes on. There was no music whatsoever and the restaurant had a lingering smell of egg? No proper customer service. Food was okay however the experience ruined it for me. The worker was very rude and gave blunt replies to questions seemed like he just wanted to get back to talking to whoever it was at the back as she didn’t seem to work there. Never again, don’t recommend.

Ordered meal deal for 2 on Just Eat. Starters were ok but the main course Indian garlic chilli chicken was very disappointing. Overwhelming heat in the curry and zero flavour. Love hot curries but this was inedible. Lots of other good flavoursome curries in Aberdeen. Won’t be back.

Tried here when Jewel on the Crown couldn't be assed driving the 5 miles to my house (and were pretty rude in telling me so much) so I ordered a Newab Taste and a Garlic Chilli Chicken. When it arrived, we clearly had two of the Newab Tastes. What made it worse was that curry pretty much sucked. It was supposed to have garlic and corriander but ..... and this is no exageration....it was literally just a bowl of passata with chicken in. No flavour other than tomato, no spices, nothing. It was supposed to be a hot dish but other than the two small green chillies floating on top it wasn't even slightly spicy. Meat samosas were pretty tasteless. £30 of food chucked in the bin. Will try somewhere else next time.

Cold restaurant cold plates and cold food. Waiting staff hanging around whilst one waiter was left to do everything. Certainly won’t be back service, atmosphere and staff were not what they were very disappointing

Today I have ordered tandoori mixed grill and coca cola. I have recived 3 containers. The first one having 1 shish kabab and 1 large prawn with multiple pieces of meat and chicken tikka. The flavors was nice but they have mixed with same sauce. The second container have a colored rice and it's flavor is normal. The third container contains a vegetable sauce and it's nice. Also I have recieved 1 bread with 3 different sauce and salad . In general I like the meal. Thank you so much note that I have add 2 another suase from my own.

I am a huge Indian food fan, and have been recommended many Indian places since moving Aberdeen. Most are the standard British version of Indian food- fine, but a bit to saucy with not much flavour. But the food from Nawaabs was great- proper sauces with loads of stuff in it, wonderful flavour, and a decent price. I am not sure if it is just that I like food from this region, but this is my go-to from now on. Delicious! There was some rice missing from our order, but within 15 minutes of calling the restaurant, there was rice at our doorstep. Banging!

Took dinner here a few nights back. Was a little worried when I arrived as Friday evening and I was the only customer there. The waitress asked me twice if I wanted take away - I think this restaurant is bigger into take away, although by the end of my dinner it had a few more diners. About the food. Chicken tikka very artistically presented. Good taste too. The main course I chose lamb curry. Generous portion with plenty of rice. Again - good flavour and I enjoyed it very much. For dessert the kulfi which was average. Manager kindly offered me a drink at the end of my meal - very kind and generous of him. Would like to return again to this restaurant.

My daughter is Coeliac and Nawaabs regularly make a gluten-free meal. She's never had any cross-contamination. We'll done to the chefs and the excellent team at Nawaabs.

We ordered a take away from Naawabs Indian Restaurant for collection, as we have done many times before. We ordered 3 Poppadom with 1 x spiced onions and 1 x mango chutney, 1 x onion Bhaji to share. We received 5 Poppadoms, 2 x spiced onions, 2 x mango chutney which was lovely as were our onion Bhaji. For our mains we ordered 1 x Chicken Madras and 1 x Chicken Tikka Naawabs Masala Special with steamed rice. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. This once wonderful restaurant has gone downhill so incredibly quickly. Our meals were both swimming in sauces that had no flavour and the Madras had no heat. Both dishes were tasteless as though the sauces had came pre made from a powder or jar. Sad to say after such a long time that this is the last time that we will use what used to be our favourite Indian restaurant.

