The Mist Bar in Scarborough

I have just come recently and everything was spot on , and staff were lovely. To say a Sunday night isn’t busy the girl at the bar who was only working with a glass collector was absolutely lovely she made sure everyone had a lovely night and to say the bar was packed she did amazing . The two young girls had lovely dark hair and one had a fringe and they definitely deserve some recognition! It’s a beautiful bar and I shall definitely be coming back !

Mist is a fab local, tourist can be abit rude compared to local people, want and expect platinum service, service very good, staff brilliant considering idiots they put up with, well worth visit

Was in there on Sunday 11th for the football final with my husband, no social distancing or masks worn by staff. Staff eating and sharing out of takeaway boxes in the bar from their kitchen. Husband has tested positive yesterday, track and trace have been informed. Disgusted.

Visited on Saturday night for the football match, Mist was very accommodating fitting us in last minute after being let down by another bar & gave us a great table in view of the television. However, each drinks order felt like an inconvenience to the bar staff. We attempted to order cocktails several times, being told there ‘wasnt enough cocktail glasses’ when we could obviously see these were fully stocked in a rack above the bar & other tables were receiving cocktail orders. Not sure if there was another reason for not serving cocktails! The bar seemed very understaffed for how busy it was, so I can understand the frustrations of managing loads of tables. Despite this, we felt that the attitude of the floor staff made our first visit very disappointing, it was a shame the staff couldnt enjoy the happy vibes of the football also!

Went on a Saturday night, they were fairly quiet. Waitress was lovely but the manager was very rude. Food was nice though so were the drinks

Been here for 2 days really kind staff and really fast service and do really nice cocktails and really good for either groups or family and friends

This place is doing really well coping in these difficult times. Very friendly, welcoming, and doing the absolute best it can in the face of a pretty rubbish government response to covid. Everything here is clean, distanced and very safe. Top marks!

Druggie bags in toilet no toilet roll bar manger attitude is disgusting think they need training in customer service 0 stars and staff need training only person worth talking to was door staff lovely bloke.

Came here on the sat night with my neighbours and a family friend the bouncer was a bit rude and sarcastic we came for a break and we was just having a laugh my husband and his friend were talking and laughing and the man on the bar came upto them and told him to be be quite like I understand theirs social distancing going on but to be spoken to like that is disgusting Which has put me off from returning to this bar again. quite clearly they were big groups of young girls etc been allowed to go in even though they said only so many can go in at once. Think they need to have a word with staff I work in a hotel myself and to speak to customers like that it’s a disgrace.

Booked a meal at the Indian just up the road so thought we’d pop for a drink as we were early for our reservation. Looked ok from the outside, nothing fancy but options were limited. Met at the door by what can only be described as a btec robocop. Voice chip did not activate til we provided our name and postcode. Tried pleasantries but he hadn’t unlocked this skill yet. Text sent we were then ready to be read our rights which were as follows. No getting up on tables ( we’re in our 40’s ) no singing, no dancing and no fuc*ing about. Yes robocop really said this to us, a couple of females out passed their bedtime 😂 If we didn’t comply we’d be thrown out! Feeling warm and fuzzy we entered the bar which had all the atmosphere of Harold Shipmans waiting room. At least the bar staff sat in the corner booth were having a good time. Sipping our gin and tonics in utter silence, a song came on that my partner starting singing along to but she quickly remembered she was breaking one of the cardinal sins and not wanting to anger robocop stopped trying to enjoy herself immediately. A group of men came in who had obviously also been subject to the same warm welcoming as us. They tiptoed into the bar with the leader of the pack whispering, “ No having fun now, no laughing, don’t have a good time” ...which ironically was the WiFi passcode. If you’re into being insulted and sworn at before even entering a bar and don’t want to have a good time this is definitely the place for you.

Do not visit this bar. Not following any covid rules. Shocking No precautions. So if u want covid. Visit this bar

The Good: - Bar decor is good and booth seating is nice. - Barmaid service was good and efficient. - Food was well presented and tasty The Bad: -No white wine, red wine or beer Morretti. The bar maid said she would need to go to the shop if we wanted any of the above. -When we entered and left the Chef was stood in the doorway smoking. I get that he might be a smoker but it doesn’t look appealing. -Music was a bit loud I won’t be rushing back but will perhaps give them one more chance to get it right.

