The Green Room Bar & Eatery in Camden

We decided to go the National Theater for a production of the corn is green. We needed a place to eat, and we spotted this eatery on our walk to the theater. My wife was not feeling very well, so we needed a casual spot. This place surprisingly filled the bill. My wife ordered a simple pizza and I had fish and chips. Both were quite good. The place was busy but not full. Service was good and we could see where our food was being prepared. The price was pretty good for London.

Truly truly amazing..........friendly welcome and food to die for! I'm a regular for their special Sunday roast(s) but popped in tonight for a quick pint then saw the menu (Thai mon-sat 6 onwards) so tried it.......absolutely blown away!

You know when you go for a Sunday roast in a pub or out somewhere not home... there is always something not quite right, sounds familiar right..? Well not here at The Green Room NW6... Yesterday we had the best roast I have had since my partners (Girlfriend lets still be young..!!) this was so top quality, literally everything was 100% spot on. When word finally gets out this is going to be one of those places like we used to go to in Chiswick W4 called Southy's I think it was... Family run and they care like family... This is it folks, but don't tell everyone all at once or you won't get in..!!! See you next week. X

Fantastic Sunday lunch, variety of meats. Amazing amount of food that was extremely tasty. Friendly staff that makes you feel welcome.

We arrived as a table of 8. 30 minutes late for a booking and felt no animosity or problem although we were very apologetic. Front of house were very accommodating and made sure a particular wine was sourced from storage and opened for a member of our party. I did not eat however the food looked incredible. A fantastic experience !

We had our daughters Christening here on Sunday.. we chose The Green Room because we didn’t have to decorate it (it’s already beautiful), it’s family friendly and Lisa is an amazing cook! We had an incredible buffet which Lisa chose and cooked. We were happy to leave it in her hands and right we were because the quality and range of food was perfect for what we didn’t know we wanted! We were at full capacity for the space but that didn’t phase the bar staff and it didn’t feel too busy. It still had a nice intimate atmosphere. Everyone was praising us for putting on a lovely party but I had to confess we had nothing to do with it! The least stressful event ever thanks to Lisa and the green team. Thank you for creating such a wonderful day for us.. and sorry to all your regulars who missed out on your delicious Sunday roasts! Love from Emma, Nick and Cali 🤗

Contains all the vital ingredients of a great bar . The food was excellent with enough options , the bar staff were friendly and the service was good. The atmosphere was lively , welcoming and relaxed , the kind of bar i would walk into for a drink by myself regardless of sex . To top it all you can watch sport at the green room without being overpowered or overwhelmed . Thoroughly enjoyed my outing and i will be back . AJ.

Lovely Sunday lunch, the veggie option was amazing, tasty food, great staff, what more can I say, come and try and you will be very pleased.

I was looking to do brunch-for-dinner for my 21st birthday and came across the Green Room. After contacting the manager, we agreed on a set brunch menu and planned the evening. The service was wonderful from start to finish - always smiling despite 30 loud guests! We were welcomed with our pre-ordered breakfast cocktails and sat down to pancakes and smoked salmon on toast. Food was absolutely delicious and incredibly good value - £20 for 2 courses. We mostly had the place to ourselves as it was a wednesday night and it's gorgeously decorated inside and a lot bigger than the pictures make out. They kept the cake in the kitchen for us and bought it out with candles at the end then cleared up the tables so we could hang around to chat and drink!! Made my 21st perfect, thankyou so much to Lisa and all the staff - I'll be back for a Sunday roast soon!

This was our first trip to the Green Room (we're West Hampstead locals)... the Green Room is a very welcome addition to Fortune Green - it's a lovely little restaurant & bar with friendly staff & delicious home-cooked food (I really recommend the fishcakes & poached eggs!). A lot of thought has gone into - even the plates they serve the food one are beautiful. Highly recommend this for dinner, drinks or a Sunday lunch. Thanks to the Green Room for a great evening!

We loved the Green Room! Great 60s soundtrack playing and lovely roastie. I had the veggie one which came with a nice wellington (I’m allergic to nuts so it’s so nice to not have a nut roast as the veggie option), pots and a yorkie. There was loads of nice veggies to share with my bf. Came with a nice veggie gravy too ( veggies are often only given a weird sauce so this was well received!) We will definitely be back

If you are looking to have an amazing time, good food and drinks this is the place you want to be. Excepcional hospitality, always well taken care of by the very own greatest owners in town. Additionally, if you need a place to have a perfect reunion/party with friends and family, you will be on the best hands in here. They go the extra mile for you to have a great night.

Fantastic pub to go to for a meal at great value. There are a variety of specials on offer depending which day you choose to go on. The staff were friendly and service was great.

Another brilliant night with friends at the Green room. Really good Sunday roast, nice selection of drinks but highlight was the local music and hospitality. Brilliant showcase of local talent and again Steve and team provided a welcoming and friendly environment making dire we had great evening. Highly recommend!

Lovely new local restaurant. A great Sunday roast and an excellent bloody mary. Friendly service which really makes a difference. I will definitely be back in the evening to try out the cocktails and bar snacks.

We tried the Sunday roasts, and the food was quite average. Maybe my expectations were too high as they had advertised to serve the best roast locally...on the upside, the staff are prompt and friendly, and it had a great relaxed ambience.

Sunday walk followed by the best value Sunday lunch ever. The beef, prepared by people who have a high regard for quality ingredients, served by enthusiastic, helpful & knowledgeable staff in a stylish friendly bar/eatery. Gets my vote as I'll definitely return again & again....

The Green Room is a great addition to the Fortune Green neighbourhood in West Hampstead. Lovely bar, friendly staff and great food! Have had the Sunday Roast twice now, excellent. Homemade gravy, yorkshires and trimmings! Really delicious and with it being of such good standard...

Great Sunday roast, 28 day aged and delicious, lovely little bar near West Hampstead will be coming back.

Great bar, average prices and a nice wine list. Nice decor and comfy seats, we thought the service was great too. Will definitely come back here again soon
