Excellent food and incredible service. The food from chef Richard was delightful with incredible loaded fries and the service from Jasmine and Lauren was second to none. Likely to come back again and a must visit in Leeds city centre.

Nice place for lunch in Leeds city centre

Held an engagement party here for 80 guests on a Saturday when the venue is usually closed. Stuart the manager was more than helpful when we first ate here to look at the venue and the buffet menu options for the party included the burger and chicken skewers that we ate that lunchtime (sadly no one got any good photos). In the lead up to the event he was more than accommodating to our bespoke requests and then on the day/evening of the party, the assistant manager Lauren looked after us and she was a superstar. Nothing was too much for her and all the guests were raving about the food, the service from the staff and the great vibe. It's away from the main city centre too, so you get the whole venue to yourself and no hassle from the usual Saturday night crowd in town. Would 100% recommend for the food during the week and also 100% recommend if you are looking to host an event for up to 100 people in Leeds.

Ate here for lunch yesterday for a joint birthday celebration. Unfortunately one of our party had an unfortunate find in her Bluey Burger, not 1 not 2, but 3 hairs inside the burger 🤢 We complained and we're offered a fresh burger, but we neither had the time or stomach for another one. One of the other meals the soy, ginger & honey chicken was over cooked and dry. The price of the burger was taken off the bill plus an additional 15% which went some way yo ease the distress of the situation but I'm not sure we'll be going back in a hurry.

Looks like a very nice place, staff are very friendly but if you're looking for a gluten-free burger please note that despite there being gluten and dairy free buns available the beef burgers themselves are not. I was told by my server that the burger patty is not gluten free.

Stylish bar opening out onto the plaza. Snug corners, window seating and outdoor seating. No real ales, but decent pints of hazy IPA and Guinness. Attentive, helpful staff. 🙂 It was a corporate event which ran very smoothly.

Nice food but everyone clumped together in half the space so way too loud to have a conversation over dinner and the staff forgot about us halfway through the meal. I won't rush back, which is a shame as I'm nearby once a week.

Wanted a quick bite on my own and this was local. Was seated straightaway and ordered. The place was busy and noisy, with lots of people drinking after work. I was glad for the place as many are not so busy on weekdays now. Service was friendly. I had a chicken skewer. It tasted good and the portion was generous. Would return if I wanted a quick, easy meal.

Tried the Chicken Salad here for a lunchtime opportunity, the chicken was done to be tender but with a chargrilled crust layered on an excellent salad. All in All, a great combination and full of taste.

The halloumi burger was lovely and great value. It was very loud so not ideal for dinner but the people out drinking looked like they were having a good time!

Great service from the team and the food was nice. I had a kofta which unfortunately was a bit 'rubbery' but still tasty. Others who had food said theirs was nice too.

First time back since the recent refurbishment and it looks amazing - it was a Friday evening and the atmosphere was buzzing. The staff couldn't do enough for us and all our meals were delicious, ( steak cooked perfectly ) and everything was piping hot and beautifully presented. Definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately I had too call here again on a works meeting/dinner so I didn't really have a choice I'm not going too lie but the service was OK but the food wasn't great again drinks ok apart from being expensive for the area.The worst thing about the place for me is the toilets the smell in there was rank.

Really good venue, a gorgeous mix of burgers and food (fully loaded fries addictive!), and surprisingly, very good value for money. Friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere, really well worth a visit.

The food was well prepared, tasty and good value. It felt a bit strange having a plate with just a burger on and I should probably have ordered some sides. Eight of us were squeezed into a booth that was only open at one end so it was a little cramped and there was some shuffling around when anyone wanted to go to the toilet. Location was very convenient for the new office buildings in Wellington Place.

Love it here. Occasionally pop in for lunch but usually for after work drinks.