Just called in for a mid morning coffee on a midweek winters day so not surprised we were the only customers - this place is not in the main tourist areas. Looks fairly newly done out with nice booth seating. Very pleasant staff. Drinks are a little pricey but probably in line with the type of establishment it is (I would guess mainly a young bar scene place). Piped music was a little loud but whatever - nice hot drinks in a nice place. There is a limited food menu with a 2 for 1 offer on Wednesdays.

Decided to eat out with a couple of my friends at mist tonight. Great food and great customer service. Meals were delicious and presented really well. Would highly recommend people to try the new menu here 😋

Went with my family at 6.30 on Saturday night and was made to feel most unwelcome, would not recommend!!

We went in this bar as it was fairly quiet and all the other pubs in the area were rammed. There was a choice of lagers available but no hand pulled draught beer on the day of our visit. There was also a good selection of gins. The only food available appeared to be crisps and they only came in a 150g family pack which was quite peculiar. The music had a 70s and 80s feel to it but not in a good way. Whilst there we were treated to Bo-Rap by Queen, Africa by Toto, Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics and other similar dirge. Probably won’t go back.

Its the pub with no beer, they have about 5 lagers on draught but only had carling on the day, my wife wanted some red wine but they only sell bottles? she eneded up drinking rose but that was terrible. The staff are more interested in their mobile phones than customers, this place has really gone down hill, a shame really

We wanted to eat before seeing a show at the YMCA and thought this place did food but when we popped in, there was just a few men who obviously did not want us there. One asked if he could help us and when we asked if they had food on he said they didn’t, yet on their website it says bar and grill!

This is a great little friendly bar for locals and visitors alike.

We visited on a Saturday night and it soon filled up with a smart crowd. Service was good and we went back later on !

The staff are friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. MIST is a must visit if you're coming to Scarborough. The ambience and atmosphere is lovely. During the day it's a comparison to the classier places you'd visit. Evenings on a weekend are lively and the excellent tunes and music will get you bopping.

We had visited the mist bar a couple of months ago and decided to return with friends on our works Christmas party , the bar is lively , clean and a great atmosphere .The bar staff are a friendly lively bunch and a credit to the bar ,the live music on at the bar caters for all ages and provides a great fun atmosphere providing a great fun , relaxed night .Not forgetting the two gents on the door who keep it a trouble free place to be in .we will definitely be back .

Popped in by chance Sunday afternoon to get out of rain Lovely place, fab drinks, guy behind bar who does quiz, was absolutely brilliant, he described different drinks and events there had been and up and coming events Definitely worth a visit

This is probably one of the nicest bars in Scarborough that we visited . We were a party of 12 . We probably spent a good few hours in here . Cocktails are great . They had live music on with a couple of really good bands . Comfy seating great atmosphere . Bar service a bit slow and staff were not aware who had been waiting longest . In fact that was the reason we left or would have probably stayed there a lot longer .

Great atmosphere, good music, scrumptious food, good choice of drinks and friendly service. Loved it.

Pedimos una hamburguesa comida, pero desafortunadamente tuvimos que esperar 30 minutos para que sea entregado (tardamos para recordarles de la orden). Yo no diría nada si estaba ocupado, pero no lo era y no muchas otras personas pedimos comida. A pesar de que recomendaría este lugar como un lugar de mercado para beber".

Estamos de vacaciones en Scarborough 22 julio - 27. Fuimos en el bar dos veces debe para una cena tarde. En ambas ocasiones fue excelente. La comida era fantástica. Primera vez que el cerdo desmenuzado y baguettes 2 hora, el sobresaliente. El gran perro caliente y mi hija los nachos con queso, y buscó el cerdo, salsa y crema agria. Todo fue excelente, con buenas porciones de tamaño, incluso mejor que estaba en el 2 por 10 libras.

Julian nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos, después de más de escuchar mi marido y yo a discutir el menú, estábamos buscando una buena comida vegetariana. Él nos dio varias opciones, todas ellas sería preparados con productos frescos. Elegimos quorn envuelve servido con ensalada y salsa barbacoa. Las comidas eran increíbles, había mucho, la ensalada tiene una gran variedad de ingredientes frescos y crujientes y se sirve rápidamente. Realmente era una de las mejores comidas vegetarianas que 'puede comer en un restaurante.

