Have walked past The Great Cyrus many times as it’s in my neighbourhood, thought we’d try it as a January treat. The service and food were excellent; great hummus and amazing king prawn kebab, also delicious Turkish coffee. Good wine list. If you like Darvish on Roundhay Road, you’ll love this!

Fantastic food, an undiscovered gem in Leeds that deserves to gain recognition as a top restaurant in Leeds’ suburbs having been recently opened. The restaurant owners have shown such care and attention to detail to what us clearly a labour of love. Looking forward to going back for more delicious Persian food soon!

It was a very nice restaurant. The food was delicious and it’s the best barbecue that I had in a persian restaurant. The staff was very polite and enthusiastic.

La comida Square ofrece una solución ideal para aquellos que buscan una alternativa de almuerzo y comida barata como la Plaza ofrece una fantástica relación calidad-precio. La comida tradicional griega era sabrosa y bien presentada y el dueño era servicial y complaciente. Arriba hay una habitación limpia y cómoda que ha sido abierto para cenar. El menú ofrecía una buena selección y la comida superó nuestras expectativas el servicio era amable y no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para la comida. Sin duda volveré y serán interesados a probar el menú de desayuno que está en camino.

1 Saw Mill YardCame for lunch here and had the Seafood Paella and Churros for dessert. Service was lovely, and the seafood was great quality! Will definitely come again next time we visit Leeds

Walking through the door to a bright welcome, and smelling the gorgeous aromas we knew this was going to be a good choice. The decor and ambience is spot on, super clean bathrooms (always a deal breaker for me). The food was 10/10, absolutely delicious. A particular highlight was the aubergine dish which I’m still thinking about now. Price is very reasonable for top quality ingredients. What makes this place so good is the service. It’s a long time since I’ve experienced such friendly and thoughtful service in this country. Our waiter in particular was attentive & super friendly. We will most certainly be back next time we’re in Leeds.
