Met up here with some friends and despite coming last we had a great time playing the pub quiz. Drinks are great value for money at only £2.80 for a medium glass of wine! Brilliant pub with very friendly staff

Great drinks deals! And I could take my dog!! The staff were super friendly aswell, and told us about the mixer app so I could get a free pint aswell!

In watching the football & it’s pretty busy. Only one poor girl working who is rushing about while her colleague traipses around pretending to be busy. Maybe help serve some customers would be more of a priority than moving glasses about! Would have rated higher as the dark haired girl at the bar was super friendly but waited too long to be served!

Brilliant pub! Easily the best pint of Guiness in Glasgow. The rest of the draft range was also impressive. Food was tasty and well priced. Great spot for live sport. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for from a pub. Will definitely be returning again very soon!

This is a good pub & with nice staff. Was here Christmas Day, only one word to describe the food and that would be “Rotten”. Turkey like shoe leather, sprouts brick hard. Even the Christmas pud was awful. First time in my life I left food on the plate from each course.

This is by far the best pub in the area, one of my faves in Glasgow. They have a great selection of draft lagers. Cruzcampo was great to see so of course I got a pint of it. The staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful. Will defos be back again soon!

My fiancée and I were visiting the UK when we stumbled across this eatery while looking for a date night spot. It was perfect! The manager, Gareth, took good care of us and made sure date night went off without a hitch! When we visit the UK again, we'll be sure to go again and ask for Gareth!

Went in for lunch. Food was not great. Staff were less than attentive to say the least. this was pub grub at its worst.

This is a crackin little place, very convenient to get to and the staff are usually very friendly.We've had a number of our colleagues and work nights out here, though being a piano player myself It'd be great if the place had a little baby grand or a nice sized grand piano that we could use when we have our nights out here for some light entertainment, certainly would cheer the joint up abit.Of course one with a key lock on it so's folk don't just go up and start battering it LOL.However other than that it's quite a reasonable joint, little deer for a glass of red wine but not too bad, I certainly haven't had any bad experiences, got some very funny comments from the staff even when I've just been passing by going to work to use the bathroom LOL, but that's a sign of a nice easy going kind of place, certainly compared to alot of pubs I've been around the Clyde this is one of the more sociable ones, I'm not from Bearsden but it's my work's area and the punters seem to be decent.

Went here for lunch today and was sorely disappointed! We expected it to be busy. It wasn’t and that should have flagged something up to us. My steak pie was ok but nothing startling, however my husband’s cheese and potato tart was still cold in the middle. He sent it back but they just put it in the microwave resulting in the gravy drying up completely. We’ll not be back.

I and 3 friends had the misfortune of having a lunch at this restaurant.I have to say that the standard was appalling.All four main courses were sent back...everything on the plates was coldWhen we eventually received the food, all that had been done was that the food was reheated.The chicken I had was disgustingWe were given free drinks but that didn't make up for a terrible meal.

I live close by to The Sation but have seldom used it over the last few years due to previous disappointing dining experiences. However, we ate here tonight out of necessity and was very pleasantly surprised at the level of choice and the standard of food served. We ate burgars and pizza, all of which were delicious. It still has a sports bar feel but it was quieter this evening and there was a mix of families and couples which reduced the sports vibe. I will definatley be back (date already in the diary for this month!). Couldnt fault the food or service for a family meal on a Wednesday evening- the new management can be please with themselves!

Not been for a while, and Car Parking situation immediately a problem as to Pay or Station Bar/Restaurant property! Staff unable properly to help, then, despite being Quiet, my wife had to order at Bar as no-one came to serve us! Well drinks, then Full Order...but...NO Pizza!!?!?! Food re-chosen was okay & decently priced but nary a smile while being served & outside (in Sun) tables covered in WASPS!! Fix pp!! Disappointed.

Went for a few drinks with my wife last Friday and was very dissapointed. Firstly, the bar service was very poor; although it was the weekend and relatively busy,there appeared to be only two staff working, not very efficiently nor with any urgency. The toilets, upstairs were in a very poor state of cleanliness and there was an unpleasant odour, perhaps indicative of a blocked drain. The hand drier did not work but there was no paper alternative available.Prices were reasoble for this area.

Stopped off here for a few drink while staying at a near by hotel. Worked my way through a few gins. Bar staff were friendly, and we enjoyed our wee night there.

