I visited in my lunch break only to be told there were no vegan options at all. Server was quite abrupt with me, did not feel welcome. Place looked nice but no room for single traveller to sit. Opted for a takeout black coffee and went elsewhere.

Popped in for the first time earlier this week and I can honestly say it was a delight. The staff were so friendly and the drinks and cakes that me and my partner had were lovely, what made it even greater was the price, something which some mediocre cafes in oundle exploit. There was a lovely upbeat atmosphere, making it a place I feel at home in. Definitely will return.

My friend took me here as she'd been before. Although I'm a regular visitor to Oundle I didn't know that this café existed. I loved the old black and white picture on the way in of Oundle railway station. The café is very inviting inside with comfy looking sofas, but we opted to sit outside as it was such a lovely day. Our coffees came swiftly but there seemed to be a hold up with the teacakes. My friend went in to enquire. The staff had forgotten that we had ordered (and paid) for them. The staff were very apologetic and toasted some up. They were delicious. We were able to sit and admire the beautiful old buildings that are part of the public school. All in all an enjoyable trip.

Just dropped in for a cup of tea and a cake. Good choice of cake, generous pots of tea and a lovely lemon curd cake was chosen. We were able to eat outside on a lovely sunny day. Staff friendly and courteous and atmosphere lovely and relaxed. Convenient for the library and doctors surgery with free parking too.

We love this place. The food is good, the staff are excellent, always friendly and polite and Tina is a gem. The location, whilst a little out of town, is easily accessible on foot. Parking at the rear is plentiful and near the library. Well worth a visit and don't forget to take your loyalty card.

Relaxed, friendly and always with a nice range of cakes and coffees - plus free parking which, in Oundle, is always good! – The Hub is a great place to meet friends or hold an informal business gathering.

My wife visited yesterday with Friends. There was a problem with the card payment machine. The three staff were all standing around it and ignoring the Queue. Staff were aggressive in manner. Manageress later came over to remonstrate with my wife, and did not want to hear all the facts. Spoilt the morning. Won't go back again.

I had a tuna sandwich today. Basic bread & cheap salad. Asked if I wanted white or brown. I choose white, then I was told that they have best of both... Weak coffee & unprofessional staff.

Have you heard the expression "a smile costs nothing"? Well I'm pretty sure they haven't heard this in The Hub. Rude miserable staff don't make for a pleasant experience. Drinks and snacks were ok but we with so many better options in Oundle, (like the Coffee Tavern for example), we won't be inconveniencing their staff with a visit.

Fletton House has recently opened and provides a great child-friendly retreat serving a good range of light food and hot drinks. There is a lovely sofa area with a good range of children's toys, however there is only a limited space in this area. Toilets and baby change facilities are clean and spacious. This is an excellent conversion of what I understand to be an unused space.

just such a nice place to have coffee - comfortable, stylish, friendly staff, good looking food (tho have resisted the cakes), spacious, child friendly, easy to park, next to the library - a really positive addition to the locality

A great new addition to Oundle in the Fletton House building which has recently been refurbished. A good selection of drinks, with hot drinks particularly good value and so far so good. The homemade cakes and biscuits are very good and there seems to be something different each time I go up. I am very much in favour of the 50p homemade treats for kids, all baked on site.

The Hub is a new community cafe set in the refurbished Fletton House. It is a light, airy & beautifully styled space with a very warm welcome. They serve toast, crumpets & muffins for breakfast with very nice coffee! There's a soup of the day, paninis and salads for lunch and a yummy selection of cakes which are baked in their kitchen. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Although the service in the cafe was slow and the staff forgot to bring me my order, the food was actually very tasty. However, the visit to the toilet was horrendous - the toilet seat in the unisex, accessible toilet had been left up to, to expose the most disgusting orange/brown urine staining (see photo's). I reported this to the store manager, who couldn't have been less interested - despite me showing her the toilet seat, she offered no apology, smiled and stated that it had already been reported and she was already aware of it. I believe she said that it was being addressed next week, so if anyone needs the toilet, you may be better to cross your legs until you can find somewhere more sanitary to use! Very annoyingly, the manager saw fit to speak to somebody on her headset whilst I was talking to her - really disrespectful and patronising. Really not the standard that I expected from Waitrose!

This has been a popular pub in higham ferrers for as long as I can remember. Good mix of space with a pool table upstairs, darts, plenty of TV screens for football. Often busy, pretty good parking. Great big garden which is great in the summer. Regular events in which is nice. Beer selection is a bit lousy with mostly lager and cider. Not great for proper beers but still worth a visit.

Visited here on a night in Thrapston. First class in customer service and food. Never had a better meal. We were welcomed and it was packed, no wonder, glad we booked. There were a few waiting on tables and they were efficient and entertaining.

Ordered on the app for delivery. Confirmed by text. Waited 20 mins after allotted slot, called takeaway only to be told that they'd rejected the order. When asked why she said they didn't deliver in my area (two of my neighbours received delivery) and when pressed she said it was because they were busy. I had no notification of this so was left with a hungry family and no delivery. Unacceptable.
