We almost drove past after seeing the sign shortly before on the A59, but we were really glad we didn’t. The chai tea is made by a woman of Punjabi heritage and is freshly made & perfect. Sweet & aromatic. The menu is basically British but with a few Punjabi tastes thrown in and it’s worth giving them a try, although the British food is excellent as well. We sat in the rear garden in the sun & we could’ve stayed all afternoon.

I attended one of Teresa’s cookery classes on a Wednesday evening. Fantastic experience with many lessons learnt. This is a lovely cafe in a gorgeous part of the world. Breakfasts (according to fellow guests) are superb, with English and Punjab brekky's available. I’m going very soon! Teresa opens the restaurant on Fri & Sat evening and again, if the food's as good as we had, it’s on my list to attend soon! Lovely lady and a brilliant night. Well worth a visit!

Lovely food good service and value a lunch stop and unexpected find. Last visited over 2 years ago when it was a more traditional cafe. Almost every table was taken, testament to the super food and varied menu.

A interesting evening spent with a group of friends, learning how to cook a traditional Punjabi meal. Then to sit and enjoy the meal with stories of Theresa’s heritage was very interesting and enjoyable. Great food, great stories and great company. Thank you!!

Most friendly Staff, nothing was too much trouble. We were 16 ladies having our Christmas get-together, we had a full Christmas Turkey meal, all was very tasty. The room was decorated lovely with candles all over, the fire was roaring and warm. A lovely welcome

We went for a breakfast treat on a Sunday and sat in the lovely courtyard garden with our whippet. I had the Punjabi breakfast which was all freshly made and delicious - a potato filled pancake, yogurt dip and a fried egg. My partner had the veggie breakfast and chai tea, both hot and tasted great. We took a couple of cakes home for later, pistachio cake, which was light and full of flavour. Look forward to visiting again and trying more items on the menu

A little gem and well worth a visit. The full English breakfast with a pot of tea was delicious. The weather was great so we were able to eat in the garden at the rear,so calming and well cared for. Hopefully when we are in the area again we will be visiting 😋
