The Green Olive in Liverpool

Last minute decision to pop for tea and we were not disappointed. Freshly prepared food right in front of you. We had the Italian tapas including gnocchi with pesto, mozzarella sticks, the most divine Italian sausage cooked in honey(do not miss this dish) and a platter with meats and cheese and bread and oil and pickles. Everything was divine and others in the restaurant were having the salads and pizzas which looked just as tempting. It was lovely to see locals having a drink at the front of the restaurant as well as diners seated in the back of the restaurant. Dessert was not as great as the mains as the tiramisu was very dry and not very sweet but would probably have the Nutella pizza next time. Support your local restaurant and business and visit this gem. I will definitely be back......

Relaxing place with great drinks and menu. Authentic food, reasonably priced and suitable for a mid-afternoon stop in or an evening meal. Staff friendly and looking forward to trying a bit more of the menu.

We went during their opening week, the atmosphere is so very warm & relaxing, the food was fantastic, authentic italian chiccetti, the decor is relaxed and inviting, the hosting skills of the owner and staff are second to none, they have a fantastic wine list as well as some premium beers & you must try a cocktail or two,🍸🍹 and all this for very reasonable prices too (its great to see some one realises you dont have to charge town prices) all in all a great place that makes you feel like your eating at nonnas house, a great addition to our area, 5 star green olive, well done
