The Living Well in St. Helens

We used to be regular visitors and enjoyed nice food in a relaxing atmosphere. We had a vegetarian breakfast and were surprised at how little good was on the plate along with just one piece of toast. We should have compost but didnt. Instead we will complain with our feet and not return. It was also really annoying that there was noisy children running around.

I have visited the cafe this morning. The decor is modern and chic, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff on duty, we’re friendly and constantly working, to serve the customers. I had a latte and a cake, both were very good. I could see people getting full English breakfasts and another table with filled jacket potatoes. All the food looked really appetising and I will definitely be back for lunch! You can also order afternoon tea to eat in or take away and even have a cheeky glass of fizz with it! The cafe also have a great buffet menu, if you need catering for a function. A great experience and even better that I have supported Willowbrook Hospice. A true hidden gem in St.Helens!

We regularly eat here. It's a great cafe. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is really good, and the cafe itself is spotless.

Went to Living Well with a friend and was very impressed with it. Had a . latte and Ham and Cheese toastie , very tasty. Staff very pleasant and place nice and clean. Prices very good and it is nice to know that you are helping to fund Willowbrook Hospice. Will be visiting there again.

My wife and I have visited nearly every week since I retired last October. While the food is extremly good value the quality is outstanding. The Home made soup of the day is worth the visit alone. The staff in both the cafe and the shop are lovely and obviously enjoy working there. The shop is well worth a look around. The downside is that it is getting harder and harder to drive past! Why not pay a visit. Even better if you have a few items to donate at the same time.

A sign of how popular this place is is that they had run out of jacket potatoes . There were plenty other choices and we had a delicious steak pie with lots of meat and very thin pastry and quiche with salad. With two pots of tea that only came to a fiver. Service is very friendly and efficient and the place is spotless. There is plenty of parking but it can get busy as they have meeting rooms too. There is a hospice shop next to the cafe which beautifully displays the ornaments and goods for sale. Some real bargains to be had . You can pay with a card for food but you have to go to the reception to do it so better to bring cash .

Go here often for a light lunch. Lovely fresh food at reasonable rices. Great atmosphere always friendly and welcoming.

Popped in for a quick lunch and a mooch in The living well. Small cafe although lots of outside space, and a nice selection of food especially the mixed berry meringue pie!!

Teníamos sopa/bocadillo y un café los precios muy razonables! Y va va a una buena causa. La sopa estaba muy bien ese día era queso y brócoli. El sándwich era buena - llenado era suficiente y pan recién hecho. Lugar agradable para tomar el desayuno/almuerzo a un precio razonable

Este es un maravilloso lugar para comer algo y hemos estado unas cuantas veces. Es bonito por dentro, luminoso y bien ventilado, con asientos al aire libre. El personal es encantador y amable y por comer aquí, nos apoyan Willowbrook Hospicio así como comer comida deliciosa, preparada en casa. El tamaño de las porciones son geniales y el precio es excelente para lo que te dan. Sin duda el lugar para el almuerzo o un té. No puedo alabar este lugar lo suficientemente alto.
