very small selection and not very tasty - the items advertised aren’t even there even on a Friday night. There was no beef wellington, no lobster, Indian section was like 2 items, Italian only had 2 types of pizza, roast was very dry and my shish was actually raw. service was very good however for £88 how can they be serving a buffet of such low quality. 2 people can eat much better food elsewhere.

The meats steak beef and lamb looked good but when eaten were very chewy not as described on video's as melt in your mouth . alot of the chicken selections were very similar. The deserts reminded me of Turkish deserts looked fabulous to look at but did not live upto expectations in taste overhaul very disappointed and then to top it off asked for £50+ service charge for a BUFFET ???

We celebrated my birthday here recently. I had a sufficiently good time but I won't be returning. For a buffet restaurant, the service felt unnecessary and our server was too animated to the point of being almost uncomfortable. The variety was OK, but I've had better. The quality of the food was a bit hit and miss. Some items were lovely and some were just bland. The dessert section was good though. The level of hygiene was questionable. Every other plate was dirty. The cost for two people exceeded £200 without alcohol, which I felt was excessive. They even had the audacity to charge us for the service. It was a self-serve buffet, FFS. Resident breakfast was served at the Glasshouse too and that was really good. Avoid buffet lunch or dinner, but definitely go for the breakfast.

Just to say that Jaceks customer service was second to none. His sense of humour and his cheerful nature made for an elevated dining experience. Thank you, Jacek.

I didn’t really appreciate the extraordinary fees here if I’m honest. Paid £99 each for basic Sushi, Roast & Indian. When it comes to food you’d get a better experience and chains like SushiMania, Toby Calvery & your local Indian restaurant at a fraction of the cost. Left their felling robbed and cheated. Expected so much more. The service is okay, The restaurant itself had good decor and nice ambiance. But everything else was just very basic the food didn’t make you go “WOW I’ve never tasted anything like this” It I was an absolute tighty with money I’d be in two minds to do a chargeback with my bank for unsatisfactory dining.

For £88 I expected better. The food is nice and the quality is good. But it is pricey for a few stations. The beef wellington was not on the menu neither were the lobster which you see on socials. At best this is worth £60-£65 per head. This has clearly blown up because of Netflix and social media. Is it as amazing as it’s portrayed? no. Is the quality of the food good? yes. So it’s really down to the individual as to whether they would want to see what the hype is about. I would say pay a bit more and go to a Michelin star restaurant instead, rather than a buffet.

We had lunch at the Glasshouse at 12.30pm on Fri 6 Dec for our work Chrismas party. We were aparty of 9 people. I would like to have seen a few more vegetarian dishes/options on the buffet menu - lebanese options (halloumi, baba ganoush, felafel, tabbouleh salad, fattoush salad), sri lankan or goan coconut vegetarian curries with etc. Aga our Polish waitress really looked after us and gave us top quality service. Aga was polite, attentive and very hospitable. Thank you for looking after us so well Aga!

It was a lovely evening, we came as a family for my Mothers 80th and we were seated in a lovely booth tucked at the end of the room which was intimate and comfortable and just perfect for the occasion. We all left very satisfied and the food and service was second to none.

Our third visit and once again a truly amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back

Honestly, this place is all style and no substance. The hotel is gorgeous, but the food is horrendous, and I’ve never been so disappointed by a supposedly “high-end” restaurant. It’s massively overhyped, and I won’t be recommending it to anyone. In fact, I’ll be actively telling everyone to stay away. As a huge foodie, I never leave food behind — but I couldn’t even stomach my first plate. The chicken shish, beef Wellington, potatoes, and tandoori potatoes were all dreadful. The meat was dry and tasteless, the flavors were nonexistent, and the only thing I could choke down were the potatoes. Then I tried the stir fry. The chicken looked grey and gross, like it had been sitting out for hours. The rice and chicken korma were bland and forgettable — nothing remotely impressive. Even the naan was a letdown. To make matters worse, we were charged the service gratuity twice on the bill. When I pointed it out, the waiter tried to pass it off as VAT. After I called him out, he changed his story, claiming it was a “mistake” and offered a new bill. And to top it off, my friend was violently sick after leaving — a clear sign of how terrible the food really was. The Grove Glasshouse is a complete disaster. Avoid it like the plague. The food, service, and overall experience were a joke. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Incredible food, the quality is outstanding for an all you can eat buffet. Staff are super attentive and the hotel/restaurant is gorgeous. It was our second visit and won't be our last! Thank you :)

Dined there last night (Friday) and not for the first time. The food was great as always but we were very disappointed with the service. Struggled to get drinks, cutlery and the table cleared. Not the service you would expect from such an establishment and on last nights experience I wouldn't recommend the glasshouse to friends. I would give the food 4.5 stars if I could but it wasn't quite a 5

We had our Company Christmas Dinner at the Glasshouse. This is about the third or fourth time that we have been there as a company and we had an amazing experience. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive, friendly and took very good care of us. Thank you.

