Good selection of arcade games but prizes were a bit expensive

Had a nice coffee,watched the sun go down.

Wouldn't stay here again. Facilities are completely disgusting. Not enough toilets and showers and what they do have are vile. We stayed in the bowl 3 portaloos which was disgusting. Grass was ridiculously long too. Great location for beach though and hi tide bar decent music hence 2 stars for that.

Great little seaside venue. There's a huge car park, just a stones throw away. Food and drinks available, indoor or outdoor seating and reasonably priced.

Rainy days by the sea side can only mean arcade time, all the favorite slots and games to keep little one occupied, upstairs is for the older children pool and bowling alley. Fab way to spend money.

nice place right on the beach front, prices are ridiculous as you would expect food is ok nothing special. car park right next to the Hi tide but normally charges, also they have a caravan and motorhome site next to the car park, but again nothing to sing and dance about as it needs some money spent on tidying up the place and put proper toilets in instead of pota cabin toilets as these toilets are by far the worst we have seen and the electric trip's out constantly so if you intend to stay in your caravan or motorhome be aware of these issues.

I came there today was a lovely clean place staff was helpful aswell. But food was disappointing as I found a hair on my panni so put me off my food abit

Love this place, a classic seaside arcade.

Guiness varies from good to very good. Occasionally, it's not poured correctly. Shame, because when the Guinness is very good I have to have another.

Food is amazing. Good service. Dog friendly.

Needs a good makeover looks a lot run down and thy just need to sort out who thy let in no security only thing going for them it's close too the beach.

Went to see the porthcawl waterfront exhibition. Clean, tidy and welcoming.

It's alright. Geared towards getting as much money out of you as possible. All card machines charge for using them, other arcades have change machines with tap for change, and they don't charge. Tickets are a scam system. If you're extremely lucky, you might win a jackpot of 500 tickets and get a cheap toy. Fine if you go there knowing you're paying a premium for "fun."

Brilliant always love bringing my kids here when they was little a d now its our granddaughter turn to have the experience. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. Plus the cafe staff we have a fun with too.

Great place to stop off for a drink and take in the sea views, but bet it gets busy in the summer...

The hide tide is really good only thing is that somtimes I spend £5 and get like 50p or £1 worth of stuff🤣

It is surprisingly big with many rooms for different sized functions. A great place for parties and celebrations. Friendly staff on hand to help.

Excellent position with indoor and outdoor seating, overlooking the beach and picturesque lighthouse and Quay. Food very good value for money and staff very helpful and polite, car park available but didn't use.

Went for Elvis festival, fabulous afternoon, great entertainment. 🎶🎶

Tables too close together. Struggled to get past all the pushchairs. Food expensive for what you get. The place is in a fairly good location and had a good function room if you needed it.

Well situated on the seafront and close to town and entertainment. Facilities are at one end of a longish site so can be a trek from some parts. Facilities did get a bit dirty and some cleaning was not as good as could be but that was due in part to the sandy location and the visitors.

Lovely beach, mostly quiet but it's the best one in that area in my opinion. Stunning views, sand is golden and it has lots of shops nearby. Some lovely restaurants too.

Very loud, noisy from music and slot machines, very busy. Entertainment sounded good, but very loud. Need more staff cleaning and clearing tables in the bar. Toilets need cleaning more often too. If you love loud music and amusement arcades this is the place for you!

toilets especially the male's are stinking, my husband had to go back to our caravan to use the lol, he said the floor was flooded with urine.

love the arcades always brought the kids here then chippy after. upstairs is closed at the mo which is a shame as the mini bowling was fun when it worked

Very nice atmosphere, lovely food, But' disappointing on this occasion top of lasagne was burnt, hidden by cheese, complained but response from young bar lad, SORRY ill tell the cheff. No offer of exchange or money off bill. Disappointing on this one occasion.

Staff were friendly, service was reasonably quick. The food was good. The tables were clean, which, for me, shows a good level of staff effort. Would go again.