Hemos visitado este bar varias veces con mi familia. Siempre hemos tenido una experiencia agradable, el personal es siempre amable y servicial, y el ambiente es relajante y cómodo. La comida es de primera siempre arriba también. Sin duda volveremos. Sigan con el buen trabajo chicos!

Omg, please please do not eat here, my friend and I went for lunch today, well my good god I've never experienced anything like it in my life!! We both ordered fish and chips £8.95I use the word fish very loosely, It was clearly a battered frozen fish, it was grey, and black in colour, as soon as it arrived we knew things went right, we actually dared to taste it, but had to spit it out it was revolting. The only plus was we got a full refund no questions asked, obviously it's something they are used to doing. Highly recommend you AVOID eating here.

We were on holiday and went to Scarborough for the day. We struggled to find a bar or pub that sold Peroni on draught and came upon this little gem where we had a couple of cracking pints of Moretti. Probably the best Moretti we have had. The young chap and lady who served us were exemplary. We had our dog with us and they made him feel equally welcome. We even got a cuddle of their little chihuahua

I was thrown a surprise birthday party at mist bar. We had a wonderful night, we started the evening with a meal of tapas followed by cocktails which were lovely and then the band sang happy birthday to me which completed my evening. A great friendly bar to visit especially if you're celebrating a birthday.

Poor overpriced cocktails . Bar Staff very rude and unhelpful . Don't bother visiting this place for cocktails. Bar Staff need education in making them. No redress to complaint at point of question. Avoid avoid avoid . Better bars elsewhere .

Went in for a quick quiet drink whilst passing and really enjoyed it,especially our chat with the friendly staff!

The food tasted great, the kids nuggets n fishfingers were homemade, food as a whole tasted fantastic, drinks wern't too pricey either, kids had a choice of ice cream flavours unlike most places and although very quiet the whole place had a happy atmosphere! Staff were all happy and smiley and we will definatly be eating here again

We ate here as part of a group,food was very basic and not that nice. Cocktails and drinks are why you would go in. We ate early but I can imagain that there is a fantastic atmosphere on a evening.Wouldnt go back for food but would go back on a night put for the cocktails...

Went for lunch with 2 other friends we had the light bites menu brilliant choice food piping hot& very tasty,homemade warm pork pies&sausage rolls,so nice will definitely be back,great atmosphere not rushed at all which was great for us enjoying a girlie catchup

called in "for one" drink on Saturday, we were heading for the casino (next door), and stayed over 2 hours, what a fabulous place, great music by Julian, fabulous staff and so friendly.. Will definitely go back next time we are in Scarborough(from Leeds), can't believe we've never been in before. won't be walking past next time, that's for sure, and will check out the food next time too

Walking back to our hotel, it was pouring down so we popped in for a half way drink later on a Monday afternoon! Matt served us and made us a winter warmer coffee which was just the job! We sat on the comfy sofas and watched the world go by. Cosy and warm, relaxing drink!

My husband and I came across this bar when we were desparately finding somewhere that sold good food on a recent break in Scarborough. To be honest it was a last resort, our last hope of a decent meal. It was around 5.30 on Monday afternoon and we were hungry. Boy! It was one of the best meals we had ever had in Scarborough or most places to be honest. We both had a giant Yorkshire pudding with sausage and mash and a glass of orange and the total eas just £11! So it was amazing food and excellent value too. My hubby was so pleased he sent his compliments to the chef, something he has never done before. The staff were so friendly and attentive, without being in your face, the atmospheee was great, the music was perfect, my type of music from the 70s and 80s, and we noticed they have live music on some evenings too. It was our first visit to the Mist Bar but believe me... IT WILL NOT BE OUR LAST! This is now the only place we will eat when we go to Scarborough, whether its just for the day or an overnight stay. Brilliant bar and staff. Thank you Mist Bar for treating us so well.

Politely questioned service and the manager blue a fuse, went off from somewhere higher than Tom Daley would dare, and had me escorted from the premises. I'm more mild mannered than Clark Kent!

We enjoyed a Friday night here and were pleasantly surprised that it attracts customers of all ages. They had a DJ and music videos showing from the 70's to present day and on Saturday night they had a live band - something for everyone!

We went for food, which was excellent and great value for money. We ended up staying all evening due to the live band that was playing. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and look forward to returning.