Third visit here. I got the exact same dish again. The Asian-inspired fries are thee best. And the bluey burger is phenomenal. I like bought if give it one more try to get the burger as succulent as it was on my first visit. Alas, it was well-done, not medium and falling apart as I would have loved it to be. I feel this is the last time I’ll order this burger, but I still enjoyed nonetheless. And the service is always great. Next time, lamb koftas lol

This place is absolutely amazing! I had lunch here with my boss earlier today and I can say it scored my some street cred points! Atmosphere is amazing, we both had burger - and honestly it was as one of the best I've had in a while. We got a plate of fries to share, and we couldn't finish it! And the price point was so good. Couldn't take pic cos it was a working lunch lol, but honestly going back there soon!

Visited Thurs early evening and it was busy. That was no excuse for getting order for one person wrong, then making us wait over half an hour before replacement meal arrived, and that after we eventually asked where it was. To be fair, we got discount but they then tried to charge us for a bottle, not glass of wine. Food good, staff nice, but chaotic feel.

We were waiting so long for the waiter to come and get the order, we almost ran out of time for lunch. The meal itself was delicious. So book more time for lunch here.

Why do you feel the need to gender individual toilets when it’s a joint sink and individual cubicles situation, I don’t know…

Amazing place to eat, burgers was really tasty (I had the bluey) but the star of the show was the loaded fries! 100% recommend, only wish there was one in Leicester!!

Great place to eat for your lunch break! Make sure to book in advance and pre-order your food if you want to eat during lunch hours. I had the lucky chicken burger, fries and a ginger ale (if you like strong ginger ale, I would give this one a pass). The staff and service were great and the food was lovely. The staff were very helpful and competent when it came to dietary restrictions and allergies. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try any deserts, but the options sounded delicious. I was with a group smaller than 6, so there was no service charge (don't be afraid to tip). Overall, it was a great place to eat at and my meal/drink cost £14.75.

I organised a work lunch with Good Luck Club for 20 people and they were very straightforward. They gave us the food and drinks menu, we pre ordered our items days before and within 10-15mins of being seated on the day, we already had our orders. Everyone was satisfied with their food and honestly the service was great. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great too.

This place looks awesome, good vibe going to it. Had the soy ginger chicken. Tasted OK but wasn't bowled over. The chicken tasted decent but was really tough, I get it's BBQed but I feel it can be better. Coleslaw could have a bit more dazzle too, it didn't pack a punch or have vibrancy to it, I'm guessing it's made in advance rather than to order. Fries were great! Lots of choice in Leeds so probably won't rush back but will give another try at some point

Really tasty food and a great price point, with amazing portion sizes (Especially the loaded sharing chips!) I can't reccomend this place enough. The staff were also great, smartly dressed and so helpful and friendly. The place itself was modern and designed perfectly. This place is pretty much faultless. I would highly recommend.

Great place for food. We went for a retirement party and the place was decent, friendly, professional and quite fairly priced. I've rated it 4stars for atmosphere as it was quite quieter than I'd normally like, however cannot fault it. Highly recommended.

Had a great evening at The Good Luck Club last night. Late booking of 11 that Stuart, manager, was extremely accommodating in squeezing is in. The restaurant is a lovely environment with open kitchen, with the kitchen team the epitome of coordinated! We were lucky to be waited on by Chelsea who was nothing short of brilliant and professional. Food was amazing standard which could easily be priced higher as the restaurant is very reasonably priced, especially for city centre location. Would recommend to all, but advise booking as it is a busy and great experience. Congratulations Stuart and team, hoping to visit again!

I ordered a medium cooked steak. When I cut a slice off it was cold. No problem another was brought and the cold one was taken away minus the chips. No charge.

Staying at nearby Crown Plaza just 2 or 3 minutes walk away. Very pleasant restaurant with open kitchen ,food good, friendly staff and reasonably priced.

We ate here early on a Friday evening in a bit of a rush. A little tucked away but worth the search. The staff were great and made it all happen at the pace we wanted. The food was good. We ordered a salmon main between us as a starter and Rib eyes for or mains and our waitress made it all work with no problems. Loved the open kitchen. Good food, reasonably priced wine and spot on service..... Keep up the good work...

Lovely lunch but the burger I had had far too much slaw in it which made it really soggy & fell apart The burger was lovely but i'd recommend they cut back on the rabbit food. The fries were amazing!!