First time visit. We'll certainly be back. Sunday lunch as it should be. Roast beef and Lamb was succulent, delicious melt in mouth experience 😋 The Banoffitini Cocktail very moreish. Delightful dining . Attentive waiting staff.

In the opinion of the whole UK, the buffet provided by this restaurant is rich and delicious. Every food is very tasty. There are many types of sashimi. Different sashimi will be provided at different times, but there are fewer types compared to seafood. Some hot dishes such as fish soup noodles or barbecue are made on order. It is a good place to celebrate festivals, but the price is relatively high and the value for money is not good.

The 5-star dining equivalent of a “Live, Laugh, Love” sign. That caustic snobbery aside, the service and staff were fanatastic. Moreover, the food is solid enough, especially for a buffet. An enjoyable experience overall.

After driving nearly 2 hours just for dinner... The Glass House experience did not disappoint. As stunning as the food and environment was, the service we recieved from our waiter Jacek S was next level and completely made our first experience amazing. Xx will definitely be back

Food was good if you didn’t have dietary restrictions but for vegetarian and vegans there were incredibly few options.

Unfortunately the food was mediocre and constantly almost cold or lukewarm. Definitely not the same experience we had last Christmas. Staff nowhere near as attentive and friendly as last year either.

I have visited the Glasshouse Bar today for a drink and a toasted sandwich. The atmosphere was excellent as was the food. However what makes the experience special is the service. Ivett, Alliyah, Ryan and Cian were so attentive and professional. It is the staff which really makes a visit special and The Grove have a superb team in the Glasshouse Bar. Thank you all

Not many places that would receive a full 5-star classification and recommendation but The Glasshouse goes above and beyond the 5-star classification. The quality, the presentation and above all the staff are impeccable. The management, the culinary chefs and the service staff deserve a recognition to the success of The Glasshouse team. My husband booked The Glasshouse for my birthday dinner and it was an incredible and memorable meal. The food was very delicious with lots of variety, and our waitress Eva was so helpful, friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

We went for an Xmas lunch treat with one other couple. The service, from Eva, was superb. She is friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was very good.

Great meal in the glasshouse Sunday evening, the restaurant had a Great atmosphere. The waiter, the folding up the napkins in different ways was excellent.

Attended dinner service tonight for my husbands 31st birthday. The 2.5hr drive each way was worth it! Staff were great, but a special mention to our server Annie who was more than I could have hoped for. She was extremely attentive, friendly and genuinely seemed like she enjoyed serving us. She even got my husband a small birthday cake without me even mentioning it. Atmosphere was great, loved the jazz music and the food was delicious. The drinks were OK, but the cocktails were medicore given the price so I'd avoid those next time, but overall a fabulous evening and we can't wait to come back.

Food is good with a wide range of options; a little bit pricey. I personally find the seating cramped, and the food area, but a good enough experience all around.

80th Birthday celebration lunch for seven Have been to the Glasshouse before on a few occasions but not recently, so wondered if the past excellent standards would be the same . . Well, it was BETTER! Incredible service. From greeting on arrival, to reception, then the restaurant. Our server was AMY. Attentive from the start and kept a watchful eye on us to meet our needs. EDYTA , with her cheerful sense of humour, took our wine order The food, well hard to know where to start. What did we chose? Well everything! The choice is massive and small portions of a little of what you like just when you like means you can try lots of different delicious flavours without getting over full One of our party is a chef. He was well impressed. We all were. There is simply no place like this restaurant near its  location and though not cheap, good value Here you get what you pay for and it makes menus boring and redundant when you have an entire kitchen of chefs and dishes all in front of you And they even sang Happy Birthday and gave me a cake with candles Nice touch . . Wow . .

From the moment we walked in to the time we left everything was amazing. The quality of the food was outstanding, as was the service. I think the weakest part of the meal, although still nice, was dessert. But that's just my personal preference. I would say the Red Velvet cooked were WOW! The Beef Wellington was probably the best I'd ever had. I will be going back

What a wonderful place this is!! Everyone from the door man to the servers and the chefs were amazingly friendly and helpful. The food was stunning, the best we've ever had. We'd like to articularly praise Levi and Jacek. They seemed to lake it as though we were the only people they had to deal with and we had some lovely chats with acek, he even sung happy birthday to my husband! Looking forward to coming back, it's now our favourite restaurant even though we live in Kent!"

