The Hollytree in Clackmannanshire

We have just returned from a Saturday lunch at Sammy’s. It was our first visit and everything was great. Sammy and his staff could not do more for us and our toddler. The food was outstanding and reasonable. We will definitely be back very soon. We have found a local gem. Thank you Sammy.

Went here today first time definitely won’t be our last Sammy made us feel so welcome in his beautiful restaurant, everything tasted amazing food cooked from scratch so fresh , can’t believe I only live 2 miles away and this was our first time , highly recommend can’t wait to go back x

Sammys Indian grill. We’re locals in Menstrie and we’ve had a few takeaways from here but decided to invite friends down and sit in. Honestly the food was fantastic! 2 South Indian garlic chilli, 1 rogan josh and 1 mixed sizzler,prawns, chicken and nann bread which was also fantastic! Sammy himself is a lovely guy and very hospitable. We highly recommend Indian food from here.

We went in and ordered a takeaway tonight, received a text when order was ready. We ordered a healthy grill box, changed plain nan to peshwari nan and added chasni sauce. The food was amazing, all freshly cooked. Tandoori chicken was so tender. We will definitely be back.

Booked a Family (6) meal here on Friday 1st April. Having been once before for Lunch, which was very good, and have had several Takeaways which have also been very good, expected a good experience. We were not disappointed, this experience was excellent throughout, food, service & hospitality by Sammy was 2nd to none. One question though, why were we the only customers? This Restaurant is too good to miss. Come on people, support it or we will lose it.

Ordered takeaway from here on Saturday 12th March order arrived but was missing the rice so we couldn't eat the meal so phoned restaurant and was advised rice would be sent out waited well over an hour for the missing rice in the meantime the rest of the food was being kept warm in the oven so I phoned restaurant 3 times to complain and understandably I was very angry as the meal was now ruined and asked for refund I was hung up on 3 times by the member of staff for being angry and upset this was not a small order in the least it was over £40 so in the end we were left with no food no refund no apology apart from having to deal with rude staff and being accused of being verbally abusive towards then at no time did I swear at staff on phone I did how ever raise my voice due to the way I was hung up on 3 times then my calls were ignored so then had to recall on a different number to get an answer very poor customer service and will definitely not be back and I will not be recommending this place to anyone was left with no food and no refund and was threatened with the police shocking service and £40 odd quid out of pocket

We live close to the Hollytree and we love walking down for a meal. The food is very good and the staff are so friendly. We would highly recommend having a meal at this restaurant, Sammy and his team are fantastic!

Stopped in as looked as good a place as any and was so glad we did. Staff were lovely and the Owner was so nice and helpful. Food was amazing. Best Indian we have ever had. Highly recommend and would definitely go back again 👍

Stopped in at Sammy’s Bar & Grill for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed the food and surroundings. Although we were early, we were made very welcome by Sammy and Samantha before having a wonderful Indian meal. The food was fantastic and portion sizes were just right for a lunch, not too much or too heavy. I was particularly impressed by the small details ... proper cotton napkins (not the usual paper ones) and the plates were heated prior to our main course being served. During these challenging times of Covid, my husband and I both felt comfortable with the social distancing and there were plenty hand sanitizers around. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone wanting a fab Indian meal at a very reasonable price. We will certainly be visiting again, soon hopefully.

We hadn’t realised the “Hollytree” was now Sammys Indian... we were very pleasantly surprised though. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. We ended up eating here 2/3 nights we stayed locally!! We will Definitely visit again.

Ordered takeaway for collection this evening - ready at time advised - very efficient! Food was delicious and service excellent!! Will be back again!

Thank you Sammy’s for a fab curry. Great flavours and hooray a piping hot naan bread wrapped in grease proof paper and foil. Very prompt delivery 😂 will certainly be eating from here again.

Contantly on the lookout for good quality Indian cooking. Finally we have one on our doorstep with recent opening of gin bar and Indian tandoori kitchen in Menstrie. Well worth the travel to experience authentic cooking and hospitality.
