Halloumi starter is amazing, I would have ordered 5 servings of it if my nan would have let me XD

They say you cannot have too much of a good thing. Well, maybe you can. The food here was superb. It was light and tasty and what at first glance seemed smallish portions did in fact fill each of us to our brim. We had a variety from the menu but were all in agreement that the meatballs and pasta dishes were the best ever. A great atmosphere where we celebrated to the full.

Went for birthday lunch for the missus. The food was amazing, fresh, freshly cooked and served without much delay. Attentive and pleasant service without being obtrusive. Great value for money and a really nice place to go. Will be back again, many thanks.

Lovely meal here last night. Veggie stew with extra tasty rice and garlic bread, pinot grigio and a gorgeous tiramisu. Always have good service, too!

Massive plates of food, reasonably priced.

We booked for Christmas lunch with family .. we found the dinner very poor the roast potato’s were not roasted they were baby mini potato’s lightly fried , the carrots were tinned baby carrots, the stuffing was inedible ..as a Christmas lunch there was nothing special with the food at all we were very dissapointed .. we had ate our 3 course dinner within the hour.. the staff were friendly .. I have eaten in this restaurant often and have enjoyed it everytime but for Christmas dinner the food was pre prepared and poor quality .. £400 for family of 5 I would not dine here again .

Brilliant Christmas Day dinner, (not roast dinner) food was delicious, service was fantastic. The young woman waitress did a great job up and down the stairs to serve the meals. Couldn’t of wished for a better time. Thanks to all.

What a brilliant restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is perfect and the atmosphere is spot on. We booked a table of ten for my wife’s birthday and the team made such an effort to make her celebration special. Ali let us drop the cake and balloons off in the daytime and the table was set, when we arrived. They also brought the cake out to music and the chefs joined the front of house team to sing happy birthday. A wonderful experience and I look forward to our next visit.

Wasn't too busy but service was excellent and well timed checking on drinks offerings etc. Starters and mains were lovely, as was the Efes! Dessert was average but overall a really nice night, great service, great food!

Went here for my birthday present off my grandson. Very welcoming staff, great choice of menu, food was perfectly cooked and delicious! Good drinks menu too! Attentive staff and finished off with a French coffee like none I've had for many years! A great place great atmosphere and great staff.

Really didnt expect to experience such excellent authentic food, friendly and attentive service hidden away in Bebington and at a very reasonable price. Quite a find.

Great choice of food, welcoming staff, and quick service

Tried the lamb kofta and it was delicious. The best kofta I’ve had in a while. The meat was soft, moist, very flavourful and the tomato sauce was incredible — it pairs well with the dish. My boyfriend is coeliac and there was only one gluten free dessert option, but we were not disappointed when we tried the meringue it was good! Great atmosphere overall and staff were friendly and accommodating.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and have recommended to others. I will definitely be going back without a doubt

Ordered via Uber Eats at 5:45pm on a Friday night, still no food delivered at 8:30pm, despite calling 3 times and being told it was on its way. Ordered was then cancelled and received no apology.

Tasty vegetarian meal. Friendly service. I found it a bit difficult to hear conversations with fellow diners, but there were 8 of us which didn't help. I want to try the stuffed aubergine next time I visit.

Birthday meal with family - great location good was excellent quality and good value.

We had a large family birthday here and everyone had a good time. The restaurant catered really well for a large group and everyone loved the food. A great evening in a lovely atmosphere.

The foods good but the drinks are way overpriced. 9.00 for a premixed Pina Colada is way too much. Service is great overall.

My grandparents are Mediterranean food lovers so I suggested we try the food here. We popped in Sunday lunchtime and it was quiet so I can't really say much regarding the atmosphere, but the waiter was lovely and attentive. The food was extremely delicious, two of us had the lamb chops and my grandad (big meat lover) said they were the best he's had in years. I had the halloumi kebab and it was really delicious, the rice was SO tasty, everything was just really flavourful and well cooked. My grandma had the vegetarian karniyarik and she said it was beautiful. Highly recommend!!

