Nice British pub doing exactly what you’d expect. Very friendly staff and regulars, nice party or band space to the rear. Good menu and good beer. Blue burger was great with triple cooked chips

The nachos were out of this world. Staff were so friendly. Quirky and funky. We will definitely be coming back.

Stayed with our camper van for one night. Did call ahead to get permission Was there in time for Sunday lunch, which was delicious and generous portions. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely visit again

Stayed over in my campervan and ate in the pub in the evening. Excellent place to park a van, away from the main road, so quiet. Food excellent and staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, help me with the dogs. The locals were equally lovely too, so even though I was on my own, I had a lot of fun. Thanks so much, great pub!

What a fabulous venue to host our training, social event. The function room is beautifully decorated and was perfect for what we needed. The staff couldn’t have done more for us. Super friendly, helpful and kind. So much free parking to the rear and ideally located right on the A30. Thank you so much we had a fabulous time and will be booking our Christmas party with you.

We called ahead and got the thumbs up from the owner to park our motorhome for the night. It was their trivia night so the carpark was fairly full. Thankfully there’s plenty of space so we were able to tuck ourselves away in a nice quiet level corner. No camper facilities provided at this one, but the pub itself was charming. The staff were very inviting, the food was great, and the drinks were cold. We would highly recommend this pub as a camper or as a regular patron.

Found this place on Google and tried it as I saw the reviews. Absolutely amazing food with lots of options. Fresh made to order food with reasonable prices. Staff were lovely we were served by 2 lovely ladies. Interior could do with updating

Nice local pub and decent prices

I visited the Foresters inn on Sunday 04.08.24 with my aunt, the atmosphere was lovely, the food was great, the service was fabulous and the people were lovely. We ended up being there from 1 pm to almost 8 pm. We sat chatting in the restaurant, talking and catching up, a live band played in the afternoon. It was a lovely touch, and a great afternoon all round. I will definitely be visiting here again.

Had a fantastic lunch on the way to Royal Ascot Golf Course. Also enjoyed 2 ice cold premium beers Highly recommend 👌

One of the best Sunday Roast dinners we have experienced. We can only highly recommend the food . Everything was so tasty , well seasoned and cooked extremely well. The service was excellent. We will be back ! Thank you

New to the area and came across this pub. The pricing is reasonable with very friendly and helpful staff. This will be becoming my new local due to the great atmosphere created by the staff.

This is the best pub in bagshot, we have been to others in the area and they do not compare. So worth the walk. My dogs absolutely love it here and love the free biscuits and water on tap. The owner is a massive dog lover including all staff, and all the staff are so attentive. The food is fantastic, all home made, had some amazing meals here. Even in busy periods your always acknowledged. And served really quickly. A massive hat's off to all as they go above and beyond. Thank you all. Can't wait for the next visit 😍

I very rarely leave reviews but felt compelled after visiting the Foresters Arms. There are very few proper pubs left so consider myself lucky to find this gem. Great atmosphere, pub food and staff who can’t do enough for you and to top it off live music. Keep up the good work, will be definitely returning 🍻

Had an evening meal which was very nice indeed. Several Ales ran out limiting choice,, but what was left was still very good. Service was friendly and efficient.

Lunchtime Fish & Chips followed by Apple & Rhubarb Crumble. Food was amazing and F&C was two for one. Incredible value and great service.

Great food and beer, nice outside area.

Such a lovely place to come. They are so friendly here and there is a lot of seating both inside and out. The menu is extensive with loads of choice, they also do a daily special which is buy one get one free which makes it even better. The pea and ewe pie was really good, the ham egg and chips was great and so was the fish and chips. I've been here twice now and am looking forward to going back again and trying a different meal!

Stopped at this establishment for a drink while out, the management and staff where very welcoming and professional, the restaurant and bar where absolutely spotless clean as where the bathrooms!! Didn't have food unfortunately but seen what others where eating and it looked amazing!!! The beer garden is beyond fantastic with plenty of shaded areas and also has a play area for the smaller ones, will definitely return here soon to try the food. Thank you to the management and staff for a really lovely experience.

The British food is so delicious that I was full of praise for it in an instant.

We had a great pub lunch. We chose 3 items each off the bar favourites menu. I had prawns, slow cooked pork on chips, and the hot wings. The food tasted great, was presented perfectly and more importantly, all 6 plates came out at the same time and HOT... Superb and such friendly staff. Highly recommended for lunch following a walk around Lightwater Country Park.

Booked this pub as it looked a family friendly place with outside play facilities and mid point for myself, my son and daughter and their children to celebrate birthdays for both myself and son. We were made very welcome upon arrival, the little ones being given crayons etc to do some colouring. The menu was quite extensive the food was very enjoyable and sensibly priced and I enjoyed the Courage Directors beer!. the play area, in my view is in need of some general tidying, but the kids enjoyed which was important and fortunately it was dry.

Cyclist new found heaven the restaurant has a huge garden at the back of the bar ask Lisa the owner she was kind enough to allow us to camp there. The place was very nice you meet many new people and friends! Thank you guys for a wonderful time there especially to Lisa , tony and a few others i can remember their name!