I sent an email to them asking about the Sunday Carvery. I emailed on the Thursday, it took nearly a week to respond. By this time, I was already back from my holiday. I'm glad I didn't dine here with my family, if they can't be bothered to reply to an email, they have proven customer service is not of a high standard. The food could be amazing, the custom service is poor!

Great place to take the grandkids,bag of 2pences and a selection of pushers in the arcade keeps em entertained ,ice cream hub next door.bar for adults to have a drink,with seating outside also on seafront so great for taking the kids.

Fair rides great, and for 10 pound a wristband I thought was good value for money, family fun occasion, which we all enjoyed.

From Mon 22/7 lunchtime visit. It's to be marked positive in access to the beaches. Went in for food had tuna and red onion panini served with crisps . Wait time was low but the food was underwhelming to be honest, could have been wrong choice on my part but tuna was sandwich filler type,rather than freshly made, lettuce was not fresh. Smacked of cheap ingredients to maximise profit margin. Wouldn't go there again personally but looking at overall ratings am in the minority camp.

Good selection of games and grabbers. Staff can be a little grumpy, but always help out. Ticket prizes could be a LOT better though. Update- still really poor prizes.

Spent a few hours at prorthcawl today. Visited the place for some food and a few drinks. Had the fish and chips and was very enjoyable. Beer was good and it has an amazing view to enjoy with your friends. Would love to be there at sunset.

Called in here for lunch , was able to take the dog in too .Food ok and staff helpful

A brilliant venue for a hen party we had recently!! Super friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed and the buffet food was so tasty and so filling!! The room was one of the smaller ones but still had plenty of space, really good value for money and right on the sea front too! Thank you so much for making our experience so great!!

I have been to the Hi Tude on more than one occasion and it is a great place to be. On the Saturday afternoon I was there they had entertainment a singer who was excellent. In fact we had seen the same singer entertaining at Parkdean Carmarthen Caravan Park earlier in the year. Lots of seating areas and on a nice day you can sit outside and enjoy the bay-view which is stunning.

I’ve performed here a few times with ‘Night At The Opera’ - Queen Tribute band, and each time it’s been a great night, prior to which I always have a meal from the bar which yet again was first class and brilliant service.

Great atmosphere, nice pint, great location and a superb fireworks display.

A great family fun centre, reasonably priced machines with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. The place is spotless and machines are being regularly cleaned too. There's a cafe inside with plenty of seating and again reasonably priced with good choice. Toilets are spotless and smell nice too well worth a vist ! Thansk Hi tide

This is a good place for arcade games and pop next door to harbour light for a meal or a quick drink or few. You right next to the beach, so maybe a stroll down the beach after.

Total fun place can easily spend more than you wanted too 😉

Poor experience here today, and uncertain about my future as a customer here. Have been a regular customer here for years, often bringing my dog along. Usually it's my partner and I, so one of us can pop in to get a drink while the other waits in their outdoor shaded area. This time however, it was just myself and the dog. HiTide informed that they don't allow dogs inside, but allowed another woman to enter with her dog, which was not a service dog. I tried to order a drink from the side window which had a "Till 1, food and drinks served here" sign. The bar worker refused to serve through the window, going so far as to shout through the window that I can't order from that window, I asked if dogs are allowed inside and if I could come in to order a drink and the woman said no. So I asked if she could open the window to serve me through there, as it was signposted as a Till area. She refused. I don't see what the big problem is, personally. It's a minor adjustment for a regular customer that is in keeping with their policy. The staff are usually quite rude, but they afford to be, since they don't make most of their money until the annual Elvis Festival anyway. Very upset after today's visit, we left without a drink. Why advertise as dog friendly, by allowing dogs outside, and by having dog bowls dotted around, but not allowing said customers with dogs to make purchases? Silly approach if you ask me.

Nice place to chill and have some drinks by the Porthcawl beach front.. they also do some nice food here and serve cooked dinners on Sundays.. And during summer times it does get busy.

Went to job fayre with my daughter excellent location and staff were really friendly too

Had £70 win on machine in 18+ in middle of game attendant came over switched machine off in middle of game and gave us £35 moaning about closing time !!!! Definatley would not recommend Better off going to Barry island !!!!
