The Greentrees bar and restaurant in Aberdeenshire

Dirijo un grupo para gente de mar jubilada y acordamos que volveríamos a la ginebra este año. El servicio fue excelente! La comida deliciosa y los precios razonables. Éramos 21 y realmente disfrutamos de nuestro tiempo en los Nuevos Árboles Verdes a partir de 13 : 30 a 16 : 30 . Todos disfrutaron de la comida y las bromas con el personal, que no podía hacer lo suficiente por nosotros. Volveremos el año que viene para "Tres en fila! " Recomiendo encarecidamente.

Went 20th April for lunch. We both had the fish and chips. Excellent quality of both haddock and the chips which believe me is unusual. Service was reasonably quick and friendly even though it was Saturday afternoon. Would definitely recommend it for both quality and value for money and intend to return in the near future.

We hadn’t booked a table and turned up, were shown to a table straight away. Ordered our drinks and food. The meals were hot and all delicious, well worth the money. Not often here and never had a bad experience yet. Staff friendly and helpful.

We decided to try The Greentrees this week as we had seen the menu posted on social menu and liked the look of it. Also we hadn't been here before and its always nice to try new venues. The place was quiet when we arrived and we were the only diners in the restaurant but we were early. We chose a pizza from the pizza menu and a burger from the main menu. Both dishes were delicious and we really enjoyed them. We wanted to sample a dessert so we saved a bit of space by taking some of the pizza home. The staff were quite happy to box it up for us. We chose a sticky toffee pudding to share and it was lovely. The lady who served us was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning soon.

Waste of time and money. We went for Mother’s Day dinner but we hadn’t gone in a while, it honestly hasn’t changed from the dingy, drab restaurant it always has been. The interior looks like a kids school disco hall but somehow worse. The relative who booked it asked if there was a set menu and was told no, but when we got there they only had a set menu (or chicken goujons or fish once we complained) and the minimum for 2 courses was £25 which a number of us weren’t super happy with as the menu was pretty simple and limited. We ordered and the first thing was my mums garlic bread was still frozen… the simplest thing but hey ho. I had calamari and it was great so I had high expectations for the main. I was sorely wrong. Most of us had the Greentrees Chicken. Keeping in mind 2 courses were £25, my calamari I would pay about £7 so basically valuing my main as £18. Keeping that in mind it was the most disappointing, sad and anemic looking food. A teaspoon of “skirlie” (which was actually white pudding, just say white pudding), a side salad(?) made up of massive chunks of boiled carrots and sliced courgettes, and a whopping 3 roast potatoes. My aunt got ice cream as a pudding, £6.95 for literally just 3 tiny scoops of ice cream. Thankfully the staff were supper lovely and sorted us out throughout the meal. One of the staff also agreed that they’re stingy on the sides and told us on a Sunday they put 2 roast potatoes in their roasts. Honestly I dont know how this place is still standing, it’s a total rip off with the overpriced but below average food.