Much improved from our last visit some years ago. A fantastic range of quality food, a lot of it cooked to order, backed up with fantastic service. Thoughtful, friendly and efficient staff with nothing being too much trouble. The Glasshouse is not cheap and the large open restaurant space can get noisy, but on the basis of our visit we would return for that special occasion. Of particular note was our server, Edyta, who was simply the best!

Great food, fantastic staff and a buzzing atmosphere. Yes it is pricey but yes it is also worth it for the whole experience.and j want to say a special thank you to Maria Vittoria, she really looked after us and was exceptional, a credit to the Glasshouse. We had the best experience. The staff serving us Jacek and Levi were outstanding! Their attention to detail and their care of us was first class. The interaction with our son was so lovely and even took his meal off the bill. The food was superb! The seafood was our fav but the chef on the steaks was amazing too.

The Glasshouse was lovely and the waiting staff made it an incredible experience. Jacek and Levi were both incredibly brilliant and made our experience fantastic. They were a great team and made sure the children were happy and the adults had all that they needed. The food was lovely, would highly recommend the steak that's cooked fresh infront of you - the person cooking the steak was also amazing (I don't recall his name - but he's one of Levis good friends!). The overall experience was lovely. This was our first time here and the atmosphere and food was top notch. There are multiple food stations, covering majority of the main international cuisines, from cold food to hot food, including cheese and dried meat sections. Everything is fresh and made/cooked in front of you, including the Sushi, Steaks & Pasta. They also employ an expert chef for each regional section by the looks of it. The dessert section is out of this world. Everything is homemade and you can tell it is high quality due to the flavour and attention to detail. Even the marshmallows are fresh. The staff were friendly and attentive, always checking in if we have everything. Only little feedback i’d have, is the drink menu. The wine list is great, along with the spirit list however it was missing good choices of cocktails on the restaurant drinks menu. Not sure if there was another menu? Also - We paid £82pp (higher price over the £68) but there was no Wellington or Lobster but that’s not a deal breaker. I think you really do get the quality and food for the price. Recommended and will be going back again!

Whilst there isn't an abundance of choice, there is still good options, including desert. The service is 10/10 with excellent vibes.

5th time at The Glasshouse. It's my wife's favourite restaurant and a birthday treat every year in October. Looking forward to next year already.

My partner and I visited for our anniversary and were stunned at how beautiful everything was. I have allergies and the servers were amazing, we spoke to the head chef who walked me around every station and pointed out what I couldn’t eat, which was very little, and we came away very full and satisfied. Most certainly be recommending to anyone who will listen. Thank you for everything.

We were there yesterday (Monday). The service is good. The food...It's a buffet and just average. Definitely not for food lovers. The price is far too high for the quality offered.

2nd time round and to be only disappointed for the UK's most expensive buffet NOT to have the Beef Wellington! However, Service, ambience is great. The only highlight to be honest was the dessert station, the rest was just plain - Didn't wow compared to Vegas buffets (only comparing the price here)..

The food quality is no question very good I wouldn’t say excellent but it is very good. The presentation of the sushi, and fish section looks great but I don’t like cold fish so I didn’t try anything from here. The main food stations consist of Indian, pasta/Italian, roast and a mixed possible bbq fusion type station. Overall there is enough to eat but I think it’s limited variety and could be so much better. The Italian station - would of been nice to see some stone baked pizza variety, or fresh burratta, bruchesctta or something. Indian station disappointed me the most. Where is the chicken tikka or biryani or chaat, no authentic samosa or pakora. The chicken korma sauce was tasty but I found the shredded chicken in the sauce very off putting. You get a better meal at M & S! Roast station I was hoping to see beef wellington or a juicy roast beef joint but I had very dry turkey. Lamb looked tasty but I dont eat lamb, the potatoes weren’t very crispy or tasted very fresh side vegetables were ok. Was hoping to see items like steak cuts, or quality burger or something authentic station like Mexican, tapas or something else. The seating area is ok, not very clean quite badly stained seats, it can get very loud. The buffet area is relatively small so it can get a bit crammed but you will have enough time to eat perhaps it’s because there’s not a massive selection. Plates not the cleanest I also found the servers at each buffet station so unfriendly and un polite. If you asked a question it was an abrupt ‘no’ or yes. There is also a desert section which again is ok. I think it should include basic tea and coffee. You won’t leave hungry but you may leave feeling that something was missing. There was T anything that I thought ‘oh wow this is amazing’ it was simply ok. For approx £200 for two people you have to ask yourself is it worth it? Or would you be better off going to a al a carte fine dining restaurant. Also for a self service buffet I’m not sure how a service charge added to your bill is justified I think this should be optional. Venue is very pleasant parking is very difficult with not the best helpful parking staff outside. Staff on the inside not the most at tentative so if you’re not sure where to go good luck trying to find someone. The grounds are pleasant enough to stroll around. Toilets are really small and does not cater for volume of people visiting. Staff were very welcoming for us once we were seated. This review may come across fussy but your paying for was at is supposedly high end cuisine. It’s got to be better than this.