We rented the function room upstairs in the Station, for a family celebration following our daughter’s christening. We had booked well in advance, paid a deposit and confirmed numbers. We had around 20 adults and 10 children.

Myself and some work colleagues reserved a table for 10 of us for lunch for a colleagues leaving do. We pre-ordered as there was a big group of us and when we got there the deputy manager Callum greeted us with a friendly, helpful manner. He took our drinks orders, asked us about specifics of our meals to make sure we all got exactly what we wanted and came over to check on us during the meal to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it was. My colleagues and I were really pleased with the service we received and the food was very nice. We are already planning our next lunch there. Would highly recommend.

Suprising range of food for a pub. The staff were nice as well but overall it was an enjoyable meal with easy access to the train station.

Went in for a pint and a bite. Watched the staff and the food being delivered and presented very badly. Was disappointed to see it was mostly fried bar food.

Came in saturday night at 19:30, thought we would nip in as we have never been in before and we live local. My partner got the macaroni cheese and i got 3 of the small dishes. We ordered within 5minutes and waited until 20:15. Food arrived and 3 small dishes were freezing cold. Macaroni cheese was fine but dissapointed as waited so long for cold food! Chicken wings were rubbish especially cold! Wont be back.

Dirty, sticky bar counter and tables. Staff who are more interested in what's on their mobile phones than customers. Groups of young people who look like they're just out of nappies. Glad I didn't eat here. Do not recommend this place.

We booked the station for Christmas Day for our family of 10, as it was a central location for all the family. We were sent menus in October and spoke to members of staff on 2 separate occasions to discuss dietary requirements. We were also asked if we required a high chair during this call as we had a toddler in our party. Upon arrival we were informed we had been sent the wrong menus, we had to make different choices for starter and desserts. We also had to wait for a table to vacate before we could have the one and only high chair on the premises (another table with a baby went home and got their own high chair) starters arrived, pretty much flung in front of us, every plate was different so portion sizes differed dramatically. Flavourless. There seemed to be a lot of confusion and no leadership. Most staff pleasant enough but clearly very unorganised, a team member wearing a ‘merry whatever’ jumper was stomping around slamming down glasses, moaning to a table who she clearly knew about how fed up she was with the place, she proceeded to scowl at customers throughout our visit. The chef appeared and poured himself a pint before we had our mains. That may explain the slop that was again thrown in front of us, sprouts were mush, chipolatas had a chemical taste to them, parsnips and what I think may have been carrots were incinerated and inedible. My son has a very basic diet due to a sensory condition and we had called and confirmed if he could have a plain steak with only chips, we were told this wouldn’t be a problem over the phone. He was handed a steak with what I presume were potatoes and some form of mushroom gravy accompaniment all over the steak. When I explained the issue we were told not a problem it would be rectified. After an excessive wait the same steak covered in stuff was produced with chips put on the side. The chips were undercooked and he was barely able to cut the steak as no steak knife provided he left almost the full meal. For desert I ordered a chocolate and cranberry brownie that was to be served with vanilla ice cream. We were given a practically raw chocolate only brownie with no ice cream. It was now 5.50pm, the very

Sent wrong menu, no apology. Food not great, alot of our order was wrong on arrival. Staff worse service I have ever encountered including a blonde girl behind the bar banging about and proclaiming she "f**cking hates this place" and couldn't wait to get out. Last orders called as we were getting dessert, our menu included tea/coffee got a huff in reply when we asked for it as they "close in 10 minutes". Urgent need of a deep clean, new crockery and please new staff who actually like people. A shame to the few on the team who were trying. Dismal.

Decided to take my family to the Station for Christmas dinner. Booked in October menu was sent to the house to make our choices. My wife returned the completed choices to the pub in early December. As soon as we arrived on christmas day, we were told we had been last years menu and we would have to change our order, which we did.

Had lunch at this place today.Ordered a Brie sannie(as they put it)and a haloumi one too.Came with chips although these were not ordered- but it seems I was charged for.The chips came coldish and uncooked -out of the deep freezer and the brie stank.Initially I thought it had blue cheese in it- it was so pungent!Fresh Brie does not smell but this stuff must have been running around the kitchen before somebody eventually caught it after a few years of trying.I can still taste it some 5hours later-disgusting.PLACES LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HANDLE FOOD IF THEY CANNOT DO IT PROPERLY.Needless to say both I,and my wife will NO be back!

