Had a great experience for our stag do. Nice and easy entry and the staff were super friendly.

Was with my friends singing karaoke in their karaoke room. We had a blast! It was amazing!

We had the pleasure of attending the Fox and hired their karaoke room. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic and we were so well looked after by the team. There was a great selection of music and everything was super clean and aesthetically gorgeous. Thanks so much for such an amazing night, I will be recommending this to everyone!

We came for Karaoke, the staff were brilliant and a lot of fun, the room was fab, and the food was great. They pour a banging pint too, which I find becoming a rarity these days!

WOW!! Amazing Xmas Party the food was beautiful and sang the night away in the new Karaoke room top draw stuff!!

1 star for the horrible service charge policy where the owners take 5% as a fee for collecting it. Give your staff all of it.

Good craft beer selection in fridge, nothing unusual on taps (Beavertown etc). I didn't eat but the menu sounded great and the food I saw on the next table loved lovely. I've marked the atmosphere according to the fact there were very few people in but I'm sure it's good when busy.

Booked the Karaoke room which was brilliant. The team was great, especially the guy that got us set up. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for a name.

Zeer goede ontvangst aan de bar. Sluit vroeg. Bierflesjes kan je zelf uit de frigo nemen.

My first time to this pub today. Really nice "traditional" city pub. Good selection of drinks. Good service friendly service from staff. Good atmosphere as well.

Sweet little pub, sort of old and sort of new. a nice place for a nibble and brew

No service in the garden area , I will order an bottle primitivo red wine , duck and orange as starter and ribeye steak 10 oz plus dessert , after 20 minutes I wait for one waitress, I go inside the bar and the bartender said to me I need order everything from my phone and pick up all by myself at the bar because he said no staff. Very bad

Came to watch the rugby with friends. Unfortunately the live stream conneciton was poor constantly stuttering and interrupting. Sounds was poor too. Food was decent.

Underwhelming lunch experience, the servers seemed uninterested on our arrival and once we’d ordered a selection of foods most arrived reasonably promptly. However, the burger we asked for didn’t and the server blatantly accused us of lying. Looking at the bill, we at the bill, we weren’t charged for the burger so clearly this was a misunderstanding (even though we asked what it came with before confirming that we wanted one), the blunt accusations of lying by the server were unreasonable. As it was, given the rest of the food was uninspired and mediocre, we weren’t dissatisfied that we didn’t get the burger too. Generic pub food at a premium price, unfortunately cannot recommend.

Food is so delicious and Liam the best waiter in town. The atmosphere ist fantastic.

Nice outside the front to stand when sunny. Plastic glasses outside though and some staff were a bit miserable.

American review - great neighborhood pub. Quick service and good music. We walked by this bar at 5:30p and it looked like a block party in the streets. Walked by again at 8:15p and the block party was still going on (Thursday). Decided to have a pint and check it out. We will be back. Not a huge space inside so at 9pm they shut down the outside party and it was a bit crammed inside.

A bit pricey but otherwise solid. To be expected in London! Food is delicious and fast, good range of drinks available, and the staff are always helpful and efficient.

Nice vibe with loads of plants and just a great looking pub with some VERY tasty food. Staff were friendly.

Tried this place as they offer Korean Fried Chicken which is dairy & gluten free. Arrived to a busy pub, looked ok, but no one eating. When ordering at the bar, the staff seemed disinterested. Found a table upstairs. The food arrived about 20mins later. We had ordered the thighs (2) & wings. Imagine a frozen KFC, over cooked, then reheated and then all flavour removed & you have an idea of how this chicken tasted. Really poor. Will not return.

Best steak I've had in years will definitely be back staff could not help you more well doneif you are in the area make it worth a visit

Great traditional London pub. Good range of drinks and nice ambience. Only slight disappointment was that they do not serve food at the weekends according to staff! Otherwise would have given a 5 star review.

Best pub in Twickenham lily was great

Unreasonable expectation of drinking time! Last call was at 22.15 and at 22.35 they told us you had FIFTEEN minutes to finish your drink after last call. Had to leave half our beer. Otherwise good ambiance and ok selection.

Friendly more traditional pub. Friendly bar staff and prices not to bad.

📍 The Fox 🌍 Shoreditch 🏛 Attractive brown tiled corner pub with a warm glow from the street. A cut above most other pubs locally indoors, with plenty of plants and low key quality matching furniture. Even the lights and windows are appealing to the eye. 🍺 Not too exciting for an otherwise classy venue - Camden, Staropramen, Beavertown, San Miguel etc. Could be better. ℹ️ The Fox is a Monday-Friday pub, unusual in this area. 🙋‍♂️ My view - I'm glad to have finally made it in here after years of trying. It's upmarket, warm and visually enjoyable. A well done pub which just needs a couple more experimental pints and it could achieve greatness.

