The Frying Pan in Barking and Dagenham

Been coming here for years and they never dissapoint. Food is always well cooked and fresh infront of you.

Waited over an hour for food then once it came it was stone cold absolutely disgusting and the service by phone was terrible so rude and sarcastic. Never have a problem when the lady on shift everything always correct.

After we kept phoning the restaurant and got a text to say it would be delivered by 7.30pm which was already an hour late we didn’t receive the food until 8.15 which was 2 hours late in the end

took ages to come, even the dogs turned their noses up at the chicken

Only issue is there was no pitta with the kebab. Otherwise it was amazing first time ordering but definitely not the last. Thank you for fantastic food

over 2 hours late cold food and missing half the stuff

Ordered 1/4 roast chicken and chips. The chips were vile dry horrible, some with skin on, some no skin, loads of them with black eyes in them, the chicken was a manky leg that's not I believe is 1/4 roast chicken that's normally wing with breast meat. Put whole lot in bin ,won't be ordering from there no more really really gone down used to be great now wouldn't go back ever again.

The chefs there are very good chefs. We went there to eat, they cooked wonderful meals for us, thank you

Nice guy, food horrible, found loads of clumps of cold oil under my kebab, some sides of it was warm and the other side was cold baring in mind I collected it and only live 200 yards from the shop. Disappointed not sure about the other foods but for the doner kebab dont visit it you’ll regret not listening to me after

First time ordering here. For delivery: 3 quarter pounder cheese burgers, 1 large portion of chips and 2 cans of drink. The food tasted good, decent portion sizes. The burger just has cheese in it, no sauces or salad in there. These are chunky/thick cut chips. Everything I ordered arrived, however, one of the major issues was the delivery time. I ordered this at 5:05pm.. then it got to 6:10pm ended up having to call them and was told it was still on it's way, and it didn't turn up until 6:30pm. That's a long wait when the location is about a 5 - 10 minute drive from me. Luckily the food was still warm. Price is a little bit too much for the large chips (£5 something)

Have used this place previously but today was such a disappointment - ordered 2 cod, a saveloy, large chips and a can of Dr Pepper. Confirmation stated an hour for delivery which surprised me but if that’s what it takes, fine. Actually waited an hour and 40 minutes - completely unacceptable. This was after two phone calls to the shop. Opened the bag to find the drink missing - called again to be offered two drinks next time I order - don’t want that because with this level of disorganisation I won’t order again. Then offered to deliver the drink - don’t fancy another hour and 40 minute wait. They agreed to send a refund with the driver. Driver turns up with no refund but three drinks - so they didn’t even listen to the discussion we had. Absolute farce!

Twice I ordered items over the phone, twice they did not have a clue when I turned up to pick item.

Love the burgers and pies. Chips can be nice but not always that's a shame as why not all the time then it would get a five star from me.

So so disappointed !! Have been a customer of the Frying Pan for years and have always enjoyed our meals. However, after ordering from uber this evening with a 35% discount our food was delivered late, cold and sub-standard. Having tried to rectify the situation with management and returning the food to their premises we was only met with hostility and told it was our fault…. they refused us a refund…. you decide??

Ordered at 19:40. Still nothing at 21:00 keep saying "its coming". Full of lies. Shop is only 5 minutes drive away. Useless. Avoid.

I ordered food from frying pan for delivery and it literally took 1 hour and 30 minutes to be delivered. Prior to this order I made another order with them before and they barely put any food and what ever was given to me wasn't put there with care. Its like they just threw it all in the bags to get over with it. Don't buy from frying pan. Food comes cold, not worth the wait.

I ordered from frying pan this evening overall a good exsperience,I had lamb doner and chicken shish combination meal which was very tasty and cooked very well,the only thing was I ordered a meal and it never came with chips as it should ,I give it a respectable three stars based on customer service and a reliable delivery aswell,but I felt the food was overpriced with regards too portion sizes

I give 4 stars as in the evening its got proper grill on and it's nice and fresh.....during a lunchtime time not always is as fresh as u would want.

Average expensive food we have come to expect in Dagenham but three members of staff, not one wareing a facemask and one handling the money then the food with his hands won't be going back the pandemic is not over and won't be going back to them when it is.

Fair prices, tasty foods, still to improve the hygienic conditions

Chicken and lamb donar is fresh....fat chips too
