Everything was very salty and greasy and not as good as I would expect for the price, the beef and broccoli was very bland, mostly onion with very little sauce and super mushy. Chicken Maryland came with 1 single chip. Overall not good for the way higher price than any other place here

Order delivered incomplete and luke warm. Owner came back with missing chips 15mins later. I said I wasn't happy with the service and that I'dnow waited an hour and a half to get my full order and I'll have to heat it up. I asked if they would be refunding me some kind of discount and was told they can take the food away if I want! Not even a complimentary bag of prawn crackers were offered. Certainly won't be ordering from them again.

ordered at 5 to 6. recieved estimated delivery time of 19:05 and 19:25. phoned shop twice and was told it was on its way without even asking me my address. i get they were busy but waiting until quarter to 9 for food is just a joke.

Orange chicken well flavoured with lots of meat. Quality is back to where it used to be

sent me the wrong rice said a replacement would bebup.. an hour later no rice called them to be told we will try get it up soon I asked for a refund instead they said they would see what they can do phone cuts off.. another hour has passed now no rice or refund for that and ny juice!!!

Good food, can be a long wait sometimes. Shame the deliver drivers use the disabled space out side as an easy place to dump there car to go in and collect delivery’s.

It was only 5-10 mins later than expected, but totally worth it! Food was hot and delicious.

Wrong food sent. Instead of a bbq sauce we got bbq ribs. Didn’t bother phoning up because we had already waited so long. Don’t get much for your money either but the curry sauce is good!

The New Jade is becoming very expensive but as always, the food was great.

Not one for leaving bad reviews but this was awful … over cooked items , strange taste in the dishes .. ended up in the bin .. might be a one off but not a good impression for a first time customer .. even the delivery was a palaver when I left notes but still had to speak to 3 people

Food didn’t have best test and myself and daughter felt unwell after it sadly. First time using the jade. Only heard good things, sadly not my experience.

Missing bag chips and curry was watery

Kids dinners are usually expected with chip so needs to be clearer that the childs chicken balls do not come with chips. Spent alot of money usually get juice free. The chicken balls and chips were over cooked

Food was tasty, but it was definitely missing vegetables. I ordered vegetable chow mein and could barely see any veg. There was some green peppers, mushrooms, bean sprouts and that was it. No broccoli or option to add it. Just found that 90% of it was noodles. However the taste was amazing!

Spent over £30 beef chow main that came (gluppy). Bbq spare ribs that came (red and big thick bits of cartilage) through it, started to wonder what ribs and animal I was eating from. On a plus the delivery was fast and the chips were hot!

Very disappointed, wontons where terrible never had them look like that either. Had two different dishes but basically tasted the same but one had more salt. Prawn crackers where the best.

Food was really good. Only down side was they charged £4 delivery and then asked for more at the door so I had to run around looking for change. Why not just charge the full amount to my card? Considering it was a 5 min drive too I'd say £4 was fair to begin with. But the food was better than alot of places so I'll probably order from here when I have change handy.

I mean I really like the place They do a very good food Last time I was here it took them a couple minutes longer to prepare my food. They were sooo apologetic. Guys, I would wait. It’s not a big deal. I understand sometimes you can’t give food instantly. So yes They defo deserve their 5 stars

Best Chinese Takeaway in Leven. They take pride in their food, I've never been ill or had an unpleasant meal from this place.

Very nice place, said to be the best in Leven. Huge portions and we got free prawn crackers.

Got a munchie box and got about 10 bits of meat rest was just chips that was including 2 ribs and about 6 bits of popcorn chicken 2 chicken balls that was it quite disappointing after last one I got had plenty bits of meat

I would say this is the best Chinese takeaway in Levenmouth. I have tried a few meals on the menu and would recommend Singapore chow main or sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style with fried rice. Banana fritter are really nice too. Order delivery a bit earlier if a weekend or near the end of the month.

Terrible service. Me and my family used The Jade for years, but we're officially quitting this takeaway. Why? Because on three recent occasions now they have failed to deliver our full order. First time they failed to give us the bottle of fizzy juice, then the fried rice on two separate occasions. The most recent occurrence really underlined how bad this has gotten. When calling I specifically went over the order twice, since we'd already been burned by unreliable order fulfilment. Order arrived and the first thing I asked my brother was "Is the whole order there". Nope! Immediately called The Jade to report that a fried rice was missing, and not for the first time. The woman on the phone's attitude was "I packed it myself, so all the rice must be there". This is a poor response since a) it's not the last step of the delivery process and b) it shows The Jade aren't taking responsibility for the issue. I pointed out the obvious issue, that between them taking my order and delivering it, something was going very wrong. The Jade agreed to come back with the fried rice, but for me the damage was done. Yet again I found myself sitting around waiting for rice while the sauce went cold. Either they've grown grossly incompetent, or something less innocent is at play. Either way, enough is enough and we'll never use The Jade again.

Unfortunately my experience was a first and last one. My chicken chow mein was like jelly and the hoisin sauce for the duck pancakes was like gravy. These are two things I order all the time so I know what to expect and this wasn't what I received. The order took 1hr 30mins to arrive so when I was offered another chow mein and sauce I had to decline as it would have been past bedtime by the time it arrived.

Really did with the service tonight.. I'm a regular customer and it was organised chaos.. I've never experienced this before

Good food and good portion sizes, if a little expensive compared to some others in the neighbourhood.

Best in town as far as I'm concerned. Good always tasty and speedy friendly service. Can sometimes be very busy so good idea to phone your order in before you go, or use the delivery service.

Ordered food took 2 hours to get delivered when food came it wasn't even that hot food was disgusting and the ladie on the phone wasn't nice at all phone manner were terrible. Waste of money would never order from this Chinese again. And wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It alright for a quick something to eat

We ordered a Chinese and when we got home the order was incomplete. I phoned to complain and was offered the same order free the next time. We went for it tonight and we were given half potions!! We won't be back at the Jade again!

We called last night for a takeaway as some people we know had recommended this place for good food. Four of us were going to order with one of us wanting something a little healthier as its January and watching the waistline. What happened next was borderline stupid, idiotic and just rude. We didn't have a menu and asked for something healthier like stir fried veg and the response from someone in the background was "why are you calling a takeaway if you want healthy food". Now of course we understand it won't be free from calories however it would be better than chips and curry sauce! Chinese food can be made without tons of oil and sugar and still taste great. We immediately cancelled the order and called another takeaway that were more than happy to oblige and offer a far friendlier service and respect that we wanted something a little healthier rather than stupid comments. Poor show jade!!
