Exemplary service and food on offer. The dining room staff were so friendly and interested in their customers. The young lad working today had a wicked sense of humour (Sorry do not know his name)

Really good staffing and fantastic venue for a business course that we run monthly. Would recommend all look at renting the rooms here as they are fantastic as is the whole venue.

Had a day here on business. Decent enough hotel, albeit a little out of the way.

We bought a Buyagift voucher for a Luxury Afternoon Tea. The voucher clearly showed a picture of champagne and the description said champagne included, unfortunately the lady at the hotel said it was not and I could pay extra for this ! I paid £30 per person via Buyagift, If I had bought from the hotel direct, it would have been £24 pp. However, the hotel charge £28 for Prosecco and £31.50 for champagne, so clearly champagne was included, so not happy about that. So the Review – Positives - The location is really nice, the room, views to the well kept garden was good. - Most of the staff serving (not the manager) were good, although they didn’t ask if everything was ok, every time we had a query (such as we are missing some items), we had to go to the desk and ask. - The deserts were nice and good quality Negatives - The sandwiches were very average. The ham was the cheap plastic stuff. Very small amount of egg filling. Not impressed by the sandwiches - the type you find in a petrol station. - They did not honour the Buyagift voucher. Expensive for afternoon tea without champagne

Took my mom here for mothers day. Such a lovely day and wonderful service. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent. Lovely singer which made the atmosphere so appropriate for the setting. At the end each mom were given a box of chocolates. The whole afternoon was really lovely. Would definitely recommend.

For a mothers day treat my two daughter's booked us an afternoon tea at the Mount hotel. Unfortunately whilst travelling there from Worcester she experienced a blow-out on the motorway with herself & baby in the car. This was a traumatic time and caused her much distress. Following call for help she called the hotel to advise the what had happened & asked to rearrange because she wouldn't make it as she was stranded. To be told yes she could book, but the hotel would not return the deposit or use it to rearrange she would need to pay again. So a big thank you (not) goes to The Mount Hotel for your lack of care & compassion in what was a desperate situation. Proving you prefer to take the money, lose business for the booking & any other future visits. It is clear you do not value your customers & should be avoided.

I came to The Mount for afternoon tea, to celebrate Mother’s Day with my mom, sister and daughters. I hadn’t been for a few years because my previous experience wasn’t a good one. But I was extremely won over this time around. This old building is beautiful and everywhere is clean and highly polished. The conservatory that we were in was dressed like it was a wedding reception and was lovely and airy and warm. The staff were extremely attentive, polite and friendly. The food was gorgeous. Although there is more sweet than savoury, which suits me, but not everyone I suppose. But we were offered a box to take home what we couldn’t finish eating. The only negative I can say was the singer! It was a nice touch to have a live performer but, it meant we couldn’t have a conversation easily because of it. But overall we all enjoyed the afternoon experience

First time visit to this hotel. On first impressions I'm quite impressed. Staff very friendly and attentive, rooms are clean and rather grand looking keeping in theme with the historical building. Had the fish and chips for lunch and have to say was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed. Free parking and good location for local access, also reasonably priced rooms, not the cheapest but not overly priced. 19 Hrs later........ Ok so having now stayed the night, an update. The bed for me..no good, mattress was far to hard for me and very uncomfortable. I always bring my own pillow as I know what I like, this bed is not for me at all. I also had to have the window open all night as even with the radiator turned off the room was warmer than I'm comfortable with. No air conditioning except for a floor standing fan. Also they do have a gym, though the equipment is a bit tired, I decided not to use the treadmill as it looked old, very basic and not maintained. Probably why you have to complete a disclaimer before using the facility. So overall, lovely place, but I'd be mindful staying here in the summer as think it could maybe be too warm in rooms. I'd definitely consider staying again, but the mattress situation will have to be addressed.

Awesome food, lovely staff, very clean place, their masala chips are too die for.. I have photos to show you as well.. I had paneer masala tikka, which was so creamy as I don’t like spicy food. My husband had tandoori chicken and he said it was very juicy..
