Absolutely awful don’t bother going for breakfast as you will not be served until lunch. No one in there but still a 45 minute wait for eggs on toast! now here is the kicker the scrambled eggs was on the toast and the butter sent separately. How’s that work. ? It doesn’t ! Maybe the staff should ask simple questions! Never again.

Pub is better after new renovation, amazing staff with some new faces added to the team. Manager always smiling and friendly with food and drinks on point

Had great lunch. Menu is huge with lots of choices, we were lucky enough to have nice weather so we chose to eat outside on the very comfy furniture. Staff were super attentive and polite. We had the classic menu 2 meals for £14, wow! Not huge, just the right size for lunch and very very nice. My gammon egg n chips with the trimmings on a skillet was lovely. I dont know how they can do such good food at this bargain price. Seriously, why would anyone pay a fast food chain even more money for a luke warm floppy burger meal when you can sit down with an excellent plated meal? Well done Lutley Oak, I will deffo be returning to try out more of that amazing menu. And congrats on a brilliant refurb!

1st time here but excellent service and very nice

The staff were friendly, the place is okay. The menus I felt were okay, not a lot of choice for vegetarians. I ordered the flat bread vegetarian option, however this came out looking awful, hardly any salad, just some leaves; no rocket like on the photo. Portion was small. Salad seemed to be an issue on all the meals. Presented like it had been took back out of a bin…

Came for lunch with my mom, lovely food well priced , Hayley who served us was friendly and very helpful. Morgan gave good knowledge on the bar and all round great experience !!

We had a lovely meal on a Saturday afternoon, the friendly staff accommodated our group of 15 people easily (after booking!) The food was all delicious, was brought out quickly and no one had to wait long until we were all served. It was a great atmosphere and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Waited 50 minutes for a drink, a further 1 hour for food which was horrible the cutlerywas dirty if they put more staff on this issue would be solved and the staff did less talking..... Glasses were stacked all over the bar, waiting staff walking round doing nothing..... we was told they were caught out today but what about every other day?

Really poor experience today, popped in to charge the car, decided to stay for some food. Let’s start with the bar service! One member of staff serving the queue, the queue was out the door. One member of staff running between the kitchen and pouring/delivering drinks to the app orders. We went inside for food, we ordered on the app as the queue was still out the door. The food came in a reasonable time, however it had clearly been sat under the lamps for some time. The burger was overcooked, the gammon came out the same time as the burger, it certainly wasn’t sizzling, the tandoori chicken came out 10 mins later, again no sizzling and the bhaji was undercooked. The pub needs to take on more staff to cope with the demand.

Chuffed with this find! Excellent food, superb service, matched by welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Seeking somewhere half way to Somerset to see my parents over Easter. Worked well. Will come again!

One of the few pubs left with a classic pub atmosphere. Management were really accommodating too.

Great value and excellent service. Been here many times and always great service from the staff (especially Hayley who always goes the extra mile to make our visit feel special) the menu is good and some great deals during the week (e.g. Bogof on burgers Thursday and two meals for £13.99). They have recently go through a refresh which has given the place a fresher feel as some areas were beginning to look tired. Sign up for offers on birthdays and free drinks. Downside I would say is the parking as not many spaces and some spaces can be quite small when busy. Friendly place, music not loud and lovely outside area with large outdoor TV for football etc.

Great atmosphere and great food, food never fails and always delivered to a high good standard.

Went on a nice sunny day with the dogs! Was serverd by Kirsty. Had two gins and a pint of cider. The Gins were garnished amazingly and the cider was so refreshing. Ordered 3 sausages for the dogs, the lovely Nina Brought them out with a smile and was amazing 👏 😊

If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful place to eat, with friendly staff, good food, and a tidy comfortable environment then this is the ideal place. No need to book, just rock up and enjoy

Great place for a family lunch, our food was very tasty. In particular we loved Shona, she was so friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back!

Had amazing steak in my last visit was tender like a fillet mignon but flavourful like a ribeye and had brilliant service from the duty manager I'm sure her name was Emma, will be back soon 😁

Two Sundays in a row now... This place has taken the piss, excuse after excuse. We only wanted to have some breakfast and every time we seem to turn up, we get turned away. Won't be attempting a third time now!!

Great pub but desperately need to put more bar staff on . Walked in and straight out last night because of the queue. One member of staff behind the bar with about 20 people queuing.