Great food and service for a quick stop while in the area. We had the Sunday roast, pork and the trio. Walked in and a very enthusiastic customer said it was worth it so we ordered the roasts. Didn't regret it. Seasoned well and the best Yorkshire pudding we've had for a London roast. Definitely recommend!

Good local pub not fancy with well kept beer and simple pub grub menu. Also dog friendly. Update 2023 sadly a few locals make it an unfriendly pub.

Poped in for a few drinks and very impressed with the tap selection! Multiple ciders and craft beers... just what I want out of a local pub!

Visited for the first time, and can't say we will be back. Might be different if it's your local and you go for a drink. We stopped for lunch... Chilli was dry, microwaved, no sauce, cold rice and a cold plate! Ordered a side of chips that came with cheese and bacon. I'm lactose intolerant. Cheese causes bad IBS issues so would never had ordered them. The bacon wasn't fully cooked as the rind was not cooked.... Microwaved! My wife had a cranberry and brie sandwich. It was so so. The bread had already begun to harden therefore questionable about how fresh the bread was. Drinks. Ok. Like I said, if you just want to drink, great. If not, I'd personally avoid.

Absolutely went above and beyond for my friends dad's wake. All the staff were fantastic and so polite and helpful. The food and the function room was 100% amazing. Everyone commented on what a lovely pub it was. Huge thanks to Lisa and Kay who made a sad day so fantastic.

Very cosy homely pub with a lovely ambiance. Limited menu but food was good. The chicken burger was slightly dry but the beef was good. Portions were generous.

Have only been twice (for the football) the bar staff are top notch. Really friendly amd super on it. The place is such a good atmosphere and looking forward to going back for the next Game. The chips are the only thing we have had and I have best cheesy/bacon chips I am have had at a pub Real cheddar cheese and good crispy back bacon. Yum.

The gents which I was shown to was a cupboard sized room with a toilet, wash basin, soap and paper towels, but no light! Don't think this was the main toilet! Probably will not stop there again.

Nice pub, friendly staff. Lots of choice for food and beer, both of which are decent.

Called in advance to check for overnight stop and they were very accommodating. Found us a table for a meal even though they were very busy. The car park would definitely benefit from a good spring clean. Possibly a job for couple of youngsters wanting to earn a few bob?

Every visit is met with lovely, attentive staff in a cosy, fun environment. It really is welcoming to everyone. Food is always lovely and their quizzes and comedy nights are brilliant!

Friendly staff and quite attentive although our server did forget to come back with our condiments for quite some time. Think they were busy bar serving as well as serving tables. The food was okay. The car park was not impressive lots of rubbish dumped at the end. Could put you off stopping. Nice wooded area opposite the pub if you want to stretch the legs of your four legged friends.

Booked a last minute large table (20 in the end!) for Sunday lunch - staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. From the first telephone call through the email pre-order, taking our drinks order on arrival and dealing with our many requests for gravy and sauces, the team never stopped smiling and checking we were all OK. Food quality and value for money was great - a team who clearly care about their customers. Would definitely stop by again.

Booked this pub for a lunch with friends and our dogs for my birthday. Didn't know the pub before, but was very surprised with the excellent and friendly service from the staff. The food was very good and there was a reasonable choice of beers. The premises and bathroom area , (i checked with the men) were clean. I wanted to give 5 stars but couldn't justify., a lick of paint would change that. It's on a busy main road (A30) but provides ample parking. Definitely recommend.

We popped in on our way home from work back to Kent, nice place, the pub is clean and inviting, staff are welcoming although the menu wasn't what we saw on the website, the website shows deluxe specials which are randomly chosen, when we asked the staff member he gave us all the options available to him, we drank our drink and paid and noticed the specials board on the way out, we totally would have eaten three or four of those options, what a shame as we popped in purely on good reviews.

When I have past this pub, I got the impression that it was very small and could not accept a larger crowd! How surprised was I when there today, after attending a friends funeral. Very nice venue and helpful staff, definitely one to attend at a later date.

Tasty lunch-vegetarian burger/onion rings/fries & salad. My friend had a meat version! Beautifully presented. Really attentive, friendly staff. Good value for money. Would only suggest a bit of refreshment on the external decor to attract more customers. It's definitely worth a visit.

Amazing customer service and great pub grub. We had two meals here as we stayed in our campervan just before visiting Legoland. Due to traffic problems, and a long drive with young children, we got there later than anticipated on a Sunday, but they went out of their way to serve us our meal anyway after the kitchen should have closed. All of the staff were attentive and polite. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back when we are down this way again.

Fantastic! We went there for my Fiancè's sister's birthday. My Fiancė had phoned to book a table and had told them I was vegan. Since being told that the staff had worked on a dish specifically for me. I was so impressed and grateful. The tofu Katsu curry they made was lovely and I felt very well looked after. Everyone else's meals were great and we all had a really good evening. What wonderful customer service and a great friendly team, we feel lucky that this pub is a short stroll from our home. Best pub in our local area. Staff are really friendly and easy to talk to. Since we started coming here a few years ago it quickly became our go-to local. Couldn't recommend highly enough. As an example of how good these guys are, on arriving on mine and my partners two year anniversary, they gave my stepson an ice cream (on the house!) and even let him help scoop it. They're all lovely and always a pleasure to be around.
