The Metro Bar and Bistro in Birmingham

One of my favourite places to visit for a nice cup of tea and in the summer they put all the tables outside. The volunteers are very friendly and the residents make you welcome too. There is also a place for the kids to play with a toy box provided with items they can play with.

Whether you're on your own or with family and friends the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's my number one destination for coffee. I haven't found anywhere that can beat Chef Karen's fish and chips on Fridays. I've tried everything from breakfast to special dining events and have never been disappointed. I recently had my husband's wake here - it was perfect with delicious freshly made food at a very reasonable price. Everyone enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend.

No parking near by so difficult to get to when disabled and expensive.

Lovely place to live ..not too impressed with the restaurant..won't be going again..
