The Little Chippy in Breckland

Worse fish and chips I have ever had. After pre ordering and waiting 30 minutes, I expected freshly cooked food but it was clearly not! The fish was dry, baked in the middle and batter was like leather.sorry, so disappointing, will not go again and certainly not recommend!

After a horrendous delay on our journey to Norfolk due to traffic we arrived in the evening too tired to shop. We had driven past The Little Chippy on our way into Mileham so decided to try the food from here. We arrived minutes before closing time (8:30pm) but were served fresh fish, battered sausage and the best portion of chips we've ever seen. All were delicious. The fish was very good quality. Highly recommended to phone an order in before you pick up. Many thanks to The Little Chippy for making us smile at the end of a long day and filling us up with tasty food!

Brilliant. Cannot fault at all. Always friendly service . Fast and reliable. Been lots of times and when order for whatever time, when get there is ready nice and hot. No waiting at all. Would and have recommended.

Fabulous! Crispy delicious fresh fish and super generous portions of chips. Highly recommend cod nuggets ( gigantic and succulent) and plaice. Definitely my first choice in this area beating the trendy spots on quality.

What an absolute asset this place is to a small village. Food is always cooked fresh from scratch and always tastes lovely. Fish is a good size and very generous portions of chips which is always a bonus. Chicken kebabs are really tasty, a little pricey as the portion size isn't as generous as it used to be but still very nice to have something other than deep fried as an option. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are always so lovely and welcoming. Just one tip is ring ahead on a Friday or Saturday as they are super busy and you'll have a long wait if you just pop in. Great service though overall and really can't fault them. Keep up the good work guys.

Just moved to the village and decided to try the local chippy. Wow best chips I’ve had from a chippy. The portions are huge. I tried the chicken kebab on chips. Came with salad and sauce of your choice. I foolishly ordered a portion of onion rings to go with it. Hubby had beef and onion pie and chips. We both loved our meals but couldn’t finish them as so full. The staff are really friendly. We rang and ordered and they wrap it when you get there. Will definitely use again

We were on holiday locally. Called in here early evening and had large haddock and chips. I come from the north east so know what good fish is. This was superb. Absolutely delicious with a nice light batter. The portion of chips was so large we couldn't manage all of it. We agreed it was the nicest we had had in years. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended.
