Great place for family food is always good.

I am a support worker for adults with learning disabilities and we regularly take people we support for meals out to the Mickerbrook pub. The staff are always super understanding of our guys needs and challenging behaviours. We are always made to be welcomed no matter what, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s very much appreciated the welcoming atmosphere as some places struggle to accommodate our guys with their unique behaviours and challenges and we have never had any issues at the Mickerbrook. They know our guys well and are super supportive and helpful. We will continue utilising this pub as the staff are so understanding. Also very nice food and an all round lovely place to eat. Thank you very much to the staff at the Mickerbrook!

I’ve been coming here for months food is great, beautiful pints and amazing prices. Just enjoyed the breakfast buffet it’s top tier, Scott helped me today providing amazing customer service with a smile 😊 will definitely continue coming back here

Carvery was excellent, the staff were super friendly, I would highly recommend popping in her for a carvery. It was that nice I came back a couple of days later for the all you can eat breakfast.

Had a great time from start to end with my parents. Kelly gave us great service from the moment we walked in, helping us find a table sutible for us, explaining a deal with the app for the carvery, and making sure we enjoyed our time. Will definitely return.

We've been to the Micker Brook as a family on several occasions, usually for the carvery, but also for pizzas and most recently for the breakfast buffet. Food is always really nice and the service is very good. Roger was especially helpful and attentive on our recent visit.

The micker brook is always a number 1 choice for a meal with family, the atmosphere is great in the dining area, with plenty of seating away from the pub. The food options are cooked and curated amazingly, especially the stuffing and roasts, even the vegan option arrives quickly and is specially prepared keeping it perfectly hot. The home delivery option is my favourite feature, because for under £10 you can get a full hot roast dinner delivered, with a big enough portion to feed 2. Genuinely really great place and service.

I visited the pub with my wife yesterday November 17th food was lovely there was one girl working there called Taylor i noticed she never stopped working and very helpful she's a good asset to your company keep up the good work Taylor

Went for breakfast this morning, it was lovely! Roger was really attentive and accommodating for us as well.

This has just been refurbished and it exceptionally well done. Worth a visit just to see the changes. The food has improved as well! Go there and try the carvery - worth every penny.

Absolutely gorgeous carvery. I've been a few times over the years and my most recent visit (Jan 22) was the best. The staff were all friendly, the food excellent and the service couldn't be faulted. I will definitely be returning Update (Nov 24) We've been a few times over the last couple of years but not updated my review. We came for an all you can eat breakfast on Sunday morning. Roger was very attentive throughout our visit, ensuring we had everything we needed and promptly clearing away any finished plates. Great service and lovely food

Came here this morning for my mums birthday breakfast treat and the service was excellent, raja came over with a big smile on his face made sure everything was ok for us and made our morning much better

Was in today and ordered a pizza , Sadie made the best pizza I have had it was delicious!! Will be returning:) Sadie was so well mannered and so polite also the other staff too !

Food was lovely lots of vegetables available. Turkey and beef was tasty, my only concern was the vegetables was only look warn need to be refreshed regularly

Leon and Ben hosted a pizza party for 6 kids and I can not praise their effort and enthusiasm enough!!! Great value for money, great experience, amazing food and absolutely lovely, friendly hosts!!!

Order an online delivery. Meat was dry and not even a full slice of meat just the scrap bit they usually cut off at a carvery.Dry and hard. No mash despite requesting and paying for it . Really disappointed.o ly one of us managed to scrape a meal together due to the lack of carvery meat.

What a poor experience this was from start to visit my customer journey was terrible Dirty entrance Poor attitude on bar staff Poor waitress with a terrible attitude Poor quality food if I wanted frozen food I’d of ordered ice cream Dirty gravy station Cutlery dirty and upon asking for clean I got told to wipe it myself Drunken idiots walking about (how they was getting served is beyond me) Toilets filthy Tables dirty Fatty cold beef Burnt pigs in blankets Solid Yorkshire puddings Best part of my experience was leaving this this place will be posting a video onto social media to show how bad my visit was management walking around blind not caring about the business.

Excellent carvery meal, the turkey was cooked to perfection (which is rare for turkey!). Excellent service from Emma. Would thoroughly recommend.

The food was really lovely & just like home. Such a lovely atmosphere & could see it had been busy. The staff were great at keeping the place lovely & tidy. Big shout out to one of the staff Emma, she was great. Checked we had everything we needed & I could see her interacting with the kids! Big smile on her face. We will definitely come back.

Best mashed potatoes on the carvery! My first choice for a carvery in the area. The kids love their pizza. App for ordering is sometimes frustrating though. Lovely servers, Lori who delivered our desserts was friendly and helpful.

as we were sitting down there was chips under the table and bits on the seats, during my meal smoke from the smokers outside was blowing through onto our table, it was awful,,, I mentioned this to one of the staff, they couldn't care less.

Slightly rougher clientele than expected for area. Bit of trouble, handled well by staff and we wouldn't have known if they hadn't called time an hour early. Don't be put off by this honest post. Didn't try food but looked a good kitchen.

We came to the mickerbrook tonight to celebrate a family members 80th birthday and had a fabulous time. The food was amazing and the staff were brilliant big shout out to Ben, Aaron, Claire and Raja.

Been to the mickerbrook today, what excellent staff welcoming people, Michelle, Arron and George despite a hiccup with online table bookings have done an excellent job in finding space for everyone and they have done it with a smile The bar and waiting staff have been very busy and again they have all done their job with a smile 5 * for the chef and team in the kitchen, the carvery was lovely special mention to whoever did the beef it was amazing

We come in today and got seated by rodger he was absolutely amazing couldn’t ask for better service