This was a terrible experience for me and my partner.We called a short while back and we had the bbq chicken burgers and not long after my girlfriend had really bad stomach pains and had some really aggressive diarrhoea that went on for a couple of days we both thought the Burgers didn't taste right.This was a massive shock to us both as we had called once before and everything was ok on that occasion.We definitely won't be calling again anytime soon! It was a horrendous experience.

Went for lunch with a friend. Great service, great food, quite a noisy atmosphere but it was a nice environment. Really well located, close to offices etc. Overall very happy and would go again.

Most places, you look at the menu, you see the description of the burger, you think it looks tasty, then when you get it served, it's not quite what you hoped it would be. This place, best burger I've had in a very very long time. The burger was juicy but not overly so as to make the entire thing soggy. The bacon was crispy and heavenly, not that nasty rubbery stuff you get served in so many other places. The bun was perfect, not soggy. And all this was served to me for only 7.5 pounds, which is significantly less than a lot of other places charge for burgers which don't come anywhere near touching this. This is why, in my opinion, the burgers here are next level. The two guys who ran the kitchen today (this was on a Friday evening) clearly know what they are doing. The loaded fries were similarly awesome as the burger. The service was alright. I did at some point get the impression that I was being ignored when I tried to order a second round of drinks, but it was good enough overall. A sure thing recommendation this place.

Really love this place … 4th visit for a range o reasons like client drinks … team stuff and more importantly family visits …. GLC Never disappoints .. quality beers on tap and always the correct associated glassware whenever possible such as Budvar … Nice details .. Had 2 very lovely more family focussed occasions which did not disappoint .. the steak and frites and butterfly chicken grilled was sooo tasty and the shoe string fries .. Oh man 100% … never buy n air fryer or settle for oven chips … these guys have it all covered … Will be back again soon. Front of house team are amazing … Worth good tips x

From the minute I stepped through the doors until the time I left I was blown away by this place , the food every single time I’ve managed to visit has stepped up a notch, the presentation, taste and value for money makes this the best of the best , Also with the exceptional staff to Match the food with all working so hard to keep the customer happy! I do recall the young girls names were Lauren ,Louise and last but certainly not least Chelsea they went above and beyond to keep our whole table happy, Also the Scottish guy Stuart I presume he’s the manager who helped sort out my own boo boo when i booked table for 6 and in fact 8 turned up ,I’ve often come across rude or unhelpful people in his position who would say no or just huff and drag seats and squeeze more onto table but he somehow found a table re jigged everything around and dealt with it like a professional , my only wish is if they could maybe move this establishment to Bristol Thankyou to you all

They serve me a almost well done steak and I asked for medium rare, so do not recommend this place.

Staff were great. Knew exactly when to ask if I needed another drink. Not as easy as it sounds! Fries were excellent but steak just ok. Wine wasn’t great. Beer was good though.

Good food as you would expect in Leeds, the burgers are quick to make and there are also good vegan options. Generally satisfied the service is also pleasant. We went for a business meal with the work team and everyone was adequately satisfied. Prices are as you would expect in Leeds city centre, a good option for lunch.

The Good Luck Club has been just round the corner for us for over 2 years, I'm annoyed we waited this long to try it! We had lunch there yesterday, the service fast, and the quality of the food (we went with the salads) excellent. With it being a lunchtime there was no delay in drinks or service and the staff were warm and welcoming. There's a few bars nearby but TGLC is a level above.

Amazing food, amazing place and amazing service. All around amazing and a nice place to eat and sit in. Prices were nice for the food. Loved it!

Popped into the Good luck club to look at the menu and the staff were so friendly and helpful that we made plans to go there for a meal the next day. What a meal it was! The server was very kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the meal and the food was great, and didn't have to wait too long. Would definitely recommend the steak fajitas! Will absolutely be returning the next time we are in Leeds.

Took absolutely ages for food to be made and served to the table. Numerous items were out of stock and certain dishes couldn't be made. Overall...really quite poor service. This is not somewhere I would go again. There are plenty of other local places nearby which are much better.
