The Grapes Hotel in Stafford

Feel totally cat fished by a gorgeous looking Cumberland sausage on a crusty roll. Taste and texture like one of those walls frozen boyos. This is fast food which feels like it has no love and no nutritional value. West Cornwall Pasty Co has taken an enormous fall from grace if this is their new standard. Service was pleasant.

Ordered a takeaway on Saturday 1st Feb 2025, it took just short of 2 & a half hours to arrive, we called 3 times to ask where it was and kept getting fobbed off! When it arrived it was cold! Dry! And absolutely disgusting! I ordered duck in plum sauce which came dried up in a tub with no sauce at all! Egg fried rice looked like it had been sat out for days! I tried to call them several times to complain and they just kept cutting the call!! This place is DISGUSTING!! I wouldn’t advise anyone to order from here!! Our order was just over £80, a complete rip off!!

Very poor experience eating here. The quality of food is very low. Gourmet chips are just like basic frozen chips you could pick up at the supermarket. Quiche was dry, vegetables cold and was charged £3.95 for 3 thyme roasted potatoes that were dry and didn't taste of thyme at all. The coffee and walnut cake was hard and stale. I certainly won't be eating here again. For the cost there are much nicer places to eat close by.
