Cracking micro pub in a very select area of the city without being 'snobby' in any way. Great selection of ale always available, however, where this little pub really scores in in the cider offering. 39 on offer on this visit.

A good range of beers were available. The landlord was very friendly and helpful even suggested trying one before purchase to make sure that it was suitable.

Had a very enjoyable session yesterday lunchtime at the Frothblowers pub -it was their seventh birthday. Great beers, great atmosphere, an excellent host and complementary cupcakes. The celebrations were added to by several Friends of the AOFB meeting there too. (Ancient Order of Froth Blowers). This friendly pub has several largish tables which encourages people to chat together. They had several beers on tap and I enjoyed the ‘Gollop with Zest’ was just right for lunchtime.

A friendly pub. Enjoyed real ale here with friends. The Frotherblowers pub is helpfully located on the route of the frequent Stagecoach Citi 1 bus – and there is a free car park on the side. 'Frothies' is a hidden gem – highly recommended.

Was a little disappointed. Heard great things, but the beer was flat, and although busy, wasn't what I'd expected

I love real cider pubs and this is an outright winner with 39 real ciders on ! Excellent tasting notes which is nice to see. Warm welcome. Wish this was my local I would be in here all the time lol.

Super place, great beers, no music and friendly folk! Love it. Next visit, a year later - and nothing has changed ! Sunday, 4 p.m. and the place is heaving, standing room only, but no trouble to reach the bar, everyone is so friendly. The beer is great, the company convivial, the boss and his staff are so welcoming and helpful its like a time warp into an almost forgotten time of warm sociability and calm. I can't wait to visit again.

Always friendly great little place

We have visited many times and always had a good experience the real ale and cider is always top quality they do bottled lager's as well as wine and soft drinks no food but there is a Chinese one side and a Indian the other and they allow you to eat your food in the pub .also well behaved dogs on loads are allowed

One of the 6 places to get a really well kept pint of beer in Peterborough. Also a well deserved winner of best cider pub. Lots of social events. If you want to eat just get a pizza from the place next door or a Chinese From the place on the other side and you are welcomed in to have a beer or cider with that. Really, what's not to like. 🙂

Really liked the place. Have been meaning to go here for ages. Chances upon it one afternoon and enjoyed my visit. You'll get a very decent pint of something here although you may not recognise the name on the tap or bottle. It's a micro pub so in my guess suitable for 30 to 40 people at a pinch. Has seating outside and dog friendly. Not many new places opening up so a please to see this one well supported. Has an Indian and Chinese either side if your peckish.

This micro pub is quite superb. Very friendly staff and friendly customers too. Fab selection of beers and ciders as well as wines and snacks. A great atmosphere and nowhere better in Peterborough to sit and enjoy a pint.

A great place for real ale (and cider) lovers in Peterborough. Always a big selection. Today there was 9 ales and all in tip top condition. I always have halves in here so can try as many as I can. 6 stars.

Looks like nothing from the outside. Whilst this long, narrow micropub is one of the smallest pubs I have been to, the choice of beers and ciders is incredible. I've only been the once whilst visiting Peterborough but it seemed a very lively and friendly place. If you like Fosters, you probably shouldn't bother. If you like a good pint though, definitely worth a visit.
