5. Delicious Cullen Skink soup for lunch; think and hearty. The secret is their smoked haddock. We came back for dinner and everything far exceeded our expectations

We are about the check out of a deluxe loch view room, after a brilliant nights sleep. Our room had a super king, spacious and with an outstanding view of the loch and the mountains. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, more than enough to set up for the day. Really, really good quality local produce, hot and delicious. I did not expect to like haggis, but my goodness the chefs haggis is a joy. But most of all the warm Scottish welcome we had from Graham was the highlight of our stay!! Thank you Graham, we will come back! Finally, I highly recommend dining here. The restaurant is relaxed, beautifully presented with amazing views wherever you sit. A great, friendly and professional young team who bring a lovely ambience. And the food was exceptionally good value for money and perfectly prepared with local ingredient s that sung. Delicious! Had an enjoyable stay and a very good dinner. The room was quite big and the view from the room across the Loch was lovely as was the walk down to the lochside and the opportunity to sit outside.as the weather was kind. It was good to see the various refurbs that the owners are doing. Good atmosphere. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. It met our requirements.

Lovely hotel, staff amazing the food was lovely and the singer on Friday and Saturday night were brilliant, we had the best time for our anniversary, we stayed in the snug double and did find it quite small and very hot as we were above a vent from underneath the floor below , there was fan provided aswell apart from that , everthink else was brilliant thank you xx

We ate here whilst staying at the nearby Beach House rooms. Dinner was very good. Good choice of dishes, service very good and the bonus of a talented singer. She entertained us from 8-10.30pm with a range of modern pop and traditional Scottish songs. But what a contrast at breakfast! First staff were scarce. We only saw two waiting staff for a full restaurant whereas the night before there had been twice as many. The buffet was not replenished and was poor quality. Coffee was not fresh. As we had porridge we were charged the cooked breakfast rate which meant we were charged £15 each for two plates of porridge , a cup of coffee and some toast. Staff attitude was surly and a complete contrast from the night before.