I have been in this bar many times over the years and have always found it a pleasant experience apart from the food been awful. On this occasion it was not, due to the rudeness of the long haired young man working behind bar. I work in a environment where customer care is priority. I got the feeling he thought he could speak to me the way he did because I'd had a drink, I hasten to add I was sober so I was quiet aware of his off hand manner, and in hindsight I wish I'd just walked out. I won't be returning to Mist, there are much better bars in Scarborough.

Called in while on holiday with my family, very friendly staff, good choice of beers but, ordered some food, very poor ordered a steak medium rare, came back well done and it must have been the cheapest cut there was certainly wasn't sirloin. Burgers not up-to much, all in all good very average. It's a shame get yourselves a decent chef, tweek the menus abit you could be onto a winner, my advice call in for a beer, give the food a miss

This bar a a great, relaxed atmosphere and plays music for all age ranges, even us oldies!!Not to busy even on a Friday night, always able to get seats.

We called in on our way back from the town centre. We had not been in before so wasn't sure what to expect. A very relaxed atmosphere, people constantly coming and going. Nice decor and lighting, lovely comfy seating to one side and booths on the other

Stumbled on bar by chance, lovely place to have quiet drink,food outstanding 2 meals for a tenner deal 3pm to 7 highly recommended.

After coming out of the concert and we had been to the Casino we were looking for somewhere else to go, We heard the concert music blaring out and thought oooo sounds like an 80s after party, so we headed on in.The place was jammed packed on Saturday night and lots of fancy dress people including us from the concert.We sat in the disco area, where there is seating and also you can see the videos of the songs... Drinks were reasonable but everyone was still on a massive high from the 80s concert.So we saw Boy George, Cyndi Lauper and Adam Ant, and people were dancing the night away..Loved it here and a place we would revisit next year.

amazing service staff was polite, and chatty good selection of food they said they changing the menu next wk I was cheeky and as a member of staff was eating a curry smelt fab I asked if I could have some which worked I got some and it was lovely

The place looks lovely. Great decor, lots of different types of seating. We opted for a booth. Good choice of meals and 2 meals for a tenner on till 7pm. One member of staff working the bar and the tables, very friendly and efficient. Ordered one starter(nachos) two mains and a children's meal. Free refills on children's cordial. Staff after almost fifteen minutes came to say the mains we had ordered were not available- no problem was almost 7pm and we picked alternative meals with ease. Waited thirty odd minutes and finally the starter arrived- along with the children's meal. I stated we had ordered it as a starter! The children's meal went away to get cheese added to the burger as originally ordered and we tucked into the chicken nachos. 6 lovely chunks of chicken, melted cheese and nachos. The nachos I feel we're not worth the price although the chicken was delicious. So back out comes the kids meal, one scampi and a classic hot dog. Apologies were given that there were no chips with the hot dog but they had put some more on. Luckily my son could eat the nachos while he waited on his chips! The scampi was lovely and the portion size was generous. After what felt like ages the chef popped through with a bowl of wedges- cooked to perfection but not the chips my son was expecting. We all enjoyed our food however we could have done without the errors in our order and I am glad we were not in a rush as we did wait a while for our food. Really enjoyed our visit to the mist and would likely visit again.

This pub looks to have been recently updated, it was quite busy when we called in but plenty of seating and tables, there was a mix of people, ages etc and welcoming. We will certainly go there the next time we visit Scarborough.

First class service very friendly and welcoming marina was helpful and accommodating the pub itself is awesome and the atmosphere is welcoming will recommend to family and friends nice selection of beers and food well done to marina for first class service x

I've frequented this bar many times, with my family and friends and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the two meals for ten pounds is an extra bonus if you are on a budget. The evening atmosphere is friendly, fun and relaxed.

This is a buzzing bar with a great atmosphere, and a good meeting place. Saturday evening, quite early, got very busy and the unfortunate barman was run off his feet. Consequently, people were waiting quite a while for drinks but, fortunately, not many were ordering cocktails, otherwise he would have been struggling. Great bar, though.

Really nice bar - lovely surroundings & friendly staff. Me my husband & daughter went on sunday for lunch. The food was really lovely & homemade! Service was a little slow but at least we knew it was all fresh. Great bar would deffo return.

How this bar ever gets just 1 or 2 stars is beyond me.The staff were polite and professional and I liked that my daughter and her boyfriend were asked there age as it shows they care to have the right clientele in a relaxing bar and not under age drinkers,so make sure you have id or proof of age as they did. The doorman were polite and looked professional and each night we were in the place it had a great relaxing atmosphere and a varied age group.Me and my wife liked it also on our nights out.