Beautiful food coupled with Vera’s attentive yet relaxed and friendly service meant we had a very lovely leisurely Sunday lunch. The wine was delicious and the cheese course needs a special mention. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday.

As I had specified that it was an 18th birthday celebration, they brought a mini piece of cake with a candle and glasses of prosecco. This was unexpected, and a lovely gesture!

Saw the Netflix series Million Dollar Buffet so booked to celebrate 2 birthdays (son and myself) Enquired if the Thursday dinner would feature the beef wellington as on tv. We were told there should be. Nevertheless we wanted a confirmation, called again and was told they would call us back to reconfirm but never did. On the day we were very disappointed as was told beef wellington would only be for Saturday To add to the disappointment, the food selection was so badly presented as per photos. We were the early for 630pm so it wasn't due to guests messing them up. After we paid for the dinner and as we were leaving, 2 small pieces of cake with a candle was brought out. We didn't finished them as they tasted stale and felt like it was taken from the previous buffet. Dinner came to £315 Now new head chef offered us a discount to come back for another dinner Would you spend another £200 after the initial £315 ???

Had a great family buffet today.... Great food, above all great service by Aga the waitress...she looked after us extremely well and catered all our needs beautifully...will ask for her to attend to us when we go best time.

I've seen reviews about how expensive is the Glasshouse but clearly who said that is because can't recognise the quality after the quantity. Food here taste like food because their suppliers are the best you can find and chefs too. But honestly I'm not here to speak the obvious. I am leaving this review for Charlie the waiter. I've been observing him all night and, as hospitality operator myself, I found him absolutely amazing. He's not a waiter but a performer of one of the most iconic roles in high class restaurant. Is not about his smile and his positive vibes ; is about his moves very accurate and elegant. He looks after his tables, never stressed and he never stop smiling ( not even when you are not at the table and he shapes your napkin ). Charlie if you're are reading this message please don't give up, continue your personal development because you have a bright future in this industry. I hope management is already aware of his potential.

Truly crazy variety of the buffet, both at breakfast and lunch. Very good overall quality, perhaps you just need to pay a little attention to the crudités because a raw prawn didn't really have a great color. Attentive and courteous staff

An absolute amazing place to visit for highly quality food. The set out and selection of different food is something else! Everything is made to such a high quality and standard, everything that we ate was delicious. They cater very well to people with allergies, all the labels make it easy to understand what is contained in what. Further to that, the chefs are available to ask questions about each item of food, we were given guidance by one of the lead chefs to confirm what we could or could not eat. I highly recommend visiting here as the food and service is outstanding.

Probably the best Buffet for the price of £65 pp. (£85 weekends). The food selection was great. The quality of the food was excellent. “This does not include drinks” At the relatively high price, the restaurant was very busy for a Monday evening. They have a variety of live 'cooking stations’ From roasts to pasta to Indian and Chinese. Was exceptional as was the starter section. Can’t forget the puddings the only problem is that your so full “but you can always make room for pudding” Being a self-service Buffet you just keep going back for food until you have had enough. Staff were very attentive at clearing plates and bringing whatever you needed. The atmosphere was very much fine dining and the grounds around the Grove Hotel were beautiful. If someone in your group was vegan she/he would be delighted with the food choice. Highly recommended.

4.4? It's overrated. The main dishes were reasonably priced and satisfactory. Personally, the seafood was TERRIBLE, but the desserts were excellent. The atmosphere was as noisy as a marketplace, with lots of people moving around, making it feel like an airport lounge. The cheapest wine from the sparkling menu, Thomson & Scott Prosecco, was over 50 pounds, but that's the same in other restaurants, so it was fine. The staff service was mechanically polite, but even that became neglected as the hall got busier. Our wine glasses were often empty, and when we eventually asked to have the wine bottle left on the table, the staff put it down as if throwing it. They gave us a cute birthday cake to celebrate a birthday, but we were already full, and since there was already a dessert section, it wasn't appealing at all. I don't think I would visit again.

