The Greek Acropolis in Swansea

I know it's closed now because of the unfortunate times, and because people don't really have taste for good food like that, i mean really good food, that was the best restaurant swansea had, and there will never be one like that again i'm affraid, authentic Greek aswell ! The seafood as much as the meat would let you craving for more. The owner and the staff? They treated me like a brother, so everytime i had the chance i'd go there to eat and bring my girlfriend who's very sad that it closed, as she loved it. The owner knows me as the Italian Sicilian, he's Greek-Georgian, i miss his hospitality. Cheers for the good times there, never felt alone.

We were the only two in the restaurant but they didn’t seem to notice when we were ready to order, or when we wanted fresh drinks. The food was ok but not outstanding.

Visited last September with my family (8 of us in total). It was my birthday. We ordered in the usual way ie starters, mains desserts etc and, of course, drinks! The food was delicious, no complaints on that account ...good portions and great presentation! The only thing that I did not like was that we ordered three large glasses of wine over the course of the meal. I wrongly presumed that we would be having the house wine at around £5 per glass. Instead we were charged £9 per glass! ...hopefully/ presumably they served us the most expensive one?? I did not want to query this at the time and spoil my birthday meal but it really left a bad taste in my mouth and has stopped me returning. This is a great shame as I love eating out and love Greek food. No one likes being taken advantage of but this is how I felt after my experience.

Excellent welcome on arrival and the staff could not do enough for us. Very friendly service. Food was excellent with a varied taste to suit everyone. Portions were extremely generous. Food arrived promptly, but we were not rushed between courses, which was nice. The wine list was a bit sparse, so we ordered a craft of the house red and a craft of the house white. The wine was nice, but unfortunately the white was not chilled and we had to add ice to it. It did not ruin our overall experience, although it would have been much nicer if it was served chilled. The orange cake we received on the house was superb and much appreciated. A lovely gesture. Everyone in our party said they would return to this lovely restaurant. Definitely one to visit and we will definitely return.

My girlfriend visit this restaurant during her short holiday in Swansea and for legal purposes related with the Covid-19 pandemic she wrote down in the track and trace book her name and address. After that evening her details was uses in personal purposes by a close person of the owner of the restaurant to send gifts and contact her at home. I informed the restaurant management/director in private sending an email, that these actions are illegal and they are considered offence by the law. This is totally unacceptable and people who are sharing personal details of the customers should be ashamed about this kind of behavior. In exchange, the reply of my email was filling with “F” words addressing to myself and my girlfriend. Please be careful, don`t share your personal details and try to avoid this restaurant not to be in the same position.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much for them - they were able to describe what a dish was and give recommendations. Food was amazing and the prices very reasonable. The place had a great vibe about it. Will definitely be going here again.

Chose this restaurant for a Greek food , family evening meal out. Read excellent reviews so was expecting a good experience. Service was good and restaurant was clean and we had a friendly welcome. However, although food was plentiful it lacked any taste. No flavour of spices or herbs in the vegetarian moussaka, very little feta cheese in the spinach and feta pie .So very disappointed.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is phenomenal. Hands down the best mixed grill I have ever eaten. Packed with flavour, whilst being tender and juicy despite being cooked on a open flame grill. I do not have a bad word to say about the place. Very good value for money. You will leave full and satisfied

This restaurant is top notch can't do enough for you with a friendly atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door,we were looked after with great service and nothing was too much trouble iwould recommend that you go especially if you like Greek people and food

Absolutely stunning authentic Greek resturant. I literally wanted to try everything on the menu! Lovely atmosphere with excellent service id highly reccomend a trip here. The owner Alex has set a very high standard it was the absolute best. I will definitely be returning.

We had an amazing lunch here on 4th June, the service was outstanding and the food was mouth-watering, transporting me straight back to my fav place the Greek Islands. I would 100% recommend eating and dining here and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you 😊👍
