Dinners on Fridays are so good!! I love the coffee and tea options.

The hot drinks are too delicious to be real and the staff are super sweet. The whole ambience of this cafe is earthy, vibrant and natural. It has become one of my favourite places to go for a quick drink and bite. I’m vegan and it’s really hard to find a place that offers more than just the few options on their menu suitable for vegan diet. It was honestly pure luck to come across this place.

From the incredibly welcoming staff to the scrumptious food! All round a 5 star restaurant in the heart of Plymouth’s market. Highly recommended and would go again!

A really friendly cafe serving unusual, great quality vegan options. We had the Feggs which are very deserving of their PETA award. Nice spot to people watch in the market and have brunch.

cute venue with really good vegan food. the earl grey icecream drink was delicious. matcha is average. the kimchi breakfast thing is delicious, really good kimchi, comes with coriander but easy to take off. their fake eggs are very good as far as fake eggs go

Amazing place for lunch in town! The coffee is 10/10 and the food is honestly out of this world - would recommend to vegans and non vegans alike! The staff always go above and beyond too, will absolutely be back.

What a gem, if you love food you must try it out. Discover a style of eating that is next level and so good for you. I found this restaurant to support a fundraiser they were hosting and fell in love. There are so many eateries that churn out fodder with little imagination yet Hedgerow will give you the most delicious food served beautifully at an incredible price. It retains it's family run business with love in everything they do. I almost didn't want to leave a review to keep it myself but they deserve to be recognized and adored. I tried the beetroot and rose latte and it is beautiful, fragrant and delicate in flavour. It makes my whole being smile and I am working my way through the menu (which has seasonal changes).

I am reluctant to give too good a review as I don't want it to become too popular. I have long wondered why they market isn't the hub of food in Plymouth, however with super restaurants like this it will be soon.

We had the most amazing brunch! The kimchi brunch with the vegan egg was out of this world and the mezze brunch was lovely and not things you find on other menus! I had a matcha and raspberry drink with icecream and it was absolutely delicious but it was on a specials board so I don’t know if it’s regular item. The staff were lovely and the cafe decor and layout certainly doesn’t feel like you’re in the indoor market!

Best vegan food in Plymouth! Impeccable fresh options that will satisfy vegans and meat eaters. The flavour combinations and friendly atmosphere will bring you back time and time again. Hedgerow has such a special place in our hearts we've even asked them to cater our wedding!

Wow! The best toasties we've ever had! The salt beeph & the spicy Indonesian tofu. Both were amazing. The beeph one had a lovely thin cabbage & the tofu had lots of jams, dressing, mayo etc. So much flavour. Quick service too. Also bought raspberry & chocolate cake & coffee & cardamom cake to take home. Highly recommend

Friendly and always a great relaxed place to eat my favourite type of foods. The food as always is amazing!. I had a decaff oat latte, Palembang toastie (very filling) and a matcha blondie (lush).

Honestly some of the best food that I have ever eaten. We were only planning to go for tea and cake but decided to try the shakshouka as we were so impressed with the drinks. I’ve been thinking about the beetroot and pomegranate latte since we went 5 days ago loll. The shakshouka was so delicious and warming, the flavours were beautifully balanced and the vegan egg was so tasty. As a wheelchair user, unfortunately it isn’t accessible but a lovely table is set up outside (under the cover of the market) so no bother at all! Asking full accessibility for an independent business is a tall order and one that is not always possible to meet. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I cannot wait to go back and I’ll be telling anyone who will listen to go and visit!

The vegan brunch was delicious and didn’t try to emulate the "full English ". Portion size was just right. I'll definitely be eating there again.

Just visited with my partner for a high tea and I had to leave a review as soon as I could - incredible!! Portions are generous and so beautifully presented, flavour combinations are imaginative and everything we had was delicious, I really can’t recommend enough! We left with some extra homemade pasties that we will be enjoying later, and we will absolutely be back!

The place is amazing, it's more like going to a friends who can cook amazing food. Staff are so down to earth, extremely helpful especially if you are relatively new to being vegan (only 18 months for me) I cannot recommend it enough.

Simply to die for! Best brunch I’ve had in years….be back as often as I can.

