Have been meaning to try here for takeaway lunch as been told good from my brother and someone else just the other day. unfortunately it was a bit of a let down purely as the very tiny portion of meat i got. Dont get me wrong it was quite tasty but can only give it 3 stars as there was 1 small slice of meat and a half slice. Had high expectations (Shame0

Heading towards Greggs I changed my mind and decided to support a local small business. Best choice of 2022 I got a bacon and mushroom breakfast sandwich and it was flawless. By far the best I’ve ever had. No stringy, cheap, chew bacon just top quality bacon cooked to perfection with fresh mushrooms in a beautifully fresh bun. This was my first visit and I’ll 100% be back as the food and service was next level. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Best Sunday Lunch Takeaway Ever!! 1 x large mixed meat lunch with extra Yorkshire and 1 x chicken shared between 2 kids...with plenty left over for tomorrow’s tea! Service was super quick. Staff were very polite, friendly & professional. Can’t whack the costs either! 100% recommend & definitely be back again! Thank you soo much 😍😁👍🏽

Tasty sunday dinner,lovely veg and gravy the meat a little tough might be better to do in slow cooker and wrong dessert arrived however it was nice and we were happy with what we ordered. Good value for money and was delivered in time to Ashington. Thanks

Just bought probably the worst 2 sandwiches i have ever bought. Been here b4 and sandwiches were excellent, but today 22nd Sept was a different story. Ordered bacon, egg and fried onion....bacon, mushroom and fried onion. Bacon was half cooked and all fat, fried onions were raw and fried egg was half raw. As you might of guessed, most of it went in the bin. Need to up your game guys. Plenty of other local businesses that serve better....

I come to this cafe for breakfast on a fairly regular basis and it is wonderfully consistent with its friendliness and good, basic casual food. It serves a good range of breakfast dishes and other home-prepared meals throughout the day including lunch specials. Prices are very reasonable indeed. It is a pleasant, small restaurant with a number of pavement tables which are just great in warm weather. Overall I would say that it is excellent value for money and a warm welcome.

We have bought a Sunday lunch takeaway a few times. They have always been high quality home cooked food and excellent value for money. Service was very efficient fast and friendly. Well done.

Becoming a regular now. This time hubby had the mixed meets,I had the chicken. Roast potatoes were so crispy,mash was smooth and creamy,lots of seasonal veg,stuffing balls, huge Yorkshire puddings. Very tasty gravy,you cannot make it at home for the price they charge. 2 very happy customers,so much food there was enough for the dog to have his own bowl full. Excellent value for money. £10.90 for 2.

I have eaten here early in the morning on several occasions and have always been served with a smile. The place has a friendly, welcoming casual atmosphere. It has a few outside tables as well as indoors. They serve a good range of breakfasts including full breakfasts, sandwiches/buns and a range of hot meals during the day which include home made casseroles, pies etc. Coffee is good and prices very reasonable indeed.
