Been to this restaurant a few times and loved the good each time. The restaurant was very busy as you would expect on a Saturday evening however the atmosphere was great and staff very friendly.

Always good. Momos are incredible. BYOB as well....

One of the best momo i have had in the UK. delicious food. My husband had chicken chhoila, chitwan curry and naan and they were equally delicious!! Nepali specials are a must-try. Really friendly staff, informative and knowledgeable. Feel free to ask them about dishes you must try, some great recommendations from them. Definitely visiting again.

Excellent Nepalese & Indian food. It will never be the Dilshad but the service is good, the staff are friendly and the food is spot on. I love the Ghurkas beer in a bottle too.

The food here is so good, especially the mutton curry which is absolutely delicious! They have a full menu for vegans too, so everyone is catered for. Definitely recommend!

I feel the food is great 75% of the time, I’ve never had bad food, but the fish pakora was sloppy one time, and the mutton curry may aswell have been just bone and fat curry, but as a whole rice and naans are very nice, the jalfrazi Or biryani’s are beautiful.. it’s my go to place 8/10 times Edit * July 2024 … faultless, foods always got the delivery guy is fire ! We used to be regulars of the Dilshad, that's how long it has been since we had ordered a takeaway. We decided to give this place a try based on the reviews. What a mistake. £23 for what you see in the photo. Turned up 35 minutes late. It was luke warm and the quality of the food was not good. First and last time we'll be buying from here and will not be recommending to friends and family!!!

Fantastic meal we had. The chicken Tawa sizzler was amazing!!! Everything was spot on, so fresh. Will definitely be returning. Best in the area, without doubt. Staff also so friendly. 👏👏

We were staying locally over the weekend and were recommended to go here by a friend. We weren't disappointed! From the moment we walked through the door to paying the bill, the experience was first class. The food was absolutely delicious. Fresh, tender, beautifully spiced, seasoned and presented. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I'd certainly recommend to anyone for casual or celebration dining.

It's was a fantastic meal me and my partner had will definitely be going again. The lady that gave us our food was brilliant such a beautiful evening we had, would highly recommend 😀 👌.

Visited on a Tuesday, welcome was lovely. Interesting menu with mix of traditional and Nepalese curries. Food was fantastic, loved my samosa chart and tawa main. Family run business with excellent customer service from Neha. Looking forward to our next visit.

An amazing experience awaits you. The staff are so polite and always very welcoming. The food is unbelievable and by far the best in the area...cannot fault a single thing. The food here is amazing, it's the same every time you go, perfect! Its now our go to place for a curry, its lovely inside and the Gurkha meals are amazing, cooked to perfection, the staff are very attentive and polite a special shout out to Neha who looks after us every time we go, she is very polite and has a beautiful smile. Everything was excellent from start to finish. We were greeted so warmly on arrival and our waitress was friendly & bubbly and knowledgeable about good menu options to suit our tastes. The food was amazing, the best curries we've had in years. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Me and my partner often visit for date nights and will be returning with family members The food is always delicious and I feel comfortable trying new dishes as all the food is served with flavour and cooked perfectly. The best place to eat out and experience top quality Asian cuisine in the Cannock and surrounding areas. Neha always greets us with a friendly smile and bubbly personality. As do the rest of the staff. I highly recommend you try Gurkha’s dine. Id advise Pre booking to guarantee a table.

We had an absolutely amazing evening and meal here. The vegan food is phenomenal, the service is top notch and the restaurant genuinely cares about serving tasty and authentic food. This will very quickly become one of our go to restaurants when we fancy a meal out. Its a 40 minute drive from Burton and worth every single minute of travelling time. Neyah served us and was so excited when we gave our feedback. 5 stars!

Lovely meal and super friendly staff. Extentensive vegan options that brought us into the place. Mix Tawa, vegan chick and lamb was amazing. I chose to have it hot and did not disappoint. Will be back again soon.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times now and I must say the food is great and comes out piping hot. I had tandoori king prawns and they were amazing. The service is also great, with lovely staff. The place is spotless. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food here is to a very high standard, always feels fresh and high quality. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. It is a nice restaurant inside with a relaxed atmosphere. Worth venturing off the beaten path for with same really tasty dishes and an extensive range or vegan options. Great value.