Eaten at the restaurant on so many occasions and never had any issues but their take away service is awful. The restaurant can’t afford to let its reputation slip especially right now when people are relying on them the most. Take away at weekends are a treat. Both occasions we’ve had delivery, it has been ridiculously late and the delivery driver apologises on their behalf. Tonight our food was 1hr 15 late. I read a review on just eat that some people had food delivered nearly 2 hrs late. Not good

Ordered online delivery on New Years Eve at 4:30pm with 45min delivery time .At 6pm phoned and told food def on way . It did arrive ... dripping wet & soggy esp. Naan & poppadoms . Absolutely foul . Rice was missing from order too & we phoned for explanation of what one meal actually consisted of as it was like scrapings out of a deep fat fryer and dripping in grease ? Yes- it was that bad. Got offered discount from next order but I was unhappy with this option but they wouldn’t deliver missing items or 1 replacement meal ( we stay approx 15mins from restaurant!). I suggested I’d collect which was accepted . Rice was ok- replacement poppadoms & chips just as bad 2nd time . Not sure what went wrong , but it was seriously awful & took shine off end of year celebrations . Will NOT use again .

Nice staff and atmosphere is good, but the food is disgusting. I wanted to love it, but I couldn't. It is only my opinion and maybe you will like it, but I personally would recommend going somewhere else

Fui a cenar aquí. Pedí el cordero bhuna y el vindaloo de langostinos. El plato de cordero era hermoso, sin embargo, el vindaloo no estaba picante incluso después de preguntar si se podía hacer un poco más picante de lo habitual y las gambas eran muy pequeñas. El personal de espera era excelente e incluso ofreció una bebida gratuita después de la comida. Tried this restaurant for delivery for the first time, food arrived promptly and was hot. Really enjoyed our meals both main dishes were excellent and very generous portions. Will most definitely order again.

Went to the Nawaabs between Xmas and new year. It’s a great classic Indian. Have been there many times, it should definitely be on your list to try. Good poppadoms, nice naans. A good selection of dishes. It’s a good quality place.

We ordered a home delivery, first time in years from Nawaabs. It did not disappoint. Great service, fantastic curry. Still lovely and hot when delivered. Very generous portions. Nom, nom, nom!

Four of us went for an Indian and choose “The Nawaabs” in Summer Street, we were not disappointed, filled ourselves with poppadoms and went straight to mains, none of us were disappointed, plenty of everything and the flavours just jumped out at you, the rice was perfectly fluffy. A wonderful meal in a pleasant setting.

It's been quite a while since we were last here but happy to report that nothing had changed. Place still looks the same and the quality was as good as ever. Only one other table occupied but it was Sunday night. Excellent value for money.

Food was lovely and the onion bhaji’s was amazing with my Lamb Achari, had a bit of a wait for my order to be taken but the waiter sharif took good care of us and as it was busy it was understandable. Overall it was a pleasant evening and I would highly recommend Nawaabs Tandoori.

Had a lovely meal here while on a business trip. Had the mixed pakora to start and the chicken chasni for main...both absolutely gorgeous. The poppadoms and spiced onions as an appetizer were delicious but very nippy! Definitely recommending to colleagues for future trips.

Visited again last night , restaurant was very busy , only to be expected for a Saturday night .Waiters were very polite as usual and we had a bit of a wait for our food but as usual it was worth the wait

The last time we were here, it was good quick service. This time however, took 10minutes to offer us drinks, let alone menu...... perhaps giving preference to there on line/delivery service. We ordered our starters at 7.05, now 7.22 and still waiting.... very disappointed ☹

Sorry guys you did not come up to scratch on Sat 6th. Birthday meal. Booked last week. Arrivwed 7pm on Saturday and not particularly busy at that time. Waiter was "filling in" so made allowances for that however ordered starters & mains from regular staff. Restaurant filling up. Later on enquiring why we had waited so long for orders we were advised that they had 40 deliveries/carryouts to do. Other diners restless about orders. Pakoras eventually arrived - one quite dry - but main courses were very good despite the very long wait. Politeness on both sides at all times. Time marched on but menus not produced for desserts or coffees so we left. This is not our usual experience at Nawabs but then we don't normally go there on a Sat night. Is this the norm?

