The Little Penybont Arms in Bridgend

Just to make everyone aware, the little penybont opens at 3pm. We have no control over the google search times that are wrong!

Place only opens at 3pm even though it said 2pm on Internet. When asked owner said don't believe the Internet. I did not wait the half hour before opening.

Just such a fantastic little place run by great people, great atmosphere and always really welcoming. Highly recommend a visit

Popped in for pint and tea with the family outstanding steak sandwich and chips peppercorn sauce!!!! Great beer and service!!

Lovely little real ale, cider and gin pub with a warm friendly welcome.

Didn't have food, just some nibbles. Very friendly atmosphere. Really loved it.

Excellent local micro pub, cozy atmosphere always serving a great variety of always changing local cask ales and ciders. I love the no music or tv just talking atmosphere. Dog and family friendly.

Just happened to drive past and find this gem. Great for chilling with some drinks. Especially recommended for the real ale lovers. Some decent locally produced nectar. I will definitely be back, just wish I'd known about this place sooner.

Absolutely wonderful little pub, the owner is very knowledgeable about the variety of drinks that are sold and is easy going.

Our brief time in there was pleasant enough with a limited selection of locally brewed drinks, a nice enough independent bar. Worth a visit.

Very traditional and cozy local. A very warm atmosphere. I love the simplicity. No TV no music to distract your chat. Would recommend anyone to try a variety of their local brew.

Being meaning to visit for a while but shut when I've been passing. Managed to pop in for a cheeky pint, and wished I'd not waited so long. This is a proper pub. Its not a chain. Its not flash. What it has is a friendly landlord and great beer at reasonable prices. Next time will be a longer visit. 4 stars only because its shut when I've been passing (which i understand) and no food on offer, but this is available a few doors away at steak and stamp I believe.

Only the second time I have been there,so keeping an open mind.

Good choice of beers and lagers

After having a poor quality meal at the adjoining restaurant and leaving an appropriate review, my family was treated in a disgusting manner at this pub. They have been regulars for a good while and returned to the pub recently, after buying their drinks they were informed they were no longer welcome at the resturant due to the review. Considering they have spent alot of money at this pub and simply left an appropriate review after their in person complaint was not acknowledged, i would not recommend this place.
