Called by on a Friday evening with no bookings but was seated with no problems. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Great selection on the menu with some unique curries as well as your usual ones. Wait times were average which was fine. All food was served hot and delicious and packed with flavour. This Indian isn't really near me but I would absolutely come back. Also they offer a drive thru which is amazing.

Terrible! Every time I order a takeaway it is never ready when they say, I think no matter what time you call they don’t start cooking until you arrive to collect - furious !!!!!

If you visit, the peshawari naan is a must, the mix grill was OK but the crab curry not so good as i could not taste the crab, a bit annoyed that when I asked to see Bill, I got a bad look, I saw it and walked off then when I got home realised I was over charged for a few items like my coke and a few naans.

Excellent food, one of the best out there, only downside they don't deliver their takeaway food.

A very good Indian restaurant with very, very reasonable costs and very nice food. It's a bit of a hidden gem but most definitely worth a visit .

Courteous polite and quick service. Food was delicious and even as it filled up with more people the same standard of service was maintained. It had taken a dip and thus is the first time we've been back in quite a while and we were impressed. Lovely relaxing mid week sit down meal treat!

The food was probably the best Indian cuisine we have eaten. It was delicious. The restaurant was very attractive and pleasant. The only negative was the staff being overly attentive hovering around the table which was a shame because the staff was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend and return.

We ate our meal for men on a night out. I paid the bill using my telephone put it on the table. We were the last four customers in the restaurant. We got into our friends car and went home some 5 miles away. Having realised I left my phone at the restaurant. I called the manager surprised that my phone has been switched off. I said I was concerned it might have been stolen at which point I received a lot of abuse the next day I returnd to the restaurant to pick my phone which was clearly visible on. Find my phone. However, the manager refused to admit the phone could be on the property and said that the Apple service didn’t work I must’ve lost my phone in a taxi at which point I explained we didn’t take a taxi one of us drove anyway I had no luck. My phone was stolen when I went to the toilet and I didn’t realise until I got home. It was switched off deliberately as the battery was full and the manager would not take responsibility or help us by looking at his internal CCTV, I reported this to the police, the food is nice, but I don’t believe the people are honest

The food was brilliant. it just took over an hour to come, but the takeaways were being done a lot quicker & more frequently, from what. I noticed.

We booked a table here tonight for 7pm and the service was rediculously slow! We sat there for an hour before our starters arrived, and we had been in the restaurant for over 1 and a half hours before our main courses were brought to the table. The food was good but the service was very impersonal and not that welcoming, apart from the lady waitress who was very polite. I wouldn't go here again.

A strange couple of people here, the little man was very rude. Food lovely as was the female waitress.

Visited with our 4 boys one Friday evening. The staff, especially the lady waitress were absolutely amazing with the children. Food was beautiful too!

Can't really say much about the food, because despite the restaurant being empty at 6pm, we were told, "Sorry, no tables available, we're fully booked" What an absolute joke!!! I won't be returning here!! That's for sure.

My Wife and I tried this Restaurant for the 1st time this evening, we drove from Gorseinon to get there.. front of house very very friendly and great service the food was a straight 10/10 for me, and believe me I will travel for a good Indian meal.. hats off to the chef he is amazing the quality of meat, ingredients and attention to detail was amazing.. can’t praise this restaurant enough if you are looking for all the above look no further.

Chose to visit here for a takeaway whilst on holiday. Lovely meal, the coconut chicken was divine. Restaurant looked lovely and very busy when went to collect food and friendly staff. Very pleased we chose this restaurant.

Called in for a takeaway on a hectic Sunday night. Lovely food, but a mistake in the order meant that I had to go back, which was frustrating.

Loved the selection of food. Staff were attentive and polite. Food was fabulous!

1 star as there’s no option for 0 stars. Staff spoke to me like trash. After they got my order wrong, staff immediately started blaming me for ordering the wrong food, this was not the case I know what I ordered. Ended up hanging up on the guy because he was talking to me in a trashy manner, the staff here need to treat customers with some class and respect. Will not eat here again.

Stunning food, brilliant service, very clean and lovely restaurant! Loads of food! Definitely returning! The only issue was that it was heavily raining and there was no mat or warning at the front door and my son slipped and fell dangerous if an older person slipped could really hurt themselves otherwise I would have given 5*

Usually best Indian for take away in Porthcawl area, but food not so good this visit.Thankfully food back to it's very best, and very busy for sit down aswell. Staff friendly and helpful but does get busy on Saturday evenings so book ahead for takeaway or a table.

One of the nicest Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The food was wonderful and fresh. Great staff. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend.

This restaurant is my local and is just outstanding. Great staff, slightly eccentric but friendly owner. It's just amazing!

This place is a gem! Not to be missed. It is unassuming from the outside, but once you step in, the atmosphere is really welcoming and the place beautifully decorated. We came here quite randomly, travelling through, but the restaurant visit was an experience in and of itself. It seems a favourite among locals. The owner is a wonderful host who will recommend dishes for you and generally puts quite the show on. The food (and the full jug of mango lassi that we ordered) was splendid. It was not very speedy, so should be a choice for those who want to sit down and have great evening. I hope we will be able to visit again soon!

Quite simply ... a delightful Indian restaurant which I highly recommend you visit. I like to think of myself as a bit Indian cuisine connoisseur and the stand out dishes for me were the onion bhajis..... and quite simply the tastiest naan bread (peshwari) I have ever experienced. The Currys were fresh, meats tender and packed full of flavor .. I can recommend the Green Tikka masala. Fairly mild but lots of flavour. Humble/Classic setting, traditional Indian music (a must for me). The front of staff made us feel welcomed and were really friendly .. the open kitchen was full of hustle and bustle with plenty of Chefs at work... Highlighting to me the owners are really invested in you having a lovely experience with some top notch Indian food. Do visit, if you have time sit in and enjoy the restaurant experience!

Another perfect night at Le Raj for family Birthday celebration. We have been customers since it's opened 20+ years whether it is a sit down meal or takeaway we are never disappointed. Was Great. However last few times I've been its gone downhill. Such a shame I've been here at least 100 times. However during 2020 and 2021 its almost as if the chef has changed. It isn't as good. The food has arrived wrong. We've gotten home to find stuff missing or the wrong items completely. Doesn't help when you made a trip from Cowbridge,
