Always amazing Sunday lunch great service. All the meats are amazing never know what to have! Been here loads in last year and wouldn't go elsewhere for Sunday lunch now

had a meal last night with my husband. we have been many times and meals just get better. beef dinner with yorkshires and veg...wonderful. belly pork with black pudding and peppercorn sauce delicious. highly recommended.

Food was lovely but the man behind bar was not nice or helpful but would say it is definitely not wheelchair friendly at all

Had Sunday Lunch here today was recommended and we were not disappointed.We go out for Sunday lunch regularly and The Green puts them all in a cocked hat. Wonderful lunch great staff and most welcoming we will definitely be back .Thanks to Craig Stacey & Staff.

Excellent food, Excellent staff and a very welcoming warm atmosphere, I wouldn’t normally go to a pub on my own but feel very comfortable here.

This pub offers a warm welcome, pleasant surroundings and very good food, cooked to a high standard and well presented. The menu isn't extensive or pretentious - just good food, generous portions and served with a smile. The pub was busy at 5pm on a Wednesday, so its wise to book ahead, but we did not feel rushed at all. Highly recommended.

This is a pub style restaurant serving good, unfussy, home cooked food. Extremely good value with no compromise on quality. I had the belly pork with black pudding. Lovely. One of us had the scampi. Perfectly nice. Two of us had the home cooked corned beef pie. This was delicious but if you don't like gravy (my husband doesn't) you need to ask for the gravy to be served separately as it comes ready poured over the pie. My husband thought the pie so delicious he ate it anyway. One of us had room for jam sponge pudding and custard to finish. He was in pudding heaven. The total bill plus drinks was £53. Half of what we would normally spend on our weekly trip out to eat. We would certainly recommend this place.

We eat out a lot and this was definitely one of the best if not THE best Sunday lunch we have had for some time. Food was piping hot, meat was cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Very good value. Great choice of deserts. Tables spaced out nicely so not on top of one another, felt a very cosy little pub. Will be back.

Superb food as always. Food was piping hot and was served promptly and presented perfectly. The service was exceptional. The staff always smile and cannot do enough for you - nothing you ask for is too much trouble.

Well, wow I am a chef and took me mate up to here.All I have been told is good.So we gave it ago on Sunday passed.Booked a table as you have too.Walked in got a pint,spoken to with a smile.Then that smile continued through the afternoon.The lamb was to die for and then the rest of the meal follows that.All I can say is thathankyou.

Lovely welcoming atmosphere with Craig snd his wife. Excellent food and really large portions. Prices very reasonable. Waitress was very helpful too. Would highly recommend for a relaxed lunch or dinner. They also provided a delicious buffet as requested for my daughter's christening a few years ago.
