Fab As always and the sun was out

My local since 1985. No better place to sit out and watch the world pass by in the summer. Always a great pint and reasonable prices. Staff always friendly

Been drinking here for approx 40 years so I must like the place, nice outside area when sun is shining, and big screen for watching sport, does get very busy at times.

My go-to place for a beer. Always a friendly crowd of locals and tourists. Great views of the front what ever the weather. Excellent place to watch a winter storm at high tide!! Or relax in the beer garden on a nice sunny day

Friendly very quick service and caring wonderful place to relax

Not bad beer. No food served so we went to the chippy up the road and carried on drinking. £40 for 2 rounds of drinks only to be told that we can't eat food from elsewhere, despite the fact they don't serve food.

Very nice but drinks a bit pricey

Quick service, a nice ale and a new cider for she who must obeyed, plus cheese and onion and ham rolls behind the bar, not many pubs doing that now. Always call in when we're down Porthcawl.

Enjoyed a great gig by Outback. This pub was my regular watering hole every friday in the late 1980s, its only changed a bit (don't worry it has been redecorated!)

First time here. Back on The Guinness after sometime. And what a pint. No rush from the barman to pour it (rightly), 3/4s, leave to settle, then finish. Great pint, and the weather still good enough to sit outside to sink it. My mate had a pint of Worthy, which was excellent too. We'll be back 👍🤓

Sunday afternoon. Fairly quiet. Rock band on Friday night's. Staff were not very friendly but played few games of pool.

Only visiting as work in this area seems that you have to be local for reasonable table service during lock downs sure ok normally

Favourite place to sit in the sun

Loved it. Drinks reasonably priced. Friendly staff and clienteles.

It has a long frontage facing the sea and gets its fair share of the sun as such it makes it a popular venue, inside I feel lacks any atmosphere. Two TV's showing cricket/horse racing. One ale Sharp's Doombar. Staff friendly enough.

Really good place to watch live sports. A lot of TV's and pool tables to play on. Have live music and is in a great location right on the waterfront with a variety of shops near by. Prices are reasonable with a good selection of alcohol

Nice seafront bar, very friendly.

The marine bar is a great place to go for a quiet drink or a night out even! It's exceptionally clean and modern inside with pool tables and even a machine that can charge your phone or Vape pen for half an hour for £1! The bar is also dog friendly:) The staff are friendly and welcoming which makes your visit even better. Outside they have benches which is a sun trap when it's lovely weather with a sea front view which is right opposite the bar! At night starting from 9:00 pm they have a live band which is great entertainment for a night out so I would recommend anyone and everyone to go to the marine bar because its a great place just to even pop in for one drink even, it's even better when the sun is blasting and your sitting outside with your cold drink watching the cars and people with dogs walking past with your sunglasses on, flood to the marine bar in the sunshine or even when it's a rainy day its lovely inside!

Great place to go for a game of pool, and a drink! The juke box needs updating with chart music however a clean comfortable establishment in the heart of porthcawl.

Marine bar, One of the most popular bars especially on a sunny day with people sitting outside. Bar staff always friendly and polite ,nice pleasant atmosphere and spotlessly clean,we love it there.

Great place as I've been coming here a long time, especially more so in the summer sitting outside with a nice cold pint of cider overlooking the sea it's fab. If you like entertainment they have live music or if your into sport you can watch all the best games. They also own the pub next door if you fancy a bite too eat or also they do functions. They also have rooms to rent out. Great location, great vibe.

Very good prices on drinks especially on Saturday when they have special deals on, a few weeks ago it was bottles of Rekorderlig for just £2.50. Another big plus for us is that it's a dog friendly pub.