Simply the best buffet you'll ever visit. Quite enjoyed my lunch of lobster, caviar, prawns and freshly-prepared steak. The steak was so tender that even a standard knife went through it in a single slice. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. They always cleared plates quickly and brought fresh cutlery. It is quite pricey at over £80 per head. Our bill was £330 for 3 people at lunch time (including 1 or 2 drinks each and 12.5% service charge). Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Atmosphere, staff and food was lovely. Only (slight) letdown was dessert station - compared to the very high standards of everything else, we were a little disappointed by desserts. A lot of vegan chocolate puddings, which is a nice option but we didn't see any "normal" ones. Still nice but nothing standout in our view.Otherwise, brilliant experience and the staff are a credit to the business as they are all so polite, attentive, and friendly too.

Absolutely wonderful time. The staff were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food was excellent. So much choice. I will definitely go back and I would recommend thus beautiful resturant.

First time at the Glasshouse for me, and I enjoyed it immensely. It was my partners birthday and her treat. She has been before, for tea with her mother and dined in the other restaurant. I want to come again and stay too.Thank you.

Probably the best Buffet in London for the price of £65 pp. (£85 weekends). The food selection was good. The quality of the food was excellent. At the relatively high price, the restaurant was very busy for a Thursday evening. So no shortage of customers. They have a variety of live 'cooking stations' I particularly enjoyed the hand-prepared spaghetti bolognese. The roast beef was exceptional as was the smoked salmon. Being a self-service Buffet you just keep going back for food until you have had enough. Staff were very attentive at clearing plates and bringing whatever you needed. The ambiance was very much fine dining and the grounds around the Grove Hotel were beautiful. A very pleasant evening was had by all in my party. My only observation was not all the plates were as clean as they should have been and the choice of desserts was a little disappointing. One of our party was vegan and he was delighted with the food choice. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing experience, food and staff were wonderful. Genuinely some of the besg food we have ever had! Only comment to make would be quite a lot of young children running around, would be better if there was a no under 10’s policy!

Went today for my fiancée's birthday after seeing the restaurant online. The service and food were impeccable. A special mention needs to go to our Server Jonathan who was extremely attentive without being intrusive.

One of the best meals I have had in a while, the food itself was excellent as you would expect but the customer service was next level. Not many places manage that perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering and all the staff seemed genuinely engaging and happy to be there.

This is my second visit to The Groove Glasshouse. The food quality was great as same as first visit, the variety of dishes are amazing, the atmosphere was great too.. What make it so special this time was Miss. Mariavittoria who was very attentive and made us very happy when she brought the cakes 🍰 of birthday. Will definitely come again & again and will also recommend for others to come and try the experience. Thanks again to Mariavittoria who made our day🙏

We were seated straightaway. We were advised of how it worked and where certain stations were. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. We had freshly cooked pasta which was perfectly cooked. The staff were attentive but no overbearingly so. It was a nice touch that went we left the table to get something else our plates were removed and new cutlery placed and our napkins folded. It was an experience we would not forget as Fathers day dinners go. The only let down of our visit were the cleanliness of the toilets in the reception area which is no fault of the glasshouse. Would certainly recommend a visit.

Top quality food with a huge choice. Love it

My husband and I enjoyed a superb first visit to the Glasshouse to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The waiting staff who looked after us were excellent - friendly and attentive. The buffet (although a lot more compact than I expected) provided excellent quality food, which included sushi, carvery, Asian food and pizza/pasta. The dessert statio in particular was spectacular. As a vegetarian, I do, however, feel that the buffet would benefit from a greater range of vegetarian options and for the labels to be written more clearly so it's easier to see at a glance which the veggie/vegan options are. The decor and surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the grounds after our lunch.

We were staying for the weekend at The Grove Hotel. Breakfast was delightful, great range of food and drink and plenty for vegetarians! The resturant was very busy so we were happy that we had arrived early to get our large group a table. Mid-morning there was a large queue to enter and it was like a market by the omelette stations! The chefs and waiting staff were extremely friendly and happy to accommodate most request.

We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday, starting the day with breakfast! What a fabulous buffet - from the moment we were welcomed in. Edyta served us so graciously, with a professional and friendly attitude, her colleague Aga added to the attentive but not intrusive service. Going back to the buffet several times, the chefs always smiling and welcoming - eggs royale and pancakes a highlight. Thank you to you all for making it such a great time.