I ordered 3 chicken kebabs from here to only see my chicken was actually raw and very pink rang the place up and told them and they asked if we wanted a new order sent out when why would I order another one after receiving something so disgusting anyway they laughed down phone and buttoned us mintiest restaurant me mates got a proper upset stomach this morning, I’ve ordered from here before won’t be ordering again

We have ordered here many times and it has been spot on, but last night we paid £63 for 4 sides and 2 mains, 2 of the sides didn't turn up so that wasn't great. And the sides that did turn up. To be honest were a joke, 2 tiny rings of calimari and 2 slices of haloumi. (It was like a slice of cheese). The mains were the same quite stingy. Normally have roasted veg and salad. Compared to the previous times we have eaten here it was disappointing and no effort was put into it. And uber eats won't entertain refunding the missing items. So that's why the review was put up

Food was lovely, had the meze and mixed meat platter. Both were delicious.

Last minute decision based on suggestions from daughters friends. Mid week and it was comfortably busy. Service excellent and staff lovely. Food was amazing, hit and very tasty, all five meals were thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

Came here for my sisters birthday, it was early on a weekday so relatively quiet. Food was amazing. Staff where friendly and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Cocktails also lovely. Can't fault the place. I even smashed a glass with my jacket(accidentally of course) on the way out and the staff where nothing but lovely.

Visited this restaurant at lunchtime today. Ossy and his staff were friendly and made us very welcome. The food was delicious and hot even though there were seven family members. A few of us ordered the lamb chops, which were crispy and very tasty, just how we like them. Another family member ordered the sirloin steak, which he said was very tasty. The desserts were all delicious, including the rich chocolate pudding, honeycomb cheesecake, tiramisu and baklava. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

The meals where absolutely lovely, hot and delicious, service was excellent.

Only people seated upstairs, so little atmosphere. Staff not knowledgeable about dishes...further training needed. Description of rice needs editing as came with chickpeas in.

This was our first time here recommended by my sister and the food was amazing. As a regular Mediterranean holidaymaker I found the flavours took me back to those days. Neil and the rest of the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Will return to enjoy the food and ambience again.

Having heard a lot of good things about this place my partner and I decided to visit. The food was decent enough. My starter, tbh, wasn't as good as other places but I put that down to poor choice. The monkfish and prawn kebab only had 3 peices of monkfish and was quite expensive. We spoke to a lady who had issues with the bill. The restaurant automatically give and charge for doubles for any spirits ordered and this had been challenged. Something to watch there. We may go back but, tbh, there are cheaper restaurants that offer better.

First of all, my family have been loyal customers of Mediterranean Kitchen for a number of years now. We love the food. Placed a telephone order tonight for collection. My dad went to collect the food for me and was charged £14 more than normal. He rung me to check whether this was right and had we ordered anything different. We hadn’t. I told him to hang fire and I rang the restaurant and queried the £14 increase on our usual order. I was told “prices have gone up”. No effort was made to clarify whether my order was correct or not. When my dad arrived at my house (Wallasey), the order was incorrect. I rang the restaurant immediately and stated how disgruntled I was that I was going to have to now travel back to Bebington from Wallasey to correct their mistake. The apology was meek to say the least and I was told to “keep the food that’s wrong”. I explained that I did not want any food I didn’t order and that I would rather be refunded for this shambles. There was a pause and “OK?” I arrived at the restaurant as I didn’t want my dad to have to go back again. I reiterated the major inconvenience of this and that this was now a 24 mile round trip and 1 hour and 20 minutes out of our evening. Again, the apology was meek. I got the sense the gentleman I dealt with could not care less. To my horror, I was given £15 back. The order came to £37. It’s normally £23. Meaning that after all of this, I ended up paying nearly the exact same price that I was always pay. I was not compensated in any way for their careless mistake and the inconvenience it caused me and my dad. I am wholly disgusted and can only conclude that this establishment actually could not care less about customer experience. I will never visit again.

Friday night visit, we couldn't get through on the phone to put our booking an hour later than booked but welcomed late anyway. Staff friendly, food fantastic. Great feeling when in there. I tried the moussaka which was so lovely, and the pink gin and lemonade gorgeous. Only let down for me personally, was how close they sat us to another two tables, when the rest of the restaurant was pretty empty. Just took the Romance away a little. But will definately be back.