Great little bar in Scarborough with a wide range of drinks and nice cocktails. Live music on at weekends which was very good. Really enjoyed my night in here.

Went in here to try the 2 for £10. Had gammon with chips & cottage pie. The food was good as was the service & the beer. We decided to stay as there was some singers on with a group later. Had a great night & returned the next two nights we stayed in Scarborough.

Went today with friends have to say was very nice food and plenty of it, staff wear great nice and friendly and very helpfu would reccomend to others and will be going again

Ordered a 'cocktail' from the bar and it wasn't great.. Charge basically the same prices as high end cocktail bars but don't match up.. Not very impressed. Other than that it's he bar was nice

A regular venue for a treat or for a special occasion. Spacious, friendly and obliging staff, delicious food and portions so generous, even in the two meals for £10.

Nice clean bar.ordered food then itwent down hill from there.waited over 40 mins for 7 meals..even when there was only us in a 1 point, bar/waitress girl got mixed up with our order but said that was our fault!! She had a bigger chip on her shoulder than i had on my plate. Iwork in hospitality and know how to behave. Food not too bad once delivered. Not great customer service

Went to Mist on Easter Saturday. Place was empty. Approx 8 people in. We decided to order food. Three other table of two people order after us. After waiting for 40 mins a table who ordered after us had their food brought out. We only ordered 2 burgers...and the place was dead. After an hour...still no food. A couple nr us had ordered too. We decided to ask for money back. There were no staff to ask....we had to argue for a refund. The young lady then had to contact a manager for a refund. She did apologise profusely and it's sods law our food was next to come out but after waiting too long we decided to cut our losses. Well done to the lady behind the bar but for food.....Mist you have failed.

we visited the mist bar for an early evening meal .The service was fast and the meals served with very attentive service.The bar was quite busy but this didnt stop the staff doing their jobs well.

I went with some friends for tea, the food was good, the surroundings are pleasant and clean, there is an outside enclosed smoking area to the rear area of the building.The downside being there is no atmosphere in this place. There was a television behind the bar programmed to a sports channel. Some background music would have been better.It is an opened plan pub with a pool table, which is off putting when you are having a meal.I probably wont go again, if you are interested in sport then maybe you would not have a problem with Tv and pool table in the room where you are having a meal.

Met some friends for a lunch time drink. Nearly empty decided to stay and eat. Wraps OK everything freshly made.Stayed chatting for a couple of hours. Max number of other people 6, I thought it strange but had not read previous reports. Can't really comment on speed of service because we were always served straight away as the bar was empty. No good if looking for atmosphere.

Firstly all I can say Is wow been here quite a few times now with friends and the food is really good value I myself love the specials I had the clucking spicy burger brilliant it was chicken was so juicy , the staff are well mannerd and very polite the bar was really clean and a huge choice of drinks overall I would definitely recommend this place really good value polite staff and brilliant food ,

Don't bother going in on a Saturday night unless you are under 30 and pretty. The arrogant ignorant bar staff will ignore you and laugh in your face when you challenge them. Won't ever be getting any of my money.

used to love this bar, went in August and it was empty on a Friday night. No beer and no glasses for Lieffe beer had to use the one I had.

One tip. Keep well away it advertises families welcome good food and a beer garden. All are lies. Food Burgers or sandwiches only. Tasteless. Beer garden I've seen bigger postage stamps. It's about 6ft square and surrounded by 4 12ft concrete walls. If you have a baby like I did keep away. They have baby changing facilities but when I asked to use them the manager said he was to busy to open them. I told him I needed to change the baby he said I can't let you in the toilets not working. I said I only want to use the pull down baby mat, he said tough I'm not opening them. So I changed the baby on the seat he then refused to dispose of the nappy, so I walked out leaving it on the floor. What was in the nappy was probably more tasty than there food anyway as it looked bland. So my advice is KEEP WELL AWAY

Me and my family went in to grab a drink and a packet of crisps to eat before visiting the ymca.The staff were rude and the service was very poor.I don't believe he has any clue what he was doing or ever heard of manors if we return to Scarborough we will certainly NOT be going to mist.

