Used this place years ago. Dont think it’s the same anymore. Nice staff let down by poor quality food. Just had a breakfast £7.95. Sausages was cheap quality and the bacon was tough and over cooked. The hash brown was chewy and had a strange taste. Felt like it had been pre cooked and warmed in a microwave. The meal wasn’t hot when it was served to me. Beans were ok and the mushrooms were hardly cooked. All in all bad value for money. My wife had a jacket potato with prawn Marie Rose which tasted heavily of tomato sauce and a bit vinegar laden. Not what we expected and won’t be back in a hurry.

This was a real disappointment today. We went into day for a banana milkshake, chocolate milkshake and a cheese and beetroot sandwich and a baguette. The milkshakes arrived warm and thick and were not cold and seemed to be made with cheap powder and water, they were undrinkable. Both the sandwich and baguette turned up over 20 minutes later (we were the only customers when ordered our food), there was barely any cheese on either and way too much vingered beetroot. We paid £14 for an inedible lunch and drink and will certainly not be going back. A waste of money and the 2 young adults didn't seem that bothered. You need to get better staff and better produce if you are going to charge these prices. Milkshakes are meant to be cold, with milk icecream and flavouring.

This place could be great but the service and portions for price let it down. Each time I've been in, the staff members seem disgruntled, distracted and aren't very friendly. My order has been wrong several times now and when I ordered a jacket potatoe with beans and cheese I was given literally two tablespoons of beans and barely any cheese. The prices are far too high for portion size and each time I've been they seem to get smaller and smaller. The ingredients seem to have changed and to me are most definitely not deli quality but the prices gabebt changed to reflect that. Unfortunately, I no longer recommend as it seems to have gone down hill.

Visited recently and was very surprised by the totally refurbished French Deli. It feels so clean, warm and welcoming. Food all looks really good and fresh, staff very polite and cheery and the addition of tables means you can sit in the warm and enjoy a drink or food. The French Deli were very welcoming of my toddler son and accomadated his picky needs with no bother. I loved the properly made lattes and hot chocolates. I'll definitely return to the French Deli especially with the changes made by the new owners, definitely changed for the better.

We enjoyed our food at the French Deli, a couple of us had the leek and potato soup, which was delicious. We decided to eat outside because the weather was nice however a member of staff came outside and told us ‘these seats are only for paying customers.’ Her tone was very rude. One of our friends did have her own sandwich but we had bought food from them. We were very disappointed because we have many wonderful experiences there before, it was a shame a member of staff would be that rude to us.

Really nice place and hand made food that looks delicious. Unfortunately I didn't realise they would warm up my sausage roll in the microwave, so it ended up all soggy and greasy. I'm sure some people wouldn't mind this, but it is the worst thing you can do to nice fluffy pastry as far as I am concerned. She also put sugar in my cup of tea, then insisted she hadn't, so I didn't enjoy my tea either. This meant I didn't enjoy my lunch and literally ate it because we had paid for it. However, my partner had a lovely panini and wanted sugar in his tea, so really enjoyed his lunch.

Have used this deli ever since it was opened by a genuine French food-loving chef and his wife. Superb from day one. Still maintaining the high standards it sets across the broad food range in which it specialises. Superb vegetarian lasagne (large and small). Our cousins takes home to Wales half a dozen large whenever they visit. Supplies tea sourced from a high-quality small producer/importer in Somerset (Miles of Minehead). Look 'em up on the web - try 'Smugglers Blend' or 'West Country' for a different experience. Haven't experienced anything negative about this little West Midlands bakery gem and we shop there almost every week. Try their Spinach Filo pastries for a superb lunchtime snack - you'll be back for more.

Well, Let's start with earlier this day I had been on a long road trip to the Forest of Dean after I was very hungry. Decided that we'd go for an Indian as we do. Got to the Indian at around 5.12pm we walked and were greeted with a smile which was nice as I was a bit hesitant about coming to a new Indian. We then sat down at our table and started munching on our poppadoms. Poppadoms were odd but alright 👍. We then get asked what we want so as I love butter chicken 🐔 I went for a butter chicken. 8 mins later our chips and stuff come out. Chips were defo frozen and naan bread was very doughy. 2 mind later our food comes and mine has nice garnish on top making it look all nice 😋 disclaimer it wasn't. I the put my very hard rice on the plate and begin eating. As I was eating the first piece of chicken I noticed a very large amount of liquid sitting in the bowl. I then look around more and noticed there is no curry it's just pure liquid. This "curry" is a sloppy cinnamon sugary soup. NEVER EVER GET THIS!! .Sugar Sloppy Soup. Once I've taken a few bites I felt a sudden pain in my stomach it wasn't good. I then tell my dad I'm not feeling to good so we decide let's go as this is a horrible experience. We get to the front counter and the man is just blanking us on the phone not taking any notice that we want to go. He then notices us and let's us pay then he tries to make me feel better with some posh minty chocolate just no. Anyway we come home and my dad is sick all around our house. Later that evening I vomit and continously vomit through the night and so does my dad! If u want a sugary sloppy cinnamon messy soup order this " Special butter Chicken". Thanks bye 👋

My father recently stayed at the hotel (booked for 3 nights, only stayed for 1 and did not get the refund back for the 2 remaining nights). He also received a parking fine even though he registered his car plate at the reception. I called on his behalf to ask the hotel to cancel the parking fine. I spoke to Catherine who is the manager there, she reassured me that if I email her the fine letter and the invoice she will email the company to cancel the fine. 2 weeks go by, I haven't hear anything. I then went on to contest the fine myself and sent all the evidence to them (email correspondence with the hotel). I then, for the 4th time, tried to call the hotel and to get through to Catherine. She could not recall talking to me 2 weeks prior so I reminded her of the situation, and told her I also contested the fine. She then started raising her voice at me saying 'now you gonna lose the case! I told you to leave it with me!', btw she never told me not to contest it and if I do I'd lose the case (even though my dad was a guest at the hotel and registered his car). I told her I was worried because it's been 2 weeks and no communication from her, she then said 'you worry too much' I kindly asked her to lower her voice and try to understand my frustration- mid sentence she put the phone down on me, I tried calling back- phone engaged, they most likely blocked my number. I was absolutely shocked- not only they didn't solve the issue, the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional without any desire to help. This interaction is not even worth 1 star. Absolutely terrible service!! Please avoid this place at all costs!
