Original Cottage in Bromsgrove

Food use to be great. Always had the tandoori tika in naan. Had it a few times the last few weeks and the naan has been rock hard. And there's less chicken and is now a pound more.

Not the first time this has happened over 2 hour wait called the takeaway said technical fault! Spoke to them 3 times and said the food will be delivered lost my appetite my then. Food was cold and horrible never again....avoid these cowboys !!!

Never had an issue with my order before but today I ordered XL pizzas and one of them was solid the base was awful on the bbq chicken

Twice now I've ordered slushies and both times have been fully melted on delivery, the last order I even put it in the notes to make sure it's not melted but still didn't deliver on that, also I ordered extra hot chicken and it was as spicy as porridge. Gone down hill majorly just avoid, lazy.

Best Peri Peri food in the area. The extra spicy option is divine. For non spice lovers - Plain does the job just as good. Chicken and rice as good as Pepe's but the portions are larger and the price better. Highly recommend.

Took ages for the food to be delivered and when it was finally delivered the food was freezing cold and hard like cardboard, the man delivering it had terrible hygiene car was filthy and smelt very strong of body odour very off putting when delivering food, terrible service and not happy

Today I ordered some bubble tea and they asked for my number so I proceeded to give it to them and they confirmed my order would be 30 minutes.we waited for 1 hour and called the shop . Yes it’s a Sunday but on the website it says it’s open 12am-12pm so we asked for our order and he was being very very rude over the phone . I would recommend some food but to order online OR in shop because some staff are blatantly rude.

I paid £30 for some coal. Even my dog ​​didn't eat it.

Let me start off by saying I never leave reviews good or bad, this place has been my favourite place of takeaway for a long time I've always advertised it to people I know on how good the food is regardless of the heavy pricing some people may feel. but today I ordered food and I know it was only 1 kebab this time so small order but I honestly believe it was made from last night's left overs, I paid 8£ for half a portion of possibly the worst food I've eaten in a long time. really disappointed.

I ordered to collect and drove 30 mins there and 30 mins back on a Saturday to find 5 wings missing and no chicken tikka I called the restaurant and they were rude and unhelpful and said tge manager will call me back 3 days later and several calls later I heard nothing. On Tuesday o called and was told I was a liar. Never go there again disgraceful service

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is a disgrace sending orders with half the food missing. Manager had no interest and even called us liars! Absolutely disgusting service and food wasn’t that great for the price either. Avoid!!!

Very Tasty chicken tikka naan meal delivered warm and on time.

Pre-ordered through just eat for delivery at 7.30pm, the app updated to tell me to enjoy my food at 7.40pm...but we had no food to enjoy! Driver finally turned up at 7.50pm. We order from Original Cottage all the time and although the quality of the food is great on this occasion the delivery was very poor.

Chips were on the cold side. The pizza do not get the hot dog crust the sausages were vile tasted almost sweet and the pepperoni was burnt

Third time delivery has been well over an hour. Food is excellent but delivery time is too long.

The large vegetation pizza was over cooked and really hard. The base was so hard and crunchy, it hurt my mouth to eat. Such a shame as, they are usually nice.

Used to be really nice like 4/6 year ago but has gone down hill since the new faces have been running it in last year or so. Orders tonight came wrong asked for a hot peri wrap meal with lettuce and mayo but came as crispy chicken with onion etc and other meal came with peri rice when asked for peri fries. Will be finding a new Peri place I think.

Last two orders have been late but food was delicious as always. Delivery driver was very apologetic and nice though.

I can't speak for their food, but they need to check who is delivering their takeaway leaflets, I don't expect to come home and see my garden littered with leaflets from this establishment and check my doorbell camera to see a leaflet distributor throwing leaflets on my property as opposed to delivering them properly.

Used to be good, last two orders have been disgusting. Hard rubber chicken and pizza with toppings that taste gone off and foul, how do you expect anyone to eat this. Told to ring up and speak to manager but I'm ill and really am not in the mood to argue over a pizza. I dont want my next meal free or any discount, just refund for the pizza that was inedible, they're not interested. Lost a customer.

Been ordering from here for years but I definitely won’t be ordering again I had to put my chicken back in the air fryer as it was as pale as anything not grilled how it’s used to be it was just quick and rushed I also ended up with a different dessert to what I ordered 🙄

"Premium" Cheesecakes came frozen and tasted stale. Couldn't eat them. Did not taste like cheesecake at all. 3 portions cost nearly £15 and most went in the bin. Was going to call and complain but given the reviews here I don't think it would get very far.

THEY ROBBED ME OF MY MONEY AND DISRESPECTED ME,DRIVER ON PHONE WAS RUDE AND SO WAS PHONE STAFF, I ordered from here put in description don’t buzz when here, when driver gets here he rings my number gets no answer (number must of had no service at the time as he claims he rang but I had no missed calls) he then decides to drive back to the restaurant rather than knocking to drop the food I paid for then when I call to see where my food is they say they’ve already came an they are not coming back unless I pay them more cash to drop it back I said I don’t have it cash they said they aren’t dropping it back then and that he finishes work at 12 and has a family to get back to like that has anything to do with my food(it was like 12:15), he was extremely rude and best believe you couldn’t speak to me like that and take £20 out my pocket face to face you dirty tea leaf
