Up their own backsides unless you are in every week spending money. clueless customer service. Bike snobbery a plenty.

I have popped in a few times. The staff are very friendly. The food is great and the cafe has a friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a cafe to stop off at on a ride.

Called into today to have new tyre fitted to rim - just returned to cycling after 45 years . Chap who served me could not have been more helpful ! explained in an informed way the developments in cycling and what would be cost effective way of starting cycling again after all these years - honest and trust worthy advice Despite chap being single handed manned both the bike shop and cafe Would be confident to buy parts and have my mountain bike serviced at Green flag - great idea to have cafe in shop and history of cycling on walls

Needed advice re finding right bolts to attach a cycle kick stand. Friendly mechanic found what I needed in his box of kit and let me have them for nothing! Great.

I have just had my bike serviced at my new favourite shop, so helpful, knowledgable and friendly. They are real enthusiasts and are happy to advise on all aspects of cycling. I had also decided to buy a Wahoo kickr trainer at £1000 but Richard subtly suggested that the Kickr Core at £700 would be quite adequate for my needs. That’s what I want, people who will supply what’s best for me not what they will make the most money on.The other great advantage the shop has is the cafe, all food and cakes are made in house, really tasty food that’s perfect for cyclists. The cafe is run independently of the shop but again the young couple who run it are smart and friendly. I call in for something almost every time I’m in Clitheroe.

Unless you look like you have money I wouldn’t bother! Rude and unhelpful. Just because i don’t drive an expensive car doesn’t mean I don’t have money. You need to change your attitude.

Went in to get a spoke and the guy proceeded to tell me spokes come in different lengths, and asked me to give him a length (I had the broken spoke in my hand and offered it to him) a simple process of measuring the broken one would have sufficed. I had to guess the length!! Never will I walk in there again. Rubbish experience and won’t advise any of my friends to go.

Discovered this little gem a couple of weeks ago and part of me doesn’t want to share it as it’s so good but it more than deserves a review. The cafe is tucked away at the back of The Green Jersey Cycle Shop. It’s quaint, authentic and friendly. The food and coffee are amazing and made from scratch. We had home made Cheese and Onion Pie with proper “Home Cooked” chips! Completely delicious and at only £5.00, it’s great value for money. We were stuffed!!! They make Paninis, toasties, salads and the most amazing breakfasts. Emily and Donna (mother and daughter) run this little gem of a cafe. I would most definitely recommend it but ssssshhhh, don’t tell everyone about it!

Always pop into The Green Jersey for a post ride brew and natter. The coffee is excellent, along with the food. The people who work there aren't too bad either... ;-)

Had a full English and neither of us could eat it. It was cooked in some foul tasting oil. When we pointed this out the Guy was very defensive and completely ignored us when we said goodbye on leaving even though we paid in full.

We live locally but heard that Greendale had changed ownership and wanted to try it out. We’ve since been several times for brunch and lunch and keep going back for more .. If plain menus and ordinary fare is your preference maybe it won’t suit, but if you favour culinary flair and a point of difference to the norm Greendale is definitely worth a visit. They support local producers offering a small but interesting menu. There’s always a specials variation & everything is homemade. They have an alcohol licence and even pair some of their meals with various beverages as an option. The coffee is gorgeous, & served with a little homemade shortbread… what’s not to like A little Gem right on our doorstep, with great service and ambience into the bargain! 🤗

Looking for a dog friendly pub for a quick weekend lunch we picked here as we’d been before our four legged friend came along. Nice place with warm staff who seemed to work as a real team. On the food front B had Beef, GF had a couple of starters (can’t remember them) and I had a lovely tender steak pie with greens and chips. Baby pooch had an urge to bark a little and false alarm needs to go outside. Really nice place, people and food and we will come back if they’ll have us!