Really handy stop at the Railway Station, great if wait or meeting someone, good selection of beers and willing staff.

I have frequented The Station over the past three years as it is within a reasonable walking distance from home. Overall it is a 50/50 place in terms of quality. On the lower scale of 'typical pub food'. The staff are really nice. Over the years I have never experienced anyone who was really rude, so I was a bit surprised to read that comment in one (more recent ) review. Depending on the time of day, finding a parking spot can be a challenge. Atmosphere: Good. Convenient for train riders thirsty or hungry.

Food was awful. We had the steak sandwich and haggis pizza. The steak was like old shoe leather, unable to cut never mind chew it and pizza reheated. Certainly would not recommend or revisit.

We have a network meeting here and I always make sure I get there an hour before as the food great and good service and lots choice for us non drinkers! Its so good might take the wife LOL. Parking good to.

Like so many pubs throughout Britain this has had the false gastro pub makeover with its Farrow & Ball grey paint and local art & memorabilia. In the end, it is just an average pub on a station platform with good Tennents and a few screens to watch the poor standard of Scottish football. The food is the standard ‘ping & ding’ affair you’d expect from a pub chain like Stonegate. Staff are friendly enough.

Visited The Station on the off chance after getting off the train at Bearsden station. Ordered food & drink at the bar. Bartender brought over Guinness to the table once it had settled. Food was delivered fairly quickly. Meals overall were as ordered but a bit lacking in flavour.

Absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of your bar staff. Also allowing underaged kids (friends of the bar staff I am assuming from conversation) drinking on premises.

The Station is the ideal place to either grab a classic pub lunch or as I prefer, watch the football with a pint and a great pizza. Good atmosphere and great service.

Booked a Table for Mother’s Day only to arrive with no table ready and having to stand about waiting for tables to be cleaned and set. Very disappointed as the place had advertised it as a special thing. We were given a bottle of Wine as a way of an apology and I cannot fault the waiting staff. But to use the football as an excuse for not being organised is ridiculous. We have ate here many times before but sadly we will not be back as there are other pub/restaurants in the area that have better customer service. Food is fine

I used to visit here 25 years ago and it was old fashioned decor when built, a few years ago it looked great when modernised. Now however it’s back to looking old fashioned and dreary to be honest.

Attended an evening function to celebrate a birthday. Had previously advised restaurant of numbers and food required from fixed menu. I personally had Balmoral chicken which was extremely disappointing the chicken was rubbery and chewy the mash potato had a skin and the haggis was soggy and in a pile. Others in the company had rump steak which was tough as old boots. Never again will I eat there. Pretty decent if going for a drink but avoid the food if this was an example. The staff themselves don't appear to eat there as they had pizza delivered from a nearby premises. Says it all really.

Over the years I’ve tried The Inn on several occasions. The food is lovely but the place is let down by the slowness of service. It has never been busy when I’ve been in so I don’t know what is happening through in the kitchen to prevent the food being brought out sooner. A very disappointing experience.

Two friends and I came to watch the football (25th February) which started at 4.30 (we are in our early 30s). We were served by a member of staff who was absolutely miserable (blonde girl in grey hoodie). Didn't even say thank you when we bought our drinks.

Nice quiet place at lunch time to have a good chatty catch up with a friend. The prices were reasonable and the food was not at all bad. As far as Scampi & Chips go ~ it was pretty good. The service was good once you realised you had to go to the bar to order. Now that we know that ~ it is a nice clean, pretty confortable place to have a decent lunch and a glass of wine

Booked the small function hall upstairs for my daughters 1st birthday big mistake! This is where we met Nicole and her colleague (She is the Assistant Manager shock horror) asked for a few tables to be moved to the side so there was some floor space for babies to play on the floor with toys and was hit with her vile attitude basically told to move them ourselves while they both stood chatting at the bar with not a customer in sight. The floor was dirty so decided to ask for a brush so that I could give the floor a sweep this is where she decided to storm about for a brush like a petulant child while speaking to me like I was something she had just stepped in. Put a complete dampener on my wee girls day with her stinking attitude. A smile and some serious people management in order. would not recommend this place to anyone! The function room itself and buffet was good shame about the horrible staff who will eventually run this place into the ground

Un excelente lugar para un almuerzo de negocios confidenciales, barato. Excelente carta, idealmente situado para los conductores y los del transporte público.

