The Mexi Co. in Bromsgrove

My favourite place to order for a local take away! Great flavours, lots of options, big portions. Always hot. Absolutley delish.

BEWARE! Food is expensive, portion sizes are small, and customer service is APPALLING. I ordered the Roasted Vegetables "Box" meal. With extra Black beans, Jalapeño's and Red onion (didn't order rice as I wanted a low carb meal, and didn't order Lettuce as I don't like warm, soggy salad). I was very surprised to find that my box of vegetables, for £10, was only half a box of food. After ringing to express my disappointment at the portion size, I was told that it was my fault for choosing not to have rice. My argument was, "I've just paid £10 for a box of food. It should be my choice not to include the "optional" rice, without it impacting on the quality or quantity of my meal. " The reply was, "we will have to agree to disagree. I you don't want to use us again, so be it!" This sort of confrontational, defensive attitude is exactly what drives away custom. GOODBYE, MEXI CO. You do yourselves a disservice ☹️.

Second time of eating, first review. Again a very filling and excellent value meal. Had burrito first time and box second time - with extra chicken. Enough for two meals for me! Time slot given on booking of 19:20 or ASAP. Fresh hot food was delivered 25 mins earlier than predicted, which was ace.

We are so lucky to have this around the corner from us, I LOVE the veggie burritos and cheesy chips - Not forgetting Churros to finish 😛 The team are amazing, and hard working - thank you for your amazing food!

Terrible ordered food they took money it was still taken and they Say they can’t deliver now as no drivers but will take a couple of days for refund the owner was very rude to me

After toying over what takeaway to get on a sat night, the usual Chinese and pizza just not cutting it, me and my partner stumbled across The Mexi Co. And thought why not! We love Mexican food and didn't even realise there was an option for one in Bromsgrove... We both ordered the naked shredded beef burrito box.. Went for large... Regular would have sufficed as there was soooo much but it was absolutely beautiful.. Fresh ingredients, tasty flavours and filled to the brim.. Great value for money too!!!..... P. S. The churros and dulche de leche doughnuts were to die for! Some of the best I've had outside of Mexico! Definitely recommend and will absolutely be a regular here in the future! Nom nom!!

Tonight we took my mum out for her Birthday as it’s her birthday during lock down. We went to waz’s which is next door but one & is amazing by the way. My Dad is disabled & has a blue badge so we parked directly outside the restaurant on a very wide path. The rudest little runt who is apparently the delivery driver for the Mexi co started kicking off at the manger at waz’s threatening to key my partners car and ranting to the point that we had to call the police. Her issue was because she had to walk up & down a very short distance when my dad is disabled. I don’t know her name but avoid at all costs if I was you it’s like she just stepped out out the Jeremy Kyle show, she needs to crawl back under the rock she came out from!

The most pathetic Mexican I’ve eaten in my life. My girlfriend & I religiously eat out 3 times a week at a variety of restaurants around Worcestershire / Birmingham. I had a burrito which was more like a wet sloppy fajita. I asked for Mexican rice and got plain rice, I had about 4 kidney beans, the beef was chewy & chicken was flavourless. Absolutely shocking. Our Nachos were freezing cold, they have clearly just dumped freezing cold salsa with no care on top of a messy small portion. (NO CARE) Churros - £6 for 6. (Size of a small finger) Absolute robbery. avoid eating here

Meat could have more flavour to it, however lovely staff and lovely food over all. Big portions, definitely worth the money

Have eaten here a fair number of times now and have had food delivered and been in to ‘select and collect’. Each time the food has been lovely and the portions are a decent size! We decided to use Uber eats this time and there was an issue with the app, called the store and Ben sorted my order really quickly for us and the food was delivered in 15 minutes, really happy with how quickly the minor issue was sorted. Thanks again!

Absolute ****. Completely flawed ordering system creating confusion and dropping items off of what we selected, food was stone cold when received after NEARLY TWO HOURS OF WAITING (we actually had to go and collect instead because it took so long). Rude on the phone and completely overpriced for what you get. The one thing that has led me to even write the review however is all 5 of us suffering from a poorly stomach the next day due to the food.Appalling food and even worse service.Would DEFINITELY not recommend and will be telling others in the future not to come here, if I could give less than one star I most certainly would. The logo is nice and the name is catchy though...

The lads that run this establishment, are polite and professional. Great food, could be a tad spicier, but that's just me. Food always cooked and served beautifully. Establishment always clean and welcoming. Deffo would recommend.

