Nice guy, food horrible, found loads of clumps of cold oil under my kebab, some sides of it was warm and the other side was cold baring in mind I collected it and only live 200 yards from the shop. Disappointed not sure about the other foods but for the doner kebab dont visit it you’ll regret not listening to me after

First time ordering here. For delivery: 3 quarter pounder cheese burgers, 1 large portion of chips and 2 cans of drink. The food tasted good, decent portion sizes. The burger just has cheese in it, no sauces or salad in there. These are chunky/thick cut chips. Everything I ordered arrived, however, one of the major issues was the delivery time. I ordered this at 5:05pm.. then it got to 6:10pm ended up having to call them and was told it was still on it's way, and it didn't turn up until 6:30pm. That's a long wait when the location is about a 5 - 10 minute drive from me. Luckily the food was still warm. Price is a little bit too much for the large chips (£5 something)

Have used this place previously but today was such a disappointment - ordered 2 cod, a saveloy, large chips and a can of Dr Pepper. Confirmation stated an hour for delivery which surprised me but if that’s what it takes, fine. Actually waited an hour and 40 minutes - completely unacceptable. This was after two phone calls to the shop. Opened the bag to find the drink missing - called again to be offered two drinks next time I order - don’t want that because with this level of disorganisation I won’t order again. Then offered to deliver the drink - don’t fancy another hour and 40 minute wait. They agreed to send a refund with the driver. Driver turns up with no refund but three drinks - so they didn’t even listen to the discussion we had. Absolute farce!

Twice I ordered items over the phone, twice they did not have a clue when I turned up to pick item.

Love the burgers and pies. Chips can be nice but not always that's a shame as why not all the time then it would get a five star from me.

So so disappointed !! Have been a customer of the Frying Pan for years and have always enjoyed our meals. However, after ordering from uber this evening with a 35% discount our food was delivered late, cold and sub-standard. Having tried to rectify the situation with management and returning the food to their premises we was only met with hostility and told it was our fault…. they refused us a refund…. you decide??

Ordered at 19:40. Still nothing at 21:00 keep saying "its coming". Full of lies. Shop is only 5 minutes drive away. Useless. Avoid.

I ordered food from frying pan for delivery and it literally took 1 hour and 30 minutes to be delivered. Prior to this order I made another order with them before and they barely put any food and what ever was given to me wasn't put there with care. Its like they just threw it all in the bags to get over with it. Don't buy from frying pan. Food comes cold, not worth the wait.

I ordered from frying pan this evening overall a good exsperience,I had lamb doner and chicken shish combination meal which was very tasty and cooked very well,the only thing was I ordered a meal and it never came with chips as it should ,I give it a respectable three stars based on customer service and a reliable delivery aswell,but I felt the food was overpriced with regards too portion sizes

I give 4 stars as in the evening its got proper grill on and it's nice and fresh.....during a lunchtime time not always is as fresh as u would want.

Average expensive food we have come to expect in Dagenham but three members of staff, not one wareing a facemask and one handling the money then the food with his hands won't be going back the pandemic is not over and won't be going back to them when it is.

Literally the best doner kebab in London for the price. The quality in the lamb doner is amazing. The lamb shish and mix doner is also great. I always get takeaway from here once a week

Bought a lamb donar kebab from there and it was cold. Will not spend money there again.

So disappointed in the delivery service and food. Order came without salad and sauces for 7 kebabs plus they was late.

The chips were hard, and the food is so so greasy and its gave me a really upset stomach

absulote sh*t. took my money.didnt give full order. called them they said30mins till I have the rest of the order. no show called 45mins after , they said there to busy to do anything. they hung up on. now wont answer. been calling back for 20 mins now still trying. the man on the phone was rude as f*ck.

Actually I like frying pan,I find the people who run it are very friendly as i have not long moved to the area, I ordered lamb doner and chicken doner although my husband as me put the lamb doner under the grill indoors as he likes it burnt but that's my fault if i asked the shop they would do it for me, but the donor's are ok, as we are used to Alan's in Barbados E14 xx

Amazing food, but a while ago they increased menu prices and now we rarely order from here, however if money is not an issue this is the best chip shop in Dagenham but they do not sell fish here

The best place to order from in Dagenham if it is chips, burgers or any type of sausage or kebabs that you want, it is just a shame they do not serve fish, but still, every other type of food they serve tastes amazing and is always delivered hot

nice improvement, on this visit the chips was nice and firm on the out side an soft in the middle , rest of the food is on its usual good tasty quality .. still good size portions for the price

I have been going frying pan for years and years now but the chips are just not right any more and really puts me of going back there my kids also did love it from there but not any more it was the best chip shop around but I don't go any more

Best chicken shish in east London

Con merchants ordered a meal for 2 one had half the order missing when it ginally turned up one hour and 20 minutes agter ordering promised rest of meal would be delivered in 10-15 minutes and still waiting its been another hour and a half ended up having to cook so wasted my evening and conned me out of money !!

nice tasty main foods .. but shame about the chips , chicken shish with , fresh salad , fried fish ( cod ) done to perfection . seems a little expensive, but due to the large portions it's good to Excellent value..+ friendly staff and a local delivery service. good choice of meals.. makes it well worth a visit if it weren't for the chips i would have given 5 stars

Order large chicken shish there was about 8 small cube of chicken i have used this chip shop for over 20yrs so i know there was only 1 swer of chicken not 2 as it should have been put there prices and and giving you less talk about rip you off

well I disagree the chips used to be nice and crispy but they just don't seem to taste the same, also curry sauce to thick and flavourless, like I said before I have used you nearly everyweek for 4 years but I won't be using anymore.

I've had my fair share of fish & chips around London, but this is hands down the best hole in the wall location for it! Their portions are HUGE and they make it fresh for about £8. They've definitely improved their technique over time because the last time I visited, the batter wasn't too thick, and it was crispy and the fish fell apart and melted in your mouth. SO GOOD. I also don't like skin on my fish, and this one didn't have any, so I was a happy chappie. I haven't had any of their kebabs or other stuff, but the meat roasting on the spit sure smelled yummy! We will always get our fish & chips from this spot every time we visit!