We visited mist for lunch now it's under new management. The food was exceptional, all entirely homemade, even the chips, and tasted fantastic. The staff are friendly and quick to ensure we were happy and have everything we need. Will be sure to come again

On a recent night out we decided to visit mist after hearing it was under new management we decided to have a bite to eat my friend had the loaded nachos with chicken the portion size was amazing I had a double bacon and cheese burger well when it came out I couldn't belive the size of it , it was huge couldn't even bite into it food was very good value for money and fresh . The burgers are made by a local butcher they are so juicy they also do kids meals for 3.95 including a drink and a ice cream and there not shy on portions here . We had some cocktails too wich where made in front of us using all fresh ingredients and even better when there 2 4 £10 all day everyday . Over all a brilliant bar outstanding food and great value for money would deffo recommend and I hear there about to under go a massive refit to this place is awesome

Arranged to meet family and friends for the start of our cocktails and curry night, however and even when advertised on the inside board for cocktails, we were told we couldn't have them as the person wasn't in till 8pm to make them!!We returned after our curry meal to then be told they were to busy to make them even though this time there was a board outside as well displaying them!!!Very disappointed as we could have gone somewhere else.Don't plan on having your cocktail night at The Mist Bar you will be disappointed,

I recently visited this bar . What a difference to the last time I visited. Staff were very courteous and polite. Food was exceptional for the price. Would highly recommend the burgers. Good luck to the new man at the helm and please try the food. Gorgeous

Set aside from all the rowdy pubs that we passed this wine bar was just up our street. Little booths that made it cosy, and there were a lot of couples and not lads bawling. The Bar Maid told us that it had just reopened and that they were putting more booths in in the near future. enjoyed a nice quiet drink

we when to mist there opening night we have been going to this bar for years. Never again the glass my wife had . Had lip stick on it, was the bar staff bothered no, over the years we meet there I'm talking 20/30 people at a time, we need to find some where else

We visit this bar every time we are in Scarborough which is often! We normally just have a few drinks in the early evening, the bar is relaxing with a great atmosphere. On Monday we decided to call in for lunch. We young man behind the bar was very friendly & welcoming. The food was superb. Big portions, well presented & cooked to perfection. We had the pulled pork ciabatta & philly steak baguette both served with chips and a really good side salad. Best we've had. Excellent value too. Highly recommended :)

My sreak and ale pie with Stilton was superb. My wife's fajita chicken was exceptionally yummy. Seriosly good stuff. Good service. Much better than the 3* we saw on Trip Advisor.

had a drink here before. but first time we been for a meal. good choice of food excellent value for money and we thought first class service.will defo be going back again

Mist is a bit of a chameleon, open all day and late-ish at night, changing colour at different times of day, so to speak. It's basically a bar, with cocktails, but serves hot and cold food for most of the day. Mid-morning or afternoon, you'll find a few people having drinks or grabbing an early/late lunch. Lunchtime there's usually a fair lot of mums with pre-school kids (rather noisy, this bit) eating. It's nicely decorated with a range of seating, and there's a small yard with tables out the back, where smokers tend to ensure you don't get too much fresh air. Staff can be very friendly or a bit off-hand, varying. Daytimes I could do without the big-screens running news channels and a constant loud battery of pop videos, although it's fun if you're in the mood. Evenings it's a busy bar, with dancing, occasional live music and DJ. The food is good value for money, with a decent range, vaguely Mexican-ish, from snacks (chicken-wings, great nachos, quesadillas etc) to more substantial pub grub (scampi, meat pies, burgers, salads, chili con carne etc) and daily specials. I go to Mist because it's really handy for the YMCA Theatre opposite, so when I've a show on there, or am seeing a show, I often grab lunch, have a pre-show drink, meet friends, check emails, or maybe meet up for after-show drinks, and for this Mist is perfect, and a a lot better than many of the other bars also serving food along St Thomas & St Nicholas Streets. Give it a try.

i have eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed it however, as we were walking past yesterday you can see into the beer garden there in full view was the female chef in her chefs whites (they were actually black but you know what i mean) smoking a cigarette chatting on her mobile! it's actually illegal to smoke in the uniform you prepare food in and it wasn't an e-cig! will not be returning!

Don't like giving bad reviews but.. We ordered two King Prawn tagliatelle dishes from the specials menu. Took about 1/2 hour to arrive. Not a problem but seemed a long time for such a simple dish. When it arrived the first thing I thought was they had run out of pasta. Portion size was meagre for a £7.95 meal. Pasta was cold and undercooked. Didn't have time to complain but won't be eating there again.