Almuerzo con mi esposa. Sencillos pero eficaces de comida. Mi esposa fue para la obligatoria macarrones con queso. Acompañamiento de patatas fritas. No tengo quejas

Fuimos a cenar con mi marido. La comida estaba bien, pero la música alta y la mayoría de los clientes tampoco cerrando; grupos o individual hombres viendo el fútbol en una o más de las grandes pantallas. No volveremos.

Visité el hotel la última noche con un amigo y elegimos el menú de tres platos de navidad. El menú era variado y Ambos decidimos por el plato principal que Turquía era excelente, muy sabrosa, tierna y húmeda. La guarnición eran todos los presentes.

Have been to The Station a few times for a drink, service has been uniformly awful each time. Staff are inattentive, surly, unsmiling and very slow. No atmosphere, music is turned up to such a volume that conversation is impossible. Unwelcoming, unfriendly, unprofessional, awful.

Had a mid week catch up with a friend. We've been before and found it relaxing. Nice decor and loads of seating. We had wine and coffee which were both good. Service was friendly and efficient. The place was not busy and there was football showing on a number of screens. Although not football fans, we could have tolerated this fine but for the fact that there was music playing at the same time. Just why would anyone do this? It just makes a rabble. We tried a few tables to see if we could just hear one or the other but to no avail. Burnbrae next time unless they sort this.

Recently went here with my partner for dinner and drinks, great local pub and would definately recommend the burgers! Will be back again!

Met my daughter, son and granddaughter here for lunch today. We all opted for the "lunch and a drink special @ £7.49" portion sizes were pretty mean to be honest and the food came served with a lot of extra cheese and sauce, etc. that were not listed on the menu. This in itself would not normally pose a problem, but my daughter who is almost 4 months pregnant cannot eat soft cheese. My granddaughter asked for bangers, mash and peas. She got 1 small link sausage, a tiny amount of mash, which looked as though it had been lying and a minute portion of peas. For the establishment to be so beautifully decorated you would think the menu would reflect this, but sadly no! The staff were pleasant. Really disappointed on this occasion, as past visits have been so much more enjoyable.

I was in on friday 24th june, having a catchup with my late partners friend, we had a look at menu, which didnt look great, but ordered a portion of chips and portion of wedges, after waiting about 20 mins, member of staff brought our food, in these small dishes, i said to the girl, are you having a laugh, what a rip off, she didnt seem phased, i emptied chips on table and counted, 16 for £2.99 & 9 wedges for £3.29, they were tasteless, some wedges were not even cooked, so we will not be back there for food or drinks, would not recommend, and staff need to be retrained in manners.

Went in after lunchtime rush if they had one. staff where not interested in serving ordered 2 soft drinks had to ask for glasses 2 steak and ale pies think they forgot the steak part the largest part of meat was puff pastry which deflated when touched nice decor until I used hand rail and dust was unbelievable would not recommend or use again

This is the second time I've been and I will not hurry back. Recently renovated it is now called The Station however they haven't upgraded the customer service.They got my order wrong and when I told the staff member, she said they didn't serve what I ordered. I then had to show her the menu to confirm that they did! . I waited a while for her to return with my correct order, saying it had been "put through wrong on the till" This time it was missing the avocado and when I took it back again to the bar the staff member held up my plate to check if there was any avocado! There was no attempt by staff to properly apologise or remedy the situation after 3 mistakes were made by them. I was made to feel as if I had done something wrong. I was a paying customer and it was a terrible experience. It's extremely disappointing as I prefer to support local businesses. Does the manager read these reviews I wonder and what is he or she doing about them?

My wife suggested we eat here afterhearing some rave reviews. After eating there this week I have to say that the people she heard thereviews from seriously need their taste buds looking at! My wife and I ordered thesharing combo! it was a few bits of chicken, tiny pieces of scampi and potato wedges with crisps thrown in. The food had clearly been taken out of the freezer and chucked in the fryer as it was overlooked on theoutside and undercooked on the inside! had better from a second rate fish and chip shop! certainlywon't be back! just a pub that does food, and badly!! Staff were uninterested at best. There are farbetter eating establishments in Bearsden and Milngavie, use them and avoid this place unless it's just a drink you're after.

