What a great pub with great staff

The coors has been took out so didn't stop long

every weekend I go it's always busy magement are fantastic bar staff always smiling Interacting with customers just a really friendly pub with great entertainment on always

Very ‘computer says no’ atmosphere: much better options locally. Wasnt made to feel welcome or listened to. Owners seem to be on a power trip

Went in with my boyfriend for a drink and to watch the Albion match (this was last season now) as we were told it was on in there as they show sports, walked in and a woman who i can only presume to be the landlady or manager or in charge of some description was waving the sky remote around whilst customers were waiting at the bar for their drinks, landlady was effing and blinding about the fact that there were 2 matches on that night and that different people wanted to watch different games (simple, just put one game on one screen and another on the other one) but no, she was swearing and screaming and shouting and insisted she "couldn't please everyone" and was going to "put the 80s on instead" which she did. Turned round to my boyfriend and told him that there was no way I was stopping in there and that I'd never seen anything like it in my life. While she was effing and jeffing, the poor lad behind the bar didn't know where to put himself, he looked absolutely traumatised, and working in a pub myself I can say with certainty that if that was my manager who was supposed to be leading by example, I would be too. Safe to say I'll never be returning, I've never seen such a rude obnoxious landlady in all my life. Totally ruins what looked to be a nice pub on the surface.

The bouncers on the door are not very good, my husband and I went to go in just before 10pm and was told no entry for 20 mins, walked to tavern and told they were closing so went to get taxi somewhere else, whilst waiting we watched the bouncers let 2 couples in from tavern and a big group of ladies, was only 5 mins after we were told no entry, my husband went and spoke with them and told him can go in now, I will never go in the place again, the bouncers will loose the pub customers

Reasonable price for beer and food view of the cricket match

It was busy, beer was fine but the clientel was rather strange

Biased towards people, as I was Refused entry because I was wearing Joggers, but was told by my Friend that people were let in later on with Joggers on?? I won't be visiting there again unless I get am Apologies from the owners!!!

it was great there. again in 2010. a few years have passed since then. well thank you. I also made a couple of friends, unfortunately I had to travel! it's a pity that I don't have contact with anyone.

We held our fathers wake there. Decorated nicely. Good drinks and the staff was really helpful.

Nice outdoor seating area. Big choice of drinks at cheap prices. Will be starting karaoke wknds v soon. Friendly atmosphere and great staff.

A cracking little pub in Wednesbury run by a top man, and if you happen to be a Celtic supporter the gaffers one two , He keeps cracking beer that’s a good Price as well as a personal friend of mine keep up the good work bud well done Brother McKeever HH

Lovely little town center pub...loads local folk...gaffs from Cov and was happy to let me to explore the gins on offer

Cheapest drinks around Larger 2.05 a pint Guinness 2.50 a pint Cant beat that Not even spoons up the rd

Not too bad of a place,but the gaffers wife/partner needs a few lessons in customer relations and manners. I think having a walkie talkie in her hand and the powers she thinks comes with them has gone to her head!-serious attitude problem! Can only put it down to problems as a child.

Walked in took a leek and got told to leave, accused of suspicion of drugs totally amazed, I don't do drugs n half of the pub looks off it, wouldn't recommend it, spoilt a good night

Went here Saturday night - was greeted by door staff searching all customers - actually putting there hands in trouser pockets front and back - intrusive and humilating - was told if I didn't like it dont come in - have reported to local police about inapproriate searching and touching of customers - watch this space!

The golden cross pub is in the centre of wednesbury. Former known as the pig and trumpet. A standard pub with beer garden, darts and pool table. No real Ale here.