Not particularly happy, managed to get a table saturday which was pleased with as its was mothersday weekend, had power cut after we had placed our food order ( not pubs fault) , took 30 minutes for someone to come round and tell us which should of been the manager the poor girl sent round was lovely but some customers wernt very nice to her, it's the following Tuesday and still received no phone call or refund for food we never managed to get, very poor customer service on the managers part not the staff. A power cut cannot he helped but a manager with experience would of made sure the paying customers were well informed immediately instead we were left sat in the literal dark and are out of pocket.

Pretty typical of the main brewers now. Green King, Bass and Marstons are all pretty similar with regard to the average food, poor choice of beers and prices which are probably above where they should be. The car park could do with being bigger as the pub itself is quite roomy. The staff were pretty decent on our visit. The food came out in a reasonable time. People accessing the patio area and leaving the doors open, caused a draught, which was annoying. The food was ok, but below average I would say...all of the above brewers though are fairly ordinary...I think Wetherspoons is better value and usually has a good choice of beers. I'm aware that my local Marstons pub have meals bought in now rather than being prepared in the pub and it has substantially gone down hill....I'm unsure if Green King do the same, but I suspect so. I would say that it could be a much better pub if it was a free house.

It was somewhere local we could all meet at. We took a member of the family who was here from the USA.. would probably go again if reviews get better.

Popped in today for lunch had the Carolina reaper wings and garlic giabatta to start and then two burger meals the food was excellent the staff great the only gripe was a pair of inconsiderate dog owners letting them sit on the chairs and eating off the tables not good at all I'm a dog lover but this is totally unacceptable I hope the pub chain will do something about this otherwise it will not do the business any good and put others off visiting

Lutley oak is our go to for Sunday lunch and has been for years. Staff are always lovely, food is reasonably priced and delicious. The decor is very rustic and homey. It's also pretty well accessible for disabled people. Best pub grub around.

The ribeye steak was so dry my partner choked on it and is still experiencing problems with his throat (it's now Wednesday). We sent the meal back and he had the gammon and eggs which were ok. My friend asked for double mash as she doesn't like roasties. It came with roast potatoes so the meal was sent back, the meal returned without the roast potatoes and the extra mash came later. The first Carling was fine. After that the Carling was flat so we asked for Coors which was flat. We spoke to the manager and she did apologise and tried to explain that sometimes there's an issue with the steak. My partner used to be a butcher and our friend is a chef so the excuse she gave us wasn't really accepted although she was very professional. We were there at 18:00 and have visited a number of times without an issue. The ladies toilets were a disgrace so we informed a member of staff they needed to be attended two. I personally saw two members of staff go into the ladies and yes they did try to clean them but they still were not up to standard. We all felt let down and all four of us said we wouldn't be visiting again. It's such a shame as my partner and I were regular customers.

The food has improved recently after being poor for a time. Great range of lagers but lacks a range of beers. Menu is good Could do with a make over and the toilets stink

Excellent service. The food was fantastic I had the slow roast beef with chips tonight I've had this before. I think it's my favorite meal there. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going there again.

Called in here with our grandson for lunch before he went home. I was told there was a wait on food so expected the wait to a certain extent. We both ordered all day breakfasts and the little one had chicken nuggets. When they eventually arrived he did eat most of his because he was hungry but ours wasn’t good at all. The sausage was greasy and tasted like the cheap frozen ones, the eggs were hard, the tomato and toast were burnt to the extent it just snapped apart. The only thing I eat was the bacon. I hadn’t got the energy to complain especially after listening to the table next to us having to complain about their meal. It’s been quite a while since we visited for more or less the same reason, we definitely won’t go back again.

Fancied a burger, was sadly the wrong choice. The burger itself was obviously a cheap processed frozen one that was “flame grilled” till chewy, wish id have said something but it was mega busy and I couldn’t be bothered at the time. Also had some boneless wings which were cooked till crispy throughout. Was a bit of a shame. ☹️

Great range of drinks. Could do with John smiths and san Miguel back. Toilets are disgusting and need a refresh. Staff are friendly

I had chicken mix and the chicken skewer wasnt cooked it was still pink inside so asked for another one and waitress was a bit rude about it, when fresh one came chicken still wasn't cooked properly so ended up not eating it. Didn't enjoy meal at all. First time of having bad meal there so was very disappointed this time.

Awful quality of beer. Food was cheap and OK, although some bits of it were cold so maybe they need a new microwave.

Went a couple month ago with the woman, had a couple cheap bevs through a nice two for one deal and had some saucy ribs - onion rings were banging - all in all great night. Kirsty was an absolute hero 🫡