Ate in here a few times and always enjoyed it, I had previously left a 5* review but I’ve now taken it off after our take away last night. We ordered a £52 order for delivery and was told 40 minutes after just over an hour it still hadn’t arrived. We then called up and was told they had nothing on the system of our order so it must be out for delivery. 15 mins later it arrived. It was cold and many items ordered was missing, mainly from the mega mixed grill at over £20, we called up and they argued it was all there but eventually sent out the missing items but never apologised about the entire order being cold or the naan breads soggy. The food was dreadful just cold and not nice! Will not be returning here at all! Bad customer service and don’t care about takeaways clearly only concentrate on people eating in.

Thinking of ordering food from this place.... Don't....I placed an order through Just Eat, order was accepted and the online tracker eventually told me the food had been delivered....it hadn't! I Called the restaurant and spoke to one of the staff, who informed me that it wasn't their problem and there was nothing they could do about it in a very 'don't care' tone. It transpires they gave my order to a Just Eat driver and as such, was not their problem and I should contact Just Eat.. Really, is this the customer service you can expect from The Ghurkas Dine?? You accept the order, take the cash then don't deliver....utter fail!!! Do not order from this restaurant, they do not fulfil their deliveries and you waste your money!

Ordered or should I say tried to order a takeaway for delivery today. Now whilst I agree the lady that answed the phone to take the oder spoke much better english than I speak her native tongue 10 minutes to take the postcode and then had to get someone else to take it is perplexing. Then they hand me back to her to take the order. I asked if they did contactless at the door, yes she replied. Order came, deliverer wanted cash, said no and that I would call them when I had finished my meal as I preferred it hot. 5 minutes later knock at the door, can you call them. I replied no as my meal was getting cold.,ok I will tell them, 5 minutes later call from the premises by which point I was ticked off and told them I would call when I had finished my food. Chicken korma, 7 small pieces of chicken in a sauce of which I have had thicker cups of tea with a complimentary tub of bbq sauce (who has bbq sauce with korma?) Threw half the meal in the bin and phoned to try and pay the bill. Oh my life same lady same problems. 2 prices for the meal quoted both different to the menu prices. NEVER IN HISTORY HAS A TAKEAWAY MADE ME LOOSE THE WILL TO LIVE. Won't use them again for soooo many reasons. Pants service and food.

Ordered the Sherpa curry (lamb), Gurkha special lamb, special mixed tawa and Nepalese chai. Food was amazing, Sherpa curry had Sichuan peppercorn which was such a unique surprise, loved the food! We ordered extra peshwari naan halfway through the meal and that came really quickly. Amazing service by staff as well, thank you, I will be back again!

Lovely restaurant don’t get the wrong impression from me here but i’m not too pleased you took the Dilshad away from us. My little cheeky monkey Cameron Turner-Sproston enjoyed his christmas dinners for the past 5 years here and now i’m gonna have to actually cook one myself !!! Fuming haha lolz it’s fine my boy will have to have a festive one from domino’s instead that’ll do

We have had a couple of takeaways from here and were very impressed. This was the first time we had visited in person. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and seated even though it looked quite busy and we had not made a reservation. Some of the items on the menu we did not know were explained to us, we were given plenty of time to make our choice and we were even given an option of what strength of curry we wanted. The food arrived and it was really tasty, nothing was left at the end and we are looking forward to visiting again soon. All the staff were very polite and friendly but in particular Neha who took the extra time to help us with out dishes and make sure we got exactly what we wanted.

We loved it here - visited with our grandsons - 4 clean plates for starters and mains. Vegetable pakora and butter chicken with pilau rice. Lovely

Thought we'd give Gurkhas a go from our usual curry house in Hednesford. Glad we did. Service was great all smiles. But the food was amazing I had the keema and prawns, got 6 big juicy king prawns and the curry was so tasty! My wife had the tawa special and never stopped raving about it! Naans were perfect ..and the Nepalese chips were crispy even when in that sauce! ... amazing... can't believe it was so quiet!

We love it here. The food is so nice and full of flavour. All the staff are so friendly and we always have a laugh and joke with them. I’ve dined in and had takeaways and both piping hot and delicious- would recommend.

The food is always good here. All fresh, good quality. My go to Indian restaurant in the area. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was very busy, so it took us a bit more than an hour to get our dinner. But I didn't mind, they warned us beforehand and brought us papodams while we wait :) staff is very nice and kind.

Do not even bother food turned up over 3hrs late after repeated phone calls only yo them and never from them.

Waited waited and waited for food that never turned up, promised and promised absolute waste of time.
