Friendly community pub, hosted by two lovely people. We stayed nearby for 10 days recently, and we were made to feel most welcome. Good selection of real ales, and they also serve tasty pizzas. Highly recommended!

Went here on a Sunday lunchtime. Not busy but ticking over. Pub is friendly and welcoming local. Wide choice of beers and ciders including real ales, key kegs and lager. Bar snacks, pork pies, scotch eggs and toasties. Also proper coffee and tea

Great beers and a really nice night out. Very friendly staff who were up for a chat and were warm and kindhearted. We were able to order food in and they kindly gave us condiments and cutlery to make everything easy. Beers were very tasty.

I love The Laughing Barrel and have been enjoying visiting there since it opened. We are always made to feel so welcome by Mick, Alison and of course Diamond the dog! They always have a fabulous selection of beers, ciders and flavoured spirits and there is always a full bowl of water ready for our pup!! Mick and Alison have created a lovely micro pub that is so friendly and a favourite amongst locals. Mick has also gone over and above to keep visitors safe during these unsettling times too. If you pop in for a drink, you will certainly leave having met new friends and a new favourite place to go!

The laughing barrel is a great pub with fantastic hosts! There is a wide variety of drinks to choose from, from local beers and flavoured ciders to an abundance of flavoured gins. Beer garden, and best of all.. dog friendly 😊 We will definitely be back!

Love this micropub! Used to live in Palm Bay but moved to Broadstairs now. I don't go there very often but always a friendly welcome and great atmosphere when I do; thank you!
