The Gurkha's Dine Nepalese & Indian Restaurant in Cannock Chase

Thinking of ordering food from this place.... Don't....I placed an order through Just Eat, order was accepted and the online tracker eventually told me the food had been delivered....it hadn't! I Called the restaurant and spoke to one of the staff, who informed me that it wasn't their problem and there was nothing they could do about it in a very 'don't care' tone. It transpires they gave my order to a Just Eat driver and as such, was not their problem and I should contact Just Eat.. Really, is this the customer service you can expect from The Ghurkas Dine?? You accept the order, take the cash then don't deliver....utter fail!!! Do not order from this restaurant, they do not fulfil their deliveries and you waste your money!

Brilliant food. Brilliant service. Love the place we always made feel welcome. It's such a lovely place cannot fault it.

Well now my favourite food was the best lovely smiling staff harry very attentive and a lovely gentleman happy to advise on food lovely atmosphere and made you feel welcome will be back in next couple of weeks first class

Harry and all the staff were amazing really happy with the lamb saag aswell !! Me and my partner were used to going to another restraint but will definitely be going here a lot more often

We have had a couple of takeaways from here and were very impressed. This was the first time we had visited in person. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and seated even though it looked quite busy and we had not made a reservation. Some of the items on the menu we did not know were explained to us, we were given plenty of time to make our choice and we were even given an option of what strength of curry we wanted. The food arrived and it was really tasty, nothing was left at the end and we are looking forward to visiting again soon. All the staff were very polite and friendly but in particular Neha who took the extra time to help us with out dishes and make sure we got exactly what we wanted.

Beautiful nepalese and gurka resturant serving genuinely delicious food to suit all palletes and dietary requirements. Harry and his team are super welcoming, friendly and efficient making this a true gem.

My starter of vegetable samosa was covered with a very spicy hot sauce and chickpeas, not what I expected. Unfortunately I was unable to eat it as it was far too hot for me. I usually have vegetable biryani when I eat out, and as this was the only vegetable dish on the menu I settled for biryani but this was also far too hot for me. I asked if I could have a less spicy hot biryani but was told that's how it comes in? My husbands meal was also too spicy for him. I have never had this problem in any other local establishment who are a bit more obliging with the amount of heat they put in their dishes, so for this reason we won't be returning.

Second visit to Gurka's Dine and another faultless visit. Staff are lovely and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to Harry who made selecting new dishes very easy for all of us. Food arrived promptly and the flavours were amazing. The lamb in my Special Mixed Tawa was probably the best I have ever experienced - it was as soft as butter and didn't require chewing. Cannot wait to go back

First visit last night, wonderful evening. The staff were welcoming friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the food was fabulous, never having eaten Nepalese before the guidance and information from our waitress and Harry was invaluable. All in all a fabulous night and we’ll be visiting again and recommend to anyone, thank you Harry and the team

Third visit to Gurkhas Dine and each time has been brilliant. Staff are lovely, food is excellent, with staff asking how mild to hot you prefer your dish so it can be made to taste. You can take your own booze or buy there which is really good if you are prepared but equally if you are going on spec. Blue light discount to boot! A bit of a drive for us, which is usually a no go as we like to walk so whole party can have a drink, however it is definitely becoming my go to restaurant of choice! Love the steamed momos and the royal tawa I had last time I was there was delicious!

The service to start with was very nice and warm, the food is just marvelous. Usually, I get stomach problems from the heavy spices of Indian food, however, the spices were just perfect.

The staff here are very helpful and accommodating. The decor is lovely and most importantly the food is delicious and plentiful. Will definetly be returning
