The Golden Diner in Ards

Not local to me but had to post something at the post office... and they are in the same place. A portion of Portavogie scampi for just £2.29 yes that is what I paid! Delicious and great value. No brainer really.

Great chippy even though it’s situated at the side of a petrol station. Used it twice while on holiday in the area and have no complaints. The portions are very generous.

There are plenty of fillings for their wonderful baps - Pastie, Sausage, Burgers of all shapes and sizes and they are all well priced. Love the Pastie and the sausage baps along with some fried onions which they will add for no extra charge... little wonder we keep going back!

Don't be put off by this being a mobile structure in a petrol station. The food is first class, fresh, well cooked and plentiful. If you are passing through this is by far the best fast food place in town. Well priced, great range and consistently high standard of cooking. Recommended for value, choice and service.

The food here is brilliant. Service fantastic. Portion size really generous. Lovely, lovely food. Really love going here for tea. Love it.

If I am in the area... I drop in for something on a bap... the pastie is to die for... and because of the size of the pastie its hardly a light snack.. and all for just two and a half squidlydots!

Excellent food always freshly cooked whilst you wait. Good choice of food and well priced. I was not disappointed!

Very good menu with generous portions. This is solely a takeaway/chip van but is closed in for the customers comfort, however a few chairs would be good.

Just a wee stop as was in the area - food quality is excellent and the staff are really friendly. I only ordered a sausage bap but was treated to delicious fried onions all in the very reasonable £2.80 price that I paid! Top notch!