Relaunched recently as The Station. We were fooled by the apparently new menu and the promises of craft burgers (?) and superfood salads. Reading afterwards a few of the past reviews, we should have avoided the Station...Good location, decor ok, average service, dirty table. Food was poor.For £7.95 I was expecting some rather good nachos, fresh guacamole or salsa for example but all we got was a load of industrial standard stuff. We felt rather cheated,specially as they came without chilli (we knew that).Both our other dishes should have included avocado. Obviously no-one had gone across the road to the Coop for an avocado as it was missing from both. The club sandwich looked rather sad, and there was nothing super about the superfood salad. Bland, avocado-less and accompanied by a standard 'off the shelf' honey and mustard dressing. Despite kindly taking a glass of wine off the bill for the missing ingredient when we mentioned it, the Station isn't cheap and will have to try a lot harder with their food to attract regular customers who are these days spoils for food choice in Bearsden and Milngavie.

Had never been here before but called in for lunch a couple of days before Christmas while we were passing as we had read it was now doing real ale. Unfortunately, while real ale is being served, some training in racking, storing and serving real ales seems to be required. Both the Golden Hen and Deuchars that were available were in poor condition. The food wasnt much better. No idea how the chicken for the club sandwich is prepared but it was wet and slimey and not pleasant to eat. The chips with the scampi just seemed to be oven chips - served a little underdone and there were only about 10. Doubt we will return.

Visited here just after 15.30 today. This has been a regular spot to visit on trips to Bearsden over many years, indeed from the time that it was a Beefeater. My wife went to order drinks - when ordering a Sauvignon Blanc, was told that "wine supplies were low". Was told it (Chilean Sauvignon Blanc) was not available but they could offer a slightly more expensive alternative. When my wife returned to our table she told me that the "alternative" (a small 175 glass) was £10!Shocked and having checked the wine list on the table I went back to the bar as nothing on the list was priced at £10. The bearded gentleman in the brown checked shirt informed me (when I stated "£10 for a small glass of wine"), that my wife had said "price was not a problem" when told of the "alternative". I returned to the table to tell my wife. It transpired that (1) my wife was not served by the bearded gentleman (2) what I was told by the bearded gentleman about what my wife had said was a blatant lie and (3) the excuse was that a £37.50 bottle of wine had been served to justify the exorbitant pricing. Why not offer one of the many other listed options at any of the listed prices?Draw your own conclusions when (a) a barman has to cover his actions with a manager (b) the manager lies to a customer to justify what has been done and (c) the business can front such behaviour by any of their staff without any apology.Such a shame after all these years with no problem.

Popped in today for lunch, first time since it relaunched as The Station, and was really disappointed. Food didn't come as described, for example, steak ciabatta with BBQ sauce, melted mozzarella and cheddar arrived and was just steak on a roll, no sauce or cheese. Similarly with the fish finger ciabatta. We thought we'd share a side of chips at £2.99 but the 'pot' they came in was tiny and they were cold. The customers at the table beside us asked for sausage and mash and got sausage and chips with no explanation or apology. They brought us empty ketchup and mayo bottles so we had to ask for these again. Place was freezing with no atmosphere on what should/could have been a bustling Sunday afternoon. It's disappointing because this is our local and we had big hopes for the reopening.

It has changed its' name and now is The Station rather than the Inn. Ate here early evening of 23/12/15. Menu looked good, and food great, staff were also very good.Only down side was that we were in with our 11 year old, and the incessant swearing from the boors at a table down from us.We will be back hopefully the boors won't.

Having quick catch up with a friend so decided to visit the inn as heard it had been revamped . Nought much had change except it was carpeted abit and freshened up with new paint . Food was ok ? Haggis was nice but heated by a microwave . Busy pub and quite good atmosphere

My son and l went to the inn in Bearsden for some lunch before going Christmas shopping it was supposed to be a pre-Christmas treat but l wish we had not bothered as the food was terrible and the staff are not very friendly or helpful.The best thing on the menu was the nachos that we shared for our starter but l don't think they can do much wrong with them.If we had went before 12 noon we could have got a breakfast for £5.99 but after this time it costs £9.99 for the exact same ingredients.

Popped into try out The Inn for lunch with my wife. We loved the laid back and relaxed atmosphere, menu had a good selection of what you would expect from a wee local pub/restaurant. Plenty of choice without being fussy or pretentious.The staff were all very warm, friendly, helpful with good knowledge of the food on offer as well as the daily specials.We both had the gourmet burgers with a side order of chips cooked in their skins, truly delicious!The cost for 2 burgers and chips, a beer and a fresh orange came to less than £25 so bargain as well!We will definitely be back very soon.