The guy behind the counter tonight was lovely, he seemed welcoming and friendly, even though he appeared to be very busy he still made time to interact with the customers. And the food was great too!

Mix up with delivery tonight. Us and neighbours ordered at the same time and orders got mixed. They way that Mexi Co dealt with it was perfect Cperfectperfectperfect.Thanks

After seeing food from here delivered to my neighbours on more than one occasion I’ve been keen to give them a try!Maybe I didn’t order the right dish, but with meat rice and sauces I’m struggling to envisage it getting better if I ordered again...The “slow cooked in marinade” brisket beef which had no sauce or spicing which with the type of rice leads me to believe it’s all come out of a packet, warmed up...and they’ve forgot to add the flavour sachet!I ordered a Beef “box” to which you add extras, which resembled airplane food...Was really looking forward to the “Dirty Fries” which were badged as “Skin on Fries” but we’re nothing more than you’d get from the kebab house!Very disappointing considering all of the other positive reviews!Add in that it took an hour to arrive midweek and luke warm .... doubt I’ll be re-ordering.

We have had a number of burritos from here, both in the restaurant and delivered to home. The food is really tasty and fresh - the flavours in the burrito are just right, and there's plenty of personalisation so you can get the ingredients you want. Would recommend to anyone who loves a burrito! The churros are also delicious.

Ordered a takeaway this evening, came at the time it said, amazing meal once again!!!! Not had a bad meal from here yet!!! Great service, great food!!!

The staff are lovely and so is their food! Have a great menu that caters to vegetarians well. I keep going back again and again!

Was stopping overnight in bromsgrove spotted mexi co decide order for delivery on the website received a phone call of them saying all we had only the chicken for the one box beef for the other basically no salad or rice in which he sorted this out for us.in the long short excellent service fantastic food full of fantastic flavours would use again if they deliver to redditch

Food was very flavoursome and an inexpensive delivery cost to accompany it. The food did take an hour to be delivered although we live less than a mile away. Once it arrives the food wasn't particularly warm which would be my only criticism.Would use again but I would probably collect next time!

I have ordered from this restaurant on several occasions, all of which have been superb. The coleslaw is to die for! The staff are wonderful and the order is always perfect. I cannot praise this shop enough.

Fantastic Mexican take away/ or eat In (Burritos, Tacos etc). A great addition to the choice of food in Bromsgrove. Great food, great service, reasonably priced, and great decor/ ambience if you decide to eat in. 10/10

Food was ok, nothing was particularly warm, and water seems to gather at the bottom of the rice boxes if you have any salad. Not very tasty or memorable, wouldn't eat here again. Nachos are an odd (blue) colour which isn't appetising.

We had a large and regular burrito fries and Nachos with everything as first visit - far too much food (and we can eat) enjoyed what we had had to wait 45 mins but expected that, will be using again

We decided to try the food from here, as we both love Mexican food. I really wanted it to be a great experience so my hopes were high after reading some reviews, mostly positive.

First time we have used The Mexi Co. We looked online as it shows you can used Just eat (in my eyes just eat is crap) which turned us off as had bad experiences previously. We read the reviews and they showed they have an app. Well i must say its brilliant, easy to navigate and simple to use. I would use it everytime. It gave me a collection time, went down and my order was ready.

The food and service are first class. Ingredients are made from scratch on site. The place has a few tables and chairs for you to eat in. You can have options of pulled beef, pork, bbq chicken and a veggie option. These guys have brought something new and interesting to Bromsgrove so please go and support them.

Only place for Mexican food in bromsgrove, really good food! Burrito was filled well, not charged for simple things like cheese or sour cream. Extra for Guacamole but that’s understandable.

First time visit last night. Warm welcome. Spotlessly clean. Quick service. Very tasty Burrito. Good luck guys. See you again soon

The Mexi Co was a really nice experience with good food, service and decor. My friend had been recommending it to me for some time and it did not disappoint. We were welcomed by warm friendly staff and shown what foods were available. Bromsgrove does have a range of nice restaurants, however, there are no real good places to pick up food on the go, excluding chains which can get quite boring. This is a nice addition to the high street where you can have something with a more exotic flavour. They marinate their meats for hours which gives them rich tasteful flavours. The food preparation area was immaculate and we could see how the food was made which is a nice addition to the service. The decor was simple but did its job well and overall I would recommend anyone to try.
