Myself and a mate done a pub crawl around Greenock and in my opinion you serve the best pint of Guinness. The bar staff are brilliant old school barmaids that will take no nonsense, but who will have a laugh with the customers.

Great entertainment caters for mature, along with friendly staff who are totally accommodating to all who go there. Large part of the community also they go above and beyond.

After my second drink I was asked to leave because I was wearing a suit and told I was at a funeral.rude staff and no common sense.

Food was so tasty and just cooked as we ordered but didn't take forever 😍 Definitely be back and I'd highly recommend Our Horseshoe Bar!! Fine dining in a quiet relaxing pub with the best prices 🤌🏻💯 I got the steak sandwich with peppercorn sauce and it's the best I've tried in a long while. My daughter got the battered fish and chips. It was cooked to perfection. Coleslaw was homemade and also delicious ❤️ 10/10 and 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for here from us xx

Had a great night here. There was live music and a great atmosphere , the acoustic set were brilliant (The Beagles) will definitely go back again .

My Mum worked in Dockers & She was Bubbly & Invited you in Horseshoe Bar Staff are growlers because I am not a regular even my Friend from Largs was like what is the Staff problem we wanted food but we left because I ain't staying in a place I don't feel welcome Largs bars know how to treat there customers not this 1

Get this place with a band in it and you're in for a winning night. An old pub that knows what it's doing. Pay it a visit, you won't be disappointed. They had a Ska bad on around the start of Feb 23. Absolutely top drawer.

Food was very good, but pub was rather cold, staff very friendly

Food is excellent staff are excellent and surroundings are brilliant

In today for food as the weather is shocking, staff are friendly which is a plus but sad to say the food was a real disappointment, burger bun was stale and tough, burger was so dry and over cooked... I literally took one bite and spat it out, my partner had the chicken burger which was so dry and tasteless. Maybe go back for a pint and to watch the bands as saw they have a stage but most certainly won't order food again.

Had a great day out for my friends birthday, first time in for good few years. Food was lovely, had steak sandwich. Staff were great, got a strawberry daquiri which was so nice. Defos be back

An amazing local pub with a great atmosphere and community spirit.

Genuinely like the horse shoe.. Been a mainstay in the town for years... Food...took too long and was pretty basic...enchilada...so claggy and doughy. And whatever happened to eggwashing pastry on steak pies..?.....day one at cook school...id give it 2 stars....just because it was edible.

Great lunch with a group of good friends. Fish & Chips was lovely, all friends meals were enjoyed. Staff were all friendly & helpful with our large group. It wasn't our 1st visit & won't be our last as each time we've booked for our group we all enjoyed our lunches.Prices are very reasonable,foods fab & staff are welcoming.

Lovely food....good drink..... bar staff are rude and never crack a bloody smile unless you're a regular.

Black pudding bon buns were superb. Fish was excellent (and huge) all in all really good feed. My only complaint is the plate could have been bigger as the portion size was BIG.

Friendly staff, nothing is a problem. Tend to your every need. Food is amazing, very tasty. Nice atmosphere. All within covid restrictions. One way system in place. Hand sanitizer etc. Would definitely go back.

Excellent staff, very friendly, nothing was a bother. Customers disgusting language. I count 15 " F" words in a minute from one older guy, that's one every 4 seconds. In short nice pub but don't take yr mother !

Good to see the Horseshoe back in business and with some new decor. They even kept the big round table!!!! (and the odour in the men's toilets ;-)

Food wasn't very good had a burger and chips it wasn't nice burger wasn't home made and it had the horrible taste of freezer shop. It was clean and the service was good very pleasant staff ,would go back for a drink but won't be eating .