My Book Club's annual Christmas dinner has been here for 2 years; I missed last year's because I had Covid, but they kindly gave me a doggy bag. I put its dreadful quality down to the delay in getting it, but this year I discovered it was par for the course. We were having the so-called Japanese Christmas menu; I understand that this was invented by the Japanese in response to the GIs in the occupying forces after the war, who got Kentucky Fried Chicken sent over from the US. If this is true, it's just another war crime [albeit minor] to lay at the door of the Yanks. The Japanese version of a Christmas dinner - and this was costing nearly £40 a head, remember - comes all at once, with huge, gut-trashing amounts of chicken, smaller quantities of vegetables to go with it, and tiny amounts of sauce which might make it less dru if they came in sufficient quantities, although it has to be said they're nothing to write home about. Our booked room was on the second floor, and to get to it we had to literally force our way through drunk yobs outside the pub who would barely let us in. I know a pub isn't responsible for its customers, but this lot made the reason clear why all the sensitive people are moving to New Cross. We had a dining room next to the kitchen on the second floor, and had to brave a private party on the first floor seriously dedicated to getting rat-arsed. The noise was deafening thrusting onto our floor, and left us both struggling to make ourselves heard and fending off sick headaches. Now to the food: 1) a coleslaw, very nice, I'd like the recipe. 2) A potato salad consisting of nothing but uncooked potato and a bit of carrot, no discernable dressing, no concept. 3) Courgettes in batter, overcooked and overspiced for a delicate vegetable. 4) Cauliflower in batter, well cooked 5) Baby corn in batter, OK. As you can see, they're big on batter, but not a delicate batter, but great gobs of it. Not enough veg to go with the main meat. The meat consisting of chicken and chicken. Skewers of bits put on for no discernable reason, dry and chewy. Presumably a nod at satay, but without the peanut sauce. The other chicken was clearly factory-bred, judging from its tastelessness, but cased in a batter so hard it makes your gums bleed. Literally - I had the bloodstains on my hankie to prove it. The house wines have changed recently and both white Chardonnay and red Merlot are good. But we were left alone without a waiter for an age and eventually had to go to in search of one to get some more wine for our party of 8. Even after doing so it took another 15 minutes to get service. Let's be charitable. It's towards Christmas, there's a lot of customers, and you want to make money. But if you run a restaurant in a pub you can't add it on as an optional extra. The staff here are young, keen and incompetent, a case for Gordon Ramsay if ever there was one. I don't know if we'll be having a vote on where we go next year as a club, but I won't be voting for The Fox.

The Fox is a very lively bar and definitely recommended. A few decent beers and bottles too, though I was slightly disappointed they didn't have any quality craft stouts, but that's probably me being fuzzy 😉 The red rice ale (Japanese) I had I would certainly recommend. Lovely body and flavour.

Nice beer and shoreditch atmosphere. Amazingly they also provide fully gluten free food which was quite a surprise

Well maintained, cosy bar/pub. Good selection of drinks including a nice Belgium beer. I sat upstairs where there is a balcony but the flowers are too high to see over, not going to mark them down for it though.

It's a great place to stop in for a pint and a quick bite. The service is friendly and efficient. I enjoyed relaxing with a couple of drinks.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. We werden goed ontvangen en ook goed geholpen. De barman gaf ons veel tips over Londen! Zeker de moeite waard om hier een gezellig drankje te doen. Ze hebben veel keuze qua bieren en andere alcoholische versnaperingen. Ook boven hebben ze een leuk buiten terras.

No atmosphere. Seemed very clicky. Bland tasting beer selection. Shame as I imagine it used to be a stunning boozer.

I had the fried chicken thighs and potato tots. Food was hot and delicious. Portions were huge- I managed to eat half. Really delicious gluten-free grub.

Typical pub serving food including vegetarian dishes. Might sound a bit silly but really good quality paper straws.

Absolutely beautiful pub, the interior is great. Staff are friendly, there’s a lovely terrace upstairs. The only downfall was the food being a bit too salty. Will visit again, probably for drinks only :)

City pub with a "locals" feel. Airy room upstairs (with small out side terrace) if it gets too busy downstairs.

Been going to this pub for years. I've always enjoyed it but disappointed to see that they now add service charge when ordering at the bar. It is non transparent as they don't tell you. A sign on the bar may make the policy clearer. Won't be returning.

Recently re-done and "not wot it once woz" alas. £8 for a cider + coke. It may be Brexit inflation, but seems a tad ridiculous. And when paying over the odds, you also expect the staff to be a little more friendly and not sneer in annoyance, when they don't both to properly take your drinks order. I am being generous with 3 stars given my experience, but I suppose the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and i won't be rushing back to this local any time soon.

The Fox is a lovely venue, Trad London street corner pub belting out music, lovely clean and inviting. Unfortunately, had to lose a star as no cask on offer from the three available pumps. Also food not on offer at the moment, usually there is! Still a lovely pint and hopefully all will be up and running soon.

Nice- though visited on tier 2, so only visited the terrace. Service was efficient and quick- the terrace could really benefit from a lamp heating/outdoors heating as it is getting pretty chilled but I guess it is nice in a warm weather

Ordered beer and 'Coop Chicken and chips' came to £17, chicken was tasteless, incredibly oily and the batter was pants. Chips tasted of nothing. Would have given 1 Star but the pint was alright. Shoddy stuff.

Great ales in tech alley. The pub where startups celebrate that funding/commiserate that lost deal. Food is a bit something and. Othing, but they pull a good pint.

We held a company event at The Fox after a very long team building day, and Honza was an absolute star at organising. He even stayed late to make sure everything went smoothly- which it most definitely did. We hired the upstairs area for 53 people, and it was perfect. Everyone LOVED the Christmas Nibbles menu (excellent value for the price as well), and we had our own bartender to get our drinks quickly. All around great team and lovely venue. Definitely will be back in the future :)

Fantastic little pub near my head office in Shoreditch. Great staff and a great atmosphere as normally busy with people going in after work. The rooftop is also great to get away from the main pub area. Cannot fault this place and love going here for a couple of drinks when I Shoreditch.
