Just had the all day breakfast. Definitely worth the money. Would highly recommend. Served by Jess and Michelle who made the visit friendly, welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be coming again

Superb service today at our favourite home from home bar.Cocktail "wizard" Arron mixing the best ever pornstar martinis from scratch, manager extraordinaire Chris, concocting a gin extravaganza and "red hot" pizza "architect" Matt constructing the tastiest: calzone EVER. We are forever grateful. . X

We always have such a nice time whenever we visit. The food is affordable for good portions and the people are always lovely. Drinks are a little on the pricier side but I’d say over the whole experience it evens out.

Highly recommend if you are gluten free and wanting a Sunday lunch they were brilliant, they took the allergy seriously and the carvery was delicious. The pizzas (no gluten free option) were freshly made and the portion sizes are amazing.

Brilliant carvery, considering most the carveries around have closed we thought we'd try here, it was genuinely great! Jess and Raja were so accommodating considering we hadn't booked

Food is always good on the carvery but need to have some red cabbage on there to take it up a notch. Lori who served us was really nice and made a belting pint.

I booked a table for my sons birthday. I was given a table next to an open door and a kids grab machine. I said this table wasn't suitable for my family and although the place was half empty I was told all the other tables were booked for 6pm. It was 4.30 pm so to be told this was laughable. They had tables for 6 with just 2 people on. The front of house management were rude and didn't have a clue they told me I had to take that table and that was it. I've never been treated like that by hospitality in my life. I complained but didn't receive an apology. Obviously the complaint went to the same people.

Had a meal after our daughters wedding in the function room.Approx 30 people .Set us up a top table.Good selection of meals ,value for money.A big shout out to Christian who looked after us.Would definitely recommend.

One of the best breakfast I’ve had in ages apart from black pudding was chewy. Lori at the bar was very friendly and Emma the waitress gave amazing service.

Called in for breakfast and was not disappointed, got a warm and friendly welcome from the lady that served us at the bar. There was a few people in but was many tables available went up for our breakfast only one person in front and the lady looking after the food area was friendly and helpful we tried a bit of everything and enjoyed it all food was hot and fresh not dried up like most buffet breakfast places. We was served by Lori a lovely lady we will definitely be back

Friendly and welcoming place to come and eat. Raja was really helpful with everything and he was attentive without being overbearing. This was perfect for what I needed, which is why it gets five stars.

We have been using the mickerbrook for many years and have always been satisfied with the food, however the last few occasions have left us unsatisfied due the carvers carving the meat wafer thin living it tasteless and pitiful I would be happy to pay more for a satisfactory amount of meat.

Food was nice. Although the pork looked like it had been stood a while. So I had the turkey and beef. Beef was amazing. The service was very efficient. Ordered from our table and the were on the ball. Thank you Mitchel was always smiling

Asked for an isolated table as I had two people in my party that has autism,,,, they did that for me It was one of my sons 21st birthday meal , and I have to say it was fully enjoyable We had a table of 9 we all had different meals to each other We had a child’s pizza meal which he loved! And watched the staff making them We had a couple of pizzas , a few different burgers and a few carverys All reasonably priced and got pizzas half price on a Tuesday Staff engaged with my children , they was all so nice Many thanks for a lovely evening

Great selection of beers and the food was awesome great service from the young lady behind the bar I think her names lori greeted with a smile on her face and her welcoming presence exceeded beyond great. Will definitely be coming back.
