Decent pub. Polite staff and reasonable prices

This is a pub which doesn't serve food. Wednesday is karaoke afternoon and is very well supported. Drink is competitively priced and the DJ's are always top notch. There is a good selection of singers participating . The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and a good time is had by all.

It has a nice atmosphere, the pub has character. The staff are nice and pleasant. The prices are very reasonable and they have screens for football if that's your fancy but it doesn't interrupt your conversation. Definitely reccomend it. I'm definitely going again.

I went to my friends wedding party, the pub had a event hall upstairs which was OK, there was a DJ, live music, a space for the dance floor and a bar, a buffet was also provided, the hall was a little small probably to accommodate upto 70 people, most of them were standing as no seats were available.

Good place to watch sport. Nice pint of Guinness at a decent price.

Excellent function room, excellent and pleasant staff, recommended for private room hire, the main pub area is very spacious and has recently been refurbished, all in all its an excellent pub.

2.50 pint lager, cheap pub, decent weekend

A good night as always apart from 1 guy that thought it was ok to insult me. But the bar staff must have thought it was ok because they served him, even though the security was asking him to leave 🤔

Landlady Sonya and her family are lazy and miserable a family full of kids and dramas. The rest of the staff there are fantastic, friendly and work hard. Rob and little Sonya (not the drunken landlady Sonya )on a Wednesdays are great fun and then there's Mal and Val all hard working, friendly and welcoming. If you're a group of young lads you won't be made welcome by the landlady she will stand in the middle of the pub with her hands on her hips and stares at you all and then when you challenged her on it she kicks you out. Don't laugh too loud she will kick you out. Don't enjoy yourself too much she will kick you out. Don't try and have a laugh with her she will take offence and kick you out. Don't be a newbie she doesn't like them and will kick you out. Go back to Spain already and take youre family with you! , we want our local pub back that you have ruined.

A good local pub for the surrounding area .but teatime is more like a dinner club for OAPs but still a nice pub and drinks are reasonably priced as well.

Mint venue. Full of fanny and the barmaid wanted to ride me like Seabiscuit.

Awful place. Went in for a quick drink with my 20 year old daughter, she was asked for id and promptly offered her provisional driving licence, only to be told that the company policy doesn't accept learner drivers licenses. The company may want to review it's job interview techniques as said bar woman was very sneery and could barely communicate with ourselves...... We promptly left and went to the mare and foal instead, they accept official id and we enjoyed a lovely atmosphere. Do yourself a massive favour and walk past this place on your way to a better pub.

What a great pub the Mowbray is .... The ale is great and is extremely cheap, all the staff there particularly Mal are lovely people and the service is excellent. Furthermore Friday Saturday and Sunday they provide DJs who provide great music which caters for both young and old playing tracks from the 50s 60s 70s 80s and 90s plus a Karaoke. As an example a pint of John Smiths bitter and half a Carling Lager is £2-90p I don't think there is any pub in gtr Manchester that could match that price! YES the Mowbray Arms is well recommended. ...

Welcome to Failsworth’s Wild West saloon! Where the local inbred and benefits Britain spend their money! Cheap beer and even cheaper clientele! We got scoped out for a fight by some gangster wannabes so we left! Not saying everyone who goes there is like this but a minority spoil it for the majority! I’d rather take my chances at the crown and cushion up the road! 😨

It's a great Pub with a great crowd of people, out for a great night. Took me 10 Minutes or so to get served on Saturday but, a good night out with friends etc.