Arrived at The Hedgerow Hound at Devonport Guildhall at 5pm on a Saturday. It was empty apart from the chefs but had some nice music playing and we had a lovely welcome. They explained they didn't have a huge range available as their team were also serving at Tavistock Pride. We ordered the Korean Chiken burger and chilli burger and some local IPA. We did wait quite a while for our food but it was all cooked fresh and WOW it tasted amazing. I'm not vegan but I would like to enjoy a more plant based diet, and if I could replicate this, it's all I would eat! Honestly, the flavours were incredible, and it was well worth the wait! Only request I'd make are some more alcohol free drinks choices. We will be back to try brunch (served 10-2). They're also dog friendly. Hopefully, they'll be serving at Plymouth Pride. Yummy!!

Not only is the food amazing, it's wonderfully presented, by some beautifully lovely people. Im not vegan, but love the food. I am a complete whimp with spicy food, and some of the food has a bit of a kick. But if you speak to the staff, they'll make sure to help by giving you less of one thing, or giving you some nice cool Mayo. Lots of local parking.

Best restaurant food I've had in years! I'm not vegan but the food looked so good I had to try and I love it! Best brownies and best meals ever. So delicious. Staff are amazing and friendly, really good with my baby. And doggy welcome too. Came for my Birthday as it's so good. They even made a toddler meal for my girl, and she loved it.

We heard of Hedgerow Hound through a family member and we are so glad they were recommended to us! Lily and the team were so helpful in planning catering for a wedding weekend and a joy to work with. They took our food preferences and multiple dietary requirements in their stride, producing an incredibly imaginative and tasty selection of meals. Vegans and non-vegans alike were so complimentary about the food and plenty went back for seconds and thirds. We really couldn't recommend them highly enough!

This was recommended to me and it exceeded expectations. Beautifully presented and the flavours were excellent. A small eco section for a few home products you might need and really friendly staff who made the experience even better. I will be going back for the Summer menu released in the next few weeks! Was reccomended this place and was not disappointed. We ate from the brunch menu and I had a delicious bagel with kimchi, tofu bacon and vegan poached egg. The food was so well presented and the staff were lovely. There was also a selection of eco goods for sale to browse whilst we waited. I will be back

Omg!! words would not be enough! This is the BEST PLACE EVER!!!!!! The most tasty food, done by the loveliest people and surrounding by a nice atmosphere this place is incredible and I can't recommend it highly enough! I ordered the bagel of the day with an amazing vegan egg (omg this was next level) and my hubby the hot dog, he is not vegan and he asked me when are we going to be back to this place again. The coffee was so nicely well done and the flavor was just perfect. I took a brownie for home that did not make it as I tried a bite and could not stop. The best vegan place in Plymouth no doubt.

This is the best vegan food in town but don’t think you need to be vegan to enjoy , my partner the carnivore thought the dawg was delicious!!! Thank you it made my food soul smile a lot !!

Something special!!! The tastiest food, from the loveliest people. These folks are exceptional and we can't recommend them highly enough! Our love affair started months back with the vegan pasty (a firm favourite - the pastry is just *chef's kiss*). We visited their cafe at Devonport Guildhall today. The Sunday roast bowl was delicious. Just excellent, nutritious, flavoursome vegan grub! Chilled music, tulips and smiles - make for a calm and wholesome visit. Well worth stopping by, supporting the team and sampling an exciting and varied menu! The best vegan eatery in Plymouth for sure.

Excellent. As a non vegan eating vegan food can sometimes lead to a slightly hollow experience. Not so here, lovely balanced and intense flavours, hearty and filling. I'm looking forward to the next menu!

These guys know what they’re doing. Their food is absolutely sensational. Best thing I’ve eaten in Plymouth, possibly even the whole South West. Have been meaning to try them for ages and so pleased I finally got round to it. We had the Holy Hund wrap and the Rogan Khari wrap. Both were exploding with flavours, very filling and great value for money. If you can only eat at one place in Plymouth, make sure you come here. I can’t wait to return!

Oh WOW!!! I've only ordered from you the one time, but I was so impressed by the quality of your food as well as the authenticity! I don't know if it sounds odd to say this, but what seriously impressed me was the flatbread - the texture was just perfect, they were soooo wholesome and tasty, and reminded me of my mum's paratas which she learned to make whilst living in Kolkata! I can't wait for this week's menu to go online, and I'll definitely be ordering it! Also, I'm really pleased that your hound friendly! 5 stars - no question!

Had a Vietnamese take out burger on Thursday evening at the Armchair Adventure Festival in Cornwall and it was so good I had another one on Saturday. It was the better thing I have ever eaten and as a confirmed carnivore I was amazed to find out that it was vegan and healthy.
