A warm, welcoming cafe with a lovely homely feel. My adult ESOL students and I were made to feel so welcome here and the students loved the coffee, the atmosphere, the comfortable seats, the friendly staff and the decor. A hidden gem in the heart of Balsall Heath.

The MIX was revamped during lockdown. It is delightfully light, airy and artistic now. It is also full of welcoming friendly staff and volunteers and has well cooked and well presented tasty, healthy food. It is part of GAP ARTS an Arts project for 16- 25 year olds. As such there is always an exhibition of interest in the dedicated exhibition space adjoining the cafe area itself There is a great range of books to browse through if that is your thing. The coffee is of excellent quality as is the range of unususual ice creams. Always a nice place to visit.

563 Coventry Road, Small Heath Near The Main Entrance To Small Heath ParkI ordered here through deliveroo, ordered a T-bone steak for £18.95, wasnt expecting much but when it arrived it was one of the best steak i ever had. Steak had amazing flavor seasoned perfect. Healthy portion size.The meat was cooked perfect medium rare as i asked over the phone, and it was tender and not chewy at all. Came with a side of fries , salad , roast potato , caramelised onions and mushrooms. Will order again 100%.

154 Broad Street FivewaysEvery visit here is excellent. The service is second to none. The menu is not extensive but is adaptable and the food is always of the highest quality. The coffee is excellent and prices are remarkable. I don't understand why it is not busier especially as the atmosphere is suitably chilled.

Los pedidos vienen recién hechos y a una temperatura perfecta. Tuve un pedido agregado y tuve que llamar por teléfono y el servicio al cliente por teléfono fue increíble y resolvieron el pedido. El salón de té y el salón de belleza son dos salas diferentes, con dos entradas diferentes. La parte del salón de té es muy bonita. Bonita chimenea que tenía un efecto de quemador de leña acogedor fuego encendido. Tomamos un té con deliciosos pasteles caseros. Delicioso. El personal fue amable y atento. No puedo esperar para ir de nuevo.