This is the 2nd time we have been to this restaurant in 2 months, travelling up from South Wales, due to our son starting his masters degree in Aberdeen uni.The service was excelent along with the food. The menu is of different parts of India regions fantastic. Would recommend anyone and everyone who likes Indian cuisine to go and try. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

The food here is normally top notch, so much so it’s the only place I go for a takeaway but last night the Korma was totally bland and the pakoras was bland also not sure what has happened. Won’t be back

Tropezó con The Nawaabs por accidente. Me alegro de haberlo hecho, la comida y el servicio fue de primera clase. Al igual que otros han dicho, ¡me sorprendió encontrar el restaurante vacío! Tal vez sufre de su ubicación, lo cual es una gran lástima.

En vacaciones visitando parientes en Aberdeen. Usan este restaurante regularmente, fuimos el viernes por la noche, me sorprendió encontrar el restaurante prácticamente vacío, el menú tenía mucha variedad para todos los gustos, y la comida era absolutamente excelente, y el servicio era de primera clase. Sin duda una de las mejores comidas indias que he probado en mi vida.

Lovely food at this restaurant have been getting takeout from here since January and have never had a bad meal yet prices are reasonable and would not go anywhere else

The food was so lovely, my friends asked the waiter to recommend a dish for them and they were both delighted with their choice. Service is fantastic, they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Tried here on Saturday night following a recommendation, the place was nearly empty, plenty choices on the menu, some dishes I’ve never seen before, the food was absolutely delicious, a bit more expensive than some Indians but worth every penny

Vine aquí con mi madre y queríamos una cena rápida a un precio moderado. Fuimos recibidos calurosamente y sentados. Elegimos algunos platos de acompañamiento; dos takra daal, coliflor bhaji, vegetales mixtos al curry con arroz y naan. ¡La comida llegó rápidamente, bellamente presentada y deliciosa! El daal era cremoso y lleno de sabor, la coliflor era crujiente, cocinado a la perfección! ! Y el naan era suave y cálido y un complemento perfecto para el resto de la comida. Aunque pedimos platos de acompañamiento, las porciones eran mucho más grandes de lo que pensábamos y por un precio tan bueno.

Visitamos Nawaabs recientemente por primera vez en muchos años.

Takeaway of chicken madras, chicken South Indian garlic chicken and nans etc, arrived in record time, hot, well presented tasty and authentic, overall pretty good, no complaints.

As this restaurant is under new management we wanted to see if this restaurant was still as good as the first time we visited. We were not disappointed on Friday evening. The staff were very attentive and polite. The meal itself was delicious, I would recommend the Bombay sweet chilli with chicken, very tasty! Very good value for money. We will definitely return to this restaurant again and would recommend to others to visit.

Place was quiet bur excellent service as usual. Food was very tasty and good sized portions. We even had to ask for a “doggy bag” as the byrianii was huge. Based on what we had, I would have no problems recommending this restaurant.

Had home delivery twice now from this restaurant and each time it was top notch! Service great and delivery time good. But oh the quality of the food! Amazing!

This is a restaurant that always provides excellent service and food at the same time and apparently is now under new management so the standards are continuing. The meal we had, a colleague and I, was up to the usual standard but I would say the food WAS slightly better than usual and the service WAS slightly better than usual also. The staples are the best way to gauge a restaurant of this high standard, if you can get your Bhuna's and the like up to the mark the all else will follow and this is the case here as always. Highly recommended.

Knock out curry, rice and naan bread. Very good service, attentive and polite. House wine seemed a little steep and I’ve had better samosas but these are minor issues.

Nawaabs in a classic which I still return to every now and then, great little kind of romantic restaurant, good service and even better food. They seem to have a few bad reviews on here because of deliveries, I havn't ordered before so can't comment on that, but definately worth a visit to the restaurant.

The food was excellent and very tasty, and the service also matched. The decor and cleanliness was above the norm expected as have seen some decline in this area in lots of older restaurants in Aberdeen. Through the window it was empty but looked nice and fancied a new restaurant, so we went in anyway. We were not disappointed and can recommend this to anyone. May have got 5 stars but as we were only one of 2 couples in the place we cant say how it is under normal busier times....? It being the mid week after new year parties most places were quiet in the town. Also didn’t venture into the rest room (toilet) so didn’t see if it met our high standards which most of the town (cafe/pub at least) unfortunately doesn’t these days... Will go back with friends next time.
